Close up of the Statue of Liberty

Back in October 2019, I questioned the idea that Edom had a ‘good’ side.

You can see that original article HERE, and man, did I get a lot of flak for it.

When I wrote that piece, I was trying to figure out if Trump really was the ‘gentile Moshiach’ he was being hailed as, by certain people.

By the time I’d combed through the sources, I’d come to the conclusion that nope, that whole idea of Edom having a ‘good side’ is a bunch of baloney.

Which got a lot of people’s backs up, because ‘Edom’ is very closely identified with the West, and especially the USA.

So much has happened since I wrote that piece.

Like, the US-sponsored assassination of Iranian General Solamani, on Iraqi soil, which preceded the COVID-19 plandemic by just a few short months.

And then of course, we had (and sadly, still have…) ‘COVID-1984’ to deal with since February. So it’s taken me a while to return to this subject.

But I’ve almost finished reading a book called: ‘The New Confessions of an Economic Hit Man‘ which has opened my eyes to a bunch more ways that the USA is definitely NOT ‘good Edom’.

First, please watch this short (2 mins) video (shmirat eynayim friendly), that sums up how the modern American / Western / economic system is based on violent exploitation and pillage of poorer countries:

Now, let me quote you something from New Confessions of an Economic Hitman, from the chapter called: “Honduras: The CIA Strikes’.

The author, John Perkins, is talking to a Panamanian businessmen, ‘Joel’, about how the CIA just keeps overthrowing or assassinating one Latin American leader after another, if they dare to stand up to American corporate interests.

(Quotes from the book are italicised. I’ve interspersed them with pertinent facts so you can follow what’s really going on here.)

Joel said that he and his friends, like most of Latin America, had known that the plane crash that had killed [former Panamian President Omar] Torrijos was a CIA assassination, and they had hated the United States.

From Wikipedia:

Torrijos was regarded by his supporters as the first Panamanian leader to represent the majority population of Panama, which is poor, Spanish-speaking, and of mixed heritage…. He opened many schools and created new job opportunities for those less fortunate. Some say he even spent his weekends giving a thousand dollars to random people and charities.[2]

Torrijos instituted a range of social and economic reforms to improve the land lots of the poor, redistributed agricultural land and prosecuted the richest and most powerful families in the country, as well as independent student and labor leaders. The reforms were accompanied by an ambitious public works program, financed by foreign banks.

[Ed note: Torrjos was killed because he insisted on re-nationalising the Panama Canal, and bringing it back under Panamian control, as opposed to US control.]

Back to ‘Joel’:

“But things changed. Just like you forgave Japan and Germany, we forgave you……Now, this thing in Honduras…. well, it triggers memories and old resentments….”

....[Honduran President] Zelaya had advocated a 60 percent increase in the minimum wage, which had infuriated two US companies, Chiquita Brands International (formerly United Fruit) and Dole Food Company….

…American CEOs know that if Honduras’s hourly wage rate rises, so will that of all the other Latin American countries. Honduras, along with Haiti, sets the minimum wage benchmark. No-one will go below the benchmark.

We talked about many liberal policies introduced in Honduras during the 3 1/2 years of Zelaya’s presidency. These included subsidies for small farmers, free education and meals for poor children, a reduction in interest rates on bank loans to homeowners and local businesses, and free electricity for people who could not afford to pay for it, as well as the increase in the minimum wage.

The policies paid off: Honduras enjoyed a nearly 10 percent decline in the poverty level.

So what did the USA do?

It engineered a coup in 2009 to overthrow President Zelaya, and to put a stop to all of his policies that were benefitting the poor majority – but hurting the super-rich shareholders of Chiquita Brands and Dole Food Company.

Really? You’re still telling me the USA is ‘good Edom’?

And what happened in Honduras is by no means the only example of the USA’s ‘evil empire’ behavior.

If anything, it was ‘milder’ than the treatment so many other countries have had, at the hands of America, because at least it didn’t end with an outright war.

Here’s some more countries, where the democratically-elected leaders where either exiled, assassinated or carpet-bombed out of office by the USA, because they dared to stand up for the economic interests of their own people:

Mohammed Mossadegh, the democratically-elected Prime Minister of Iran was ousted in a coup in 1953, arranged by the CIA and Britain’s MI6.

Jacobo Arbenz, the democratically-elected president of Guatemala, who was brought down by the CIA in 1954, because he opposed United Fruit.

Salvador Allende, the democratically-elected president of Chile was assassinated by the CIA in 1973, for opposing ITT (International Telephone and Telegraph).

