Let’s learn more about these ‘Jewish-Christians’, and see how they’ve been shaping history behind the scenes.

First, a note on the sources for this information.

Much of it has been gathered together in a book called ‘The Secret Legacy of Jesus: The Judaic Teachings That Passed From James the Just to the Founding Fathers’, written by Lutheran Minister and adjunct Professor of world religions at Penn State, Jeffrey Butz.

In turn, one of the main places where Butz got his info was from a work written by ‘Hebrew Christian’ Hugh Schonfield, called The History of Jewish Christianity, (1937).

Before we continue, I went to check out ‘Hugh Schonfield’ on geni, to see who he’s related to.

I hit the motherlode.

HERE is where you can see his profile on geni.

If you keep clicking back on his mother’s side, you get to a whole bunch of ‘Cohens’, ‘Boas’s’ and ‘Goldschmidts’.

Because I’ve been eating and sleeping these family trees for two years, I can tell you that the ‘Boas’ family were very wealthy parnessim in Amsterdam; they were known Sabbateans – and they were also the supporters of the Goldschmidt bankers in London, and the ‘bad Baal Shem’ of London, Dr Samuel Chaim Falk.

Here’s the relevant snippet from THIS post:

Falk’s main financial backers in Amsterdam were the wealthy Sabbatean ‘Boas’ family – now conveniently scrubbed out of Jewish history (possibly because Frank’s second wife may have been a ‘Boas’.)

Falk’s main financial backers in London were the Goldschmidt banker-brothers, and he also hangs out with the ‘Chief Rabbi’ David Tebele Schiff.

Falk is the guy who began the ‘Order of the Golden Dawn’, and who also encouraged the creation of a bunch more secret societies like the Asiatic Brotherhood – all practising black magic, and preaching a creed of ‘universalism’.

Here’s another pertinent snippet:

Falk spent the last 5 years of his life on developing a ‘Judeo-Christian Freemasonry’, where Jews wouldn’t be pressured to convert to Christianity.

It looks like this was the ‘Egyptian Rites Freemasonry’ that was later ‘marketed’, if you can call it that, by Falk’s protege Cagliostro (aka Joseph Balsamo from Italy, who may well have been another Sabian-Sabbatean, even before he met Falk.)….

Remember, Frank was the son-in-law of ‘Dr Falk’, and the putative father of Falk’s six grand-daughters – all of whom married back into the ‘orthodox’ Jewish community of secret Sabbateans….

Defacto, Falk created a ‘new mystical religion, which would…transcend all sectarian divisions.”

OK, let’s get back to ‘Hebrew Christian’ Hugh Schonfield’s family tree.

If you trace it back, you see that he descends from the ‘who’s who’ of court Jews and Sabbatean-Frankists from the last 400 years, who I ‘ve been writing about here for months.

Gluckel of Hameln is in there; there are ‘Schwabs’ in there; there are tons of ‘Goldschmidts‘ and ‘Bacharachs’ in there, there are ‘Spiras’ and ‘Hildesheimers‘ in there.

And there are also ‘Rothschilds’ in there – the real family tree, not all the fakes ones I’ve been ploughing through the last few months.

If you go HERE, and click ‘direct descendants’ mode on geni, it will show you how the original surname of the Rothschild family was BACHARACH.

It will also show you that the Rothschild bankers ‘descend’ from the famous court Jew, Josel of Rosheim (Loanz).

Snippet from there:

We know ‘Hayyim Samuel Jacob Falk’ well.

He’s the demon-commanding, black-magic practising, Order of the Golden Dawn-founding father-in-law of false messiah Jacob Frank….

And ‘Eliyahu the Baal Shem of Worms’ – aka Eliyahu Loanz – is also related to another famous tax-collecting Court Jew, namely Josel of Rosheim.

(Josel of Rosheim’s family were also accused of performing satanic ritual murders.… All this is starting to hit very close to home, isn’t it?)

This is the same family that ‘the Rothschilds’ descend from.

This is the same family that ‘Hebrew Christian’ Hugh Schonfield descends from.

And Hugh Schonfield is the guy who wrote a book explaining the true history of ‘Jewish Christians’, over the last 2,000 years.

You see how all this hangs together more and more, the more facts we uncover?

So now, let’s quote a little from Hugh Schonfield’s book, before I go back into ‘summing up Jewish-Christian history’ mode.

Gentile Christianity has been intelligibly enough preoccupied with its own rise to power and influence, and in the first flush of that power it sought by anathema, suppression and wholesale destruction of documents to overthrow the witness of Jewish Christianity…. Far from becoming a futile anachronism, its spirit and human activity has persisted until the present day, and is even now undergoing a revival on a scale unknown since apostolic times.

Jewish Christianity has always existed to supply that of which the Church has stood in need — the Messianic vision…. if the true preaching of the Kingdom of God had been carried out according to the Gospel injunction, the horrors of warfare would have long since ceased between so-called Christian countries. The only diplomatic corps that Europe would require would be “ambassadors for Christ.”

Plain English: ‘Jewish Christianity’ has always existed, despite the persecution of the Catholic Church, and it’s follower consider it to be the ‘authentic’ version of xtianity.

And the guy who is writing its history is descended from all those ‘court Jews’ with strange xtian links, and ties to other false messiahs like Shabtai Tzvi / SHACH and Jacob Frank, who in turn have been clearly linked to the Freemasons and other secret societies on this blog.

Now, it’s time to fill in a bit more ‘Jewish-Christian’ history.

The following outline follows that set out in Butz’s book.

====

In 313 CE, Constantine’s ‘Edict of Milan’ sets the scene to start treating ‘mainstream’ – i.e. gentile / pagan – xtianity more kindly.

At the same time, that means that the Jewish-Christian groups like the Ebionites, and the ‘breakaway’, more gnostic Elkecaites, start to be persecuted very seriously, to stamp out their ‘heresy’.

One Elkecaite who has a Jewish father and Persian mother, Mani, moves up to the more religiously tolerant Sassanid empire of the Persians, and creates another version of so-called ‘Jewish-xtianity’ but with a way more pronounced, devil-worshipping Gnostic creed.

This becomes known as ‘Manicheanism’ – and before Islam shows up, is a serious rival to the Catholic and Byzantine churches, in terms of how many adherents it has.

Butz writes on page 256 that it was:

‘likely that the Desposyni [i.e. Jesus’ blood relatives] were leaders of the Elkesaites in Mesopotamia’, and in contact with Mani.

Conventional history says all these Jewish-xtian groups including the Ebionites and Elkecaites ‘disappear’.

But, there are traces of the Ebionites in Saudi Arabia still, even in the 11th and 12th centuries.

And the xtian-gnostic groups who don’t believe that Yoshki was fully divine are said to have ‘Arian tendencies’.

Take note of that term: Arian.

In the meantime, these evolving Jewish-xtian groups start to organise themselves more like a ‘secret society’, thanks in part to all the persecution.

The Manicheans, for example, now divide into the elite ‘Elect’ – who know all the secrets – and the ‘Listeners’.

The ‘Elect’ are:

‘[E]ntrusted with the furthering of Mani’s mission, and they were bound to a strict ascetism including vegetarianism and celibacy’.

(Just to confuse us all more, sometimes these Manicheans are also known as ‘Mandeans’, and also as ‘Sabians’.)

In the meantime, many of these underground Jewish-xtians