The USA has been behind so many coup d’etats in developing countries, it’s hard to keep up with them. Here’s a very partial list of some of the more notable ones:

Haiti, in 2004;

Grenada (invaded by the USA in 1983)

And let’s not even talk about Iraq.

Then, there’s the whole ‘Operation Condor‘ thing, that happened across most of South America (this from Wikipedia:)

Operation Condor  was a United States-backed campaign of political repression and state terror involving intelligence operations and assassination of opponents, officially and formally implemented in November 1975 by the right-wing dictatorships of the Southern Cone of South America….

…the so-called “Archives of Terror” list 50,000 killed, 30,000 disappeared and 400,000 imprisoned…

Does this still sound ‘good’ to you?

When Trump was campaigning to ‘make America great again’, what he forgot to mention is that America only got ‘great’ in the first place by using blackmail, threats, extortion and violence to boot out one democratically-elected leader after another in the developing world, to replace them with brutal CIA puppet-dictators.

Of course, that’s not how it was billed to the gullible public.

We all got told that these economic wars against the world’s poorest peoples were being waged to root out the Commies, or to fight dictators with weapons of mass destruction, or as part of the all-pervasive ‘war on terror’.

But really?

It all just boils down to America and the other Western elites using their armies to continue exploiting the natural resources of poorer countries at gun point.

Why am I writing about this, today?

Because it’s part of that whole ‘Moshiach scene’ we’ve been discussing, when the world of lies finally crumbles.

Just like we’ve all been lying to ourselves about our bad middot and horrible, hurtful tendencies towards other people (especially our kids…) at the personal level, at the national level, Western countries like the US, UK, France – and a bunch more, including the State of Israel – have also been lying for decades about what they are really up to in the world.

People hate the USA for a reason.

Not just because they are commies, or terrorists, or radical muslims, or anti-democratic (although sometimes, some of them are.)

People hate the USA because the USA has literally turned many places in the world into a literal hell on earth, in pursuit of the mighty dollar.

The wars going on in Libya and Iraq and Syria right now?

They are all about oil and controlling natural resources.

All the fake ‘peace processes’ being rolled out between Israel and Saudi Arabia and Bahrain and [fill in the blank]?

They are all about oil and controlling natural resources.

All this COVID-1984 plandemic stuff, that the USA and the State of Israel are bang, smack in the middle of?

It’s all about controlling natural resources, and ensuring that the tiny group of super-rich people in the world stay that way, while stomping the rest of the planet even further down into the mud.

Trump isn’t ‘good’.

Biden isn’t ‘good’.

America isn’t ‘good’.

And the sooner more of us wake up and stop lying to ourselves about the USA being a force for ‘good’ in the world, the easier and faster Moshiach can come.

It’s worth noting that the Zohar writes that when Yaakov “bowed down to Esav” he, in fact, swapped his bad part with Esav’s good part, so he could be completely holy and the other side completely wicked. It’s written further there that if Esav knew what was Yaakov’s plan in doing so, he’d have killed himself immediately so as to avoid this exchange.

    Please look at this link:

You see, you are confusing the CIA with the United States. The CIA is a horrible agency that Trump’s team is in the process of “dealing with”. Kennedy was killed by the CIA, and it is the CIA which coined the term ‘”conspiracy theorist”, it has been at odds with the “good US” for decades, only in a covert manner. Now it is coming to light for all to see and know. It is clear to whoever has researched it that it is a globalist, papist organization. It is actually under the protection of the Vatican for your info. See here:

You have to carefully distinguish between the papists/democrats/communists/ NWO crowd, and the US citizens dedicated to the Constitution, which is based on the Tanach. Trump and his team are totally on the side of the anti-NWO.

Daisy, I can’t agree. Take a look at these headlines, and then honestly tell me if this doesn’t 100% fit the ‘economic hit man’ paradigm’ set out above:

“Donald Trump threatens Iraq with sanctions, says US won’t leave unless ‘they pay us back’ for air base.” –

And this, about the same story:

“We have a very extraordinarily expensive air base that’s there,” Mr. Trump said of Iraq. “It cost billions of dollars to build. Long before my time. We’re not leaving unless they pay us back for it.”

Mr. Trump then escalated his language, saying: “If they do ask us to leave, if we don’t do it in a very friendly basis, we will charge them sanctions like they’ve never seen before ever. It’ll make Iranian sanctions look somewhat tame.”

“If there’s any hostility, that they do anything we think is inappropriate, we are going to put sanctions on Iraq, very big sanctions on Iraq,” Mr. Trump added.

In making his warning, the president was threatening sanctions on a country for forcing out American troops whom he himself had pledged to bring home during his 2016 presidential campaign.

I can’t find the link now, but I covered it in ‘real time’ on my blog that the outgoing President of Iraq, Adel Abdul Mahdi, publically accused Trump’s government of sparking off the ‘wave of civil unrest’ that forces his resignation back in January 2020, because his government was negotiating with China to rebuild Iraq’s (American-destroyed…) infrastructure, in return for 20% of Iraq’s oil revenue.

      Trump wanted 50%.

Mahdi said ‘no’ – so the Trump administration pressed the nuclear button on his government, began a wave of civil unrest that saw 500 Iraqis killed in 2 weeks – and forced Mahdi – and his agreement with China – out.

BTW – something similar is happening with the new port in Haifa, that was meant to be being completed 2021, and built by the Chinese. There is a massive fight going on over that, too, behind the scenes, with the Americans.

And then, there’s this uncomfortable fact:

None other than George Soros a)invested millions in Trump’s doomed ‘Trump Towers’ project when no-one else wanted to touch it, and b) effectively cancelled his loan to Trump, which was worth a couple hundred million of dollars.

Why would George Soros give ‘free’ money to Trump?

The more I’ve researched Trump, the more I’m convinced he’s just a front man for the other ‘global mafia’ group. There are no good guys here, only evil and more evil.

It is interesting, that the only time the real ‘good’ of Esav can be isolated and identified is after it’s been separated off from Esav’s body, post death.

Nothing in the Torah is ever ‘stam’.

It very well could be that you’re right (probably), but just to maybe understand it a little differently, it could be that Make America Great Again doesn’t mean to turn back to America of post WWII, rather to reembrace whatever interpretation of the “Founding Father’s” vision being held. Trump has seemingly been interested in reducing the US military presence and control in certain arenas, which is also seemingly why he’s so targeted by the “Deep State” which is made up of the CIA, defense industry, etc… A big US military presence overseas is a huge agent for the war industry in the US and one of the keys to the grips on power. It just seems like Trump’s enemies are the ones who are behind everything you’ve laid out in this post…

Still, the whole thing going on with the election in the US seems to be too well orchestrated. The lawyer Sidney Powell even said that voter fraud is so obvious “it’s almost like they wanted to get caught.” At the same time, to even suggest voter fraud gets people labeled as fascist conspiracy theorists. The whole thing seems to be contrived to create chaos and each side is so “certain” that they are “right and good”, but it’s all a big distraction from whatever else is really going on… Great Reset, WEF, etc etc etc…

From our perspective, this whole thing is “good” because it’s all collapsing, which seems like a prerequisite one way or the other. When mashiach comes and the Nation of Israel rises up to its ultimate purpose and Jerusalem once again is the recognized center of the world, etc., what place is there for a “strong, healthy America”? Either way, the whole Times of Mashiach doesn’t include a “Great America” that is democratic, capitalism, liberal values, etc. Whether it’s this great or that great, it all needs to collapse and recognize the sovereignty of Hakadosh Baruch Hu and his Oneness… almost certainly “good” people in America will be part of the perfected world… but what about the “nation” of America as a whole? Does it really matter? What are we to gain by us “deciding” one way or the other about Good America or Bad America or whatever it is?

For sure the whole story as it unfolds is fascinating… but at the end of the day, even the best, ideal America we can cook up from the Founding Father’s perspective or whatever it might be simply doesn’t fit into the Jewish vision of Messianic Times (as it relates to economy, political system, values, etc).

Whatever the emes is, IY”H we’ll find out soon through an abundance of chessed and rachamim!

This edomic collosus has built a petro dollar empire for american elites.

The only good in edom comes from neshamot of gerim that emerge from edom. Everything else from edom is bloodshed and money.

      Rivka Levy says:

Don’t agree with this assessment. If you look at the linked piece, The Good Side of Edom, there’s a whole bunch of Torah sources on this subject. One of them states:

“Edomites are barred from the World to Come only if they act like Esav (a barbarian who scorned God, committed murder and violated women.)….[A]ny gentile (even if he is not a ger toshav, who formally accepts the seven Noahide laws) has a portion in the World to Come, provided he does not emulate the barbaric Esav.”

Also, the sources seem to suggest that while the LEADERS of Edom are uniformly awful, corrupt and evil, there are still good souls living in Edomite nations that don’t have to convert to be ‘good’ (as stated above).

Sweeping statements that aren’t based in Torah don’t really take this discussion forward in a useful way, they just sow more unnecessary division and hatred.

Formally accept the Noahide Laws, as I understand it, means that one accepts the truth that Moshe confirmed these laws on Mt Sinai. Those individuals have a place in the Olam Haba. Just wanted to differentiate between those that keep the Noahide laws because they “sound good” or “just make sense”.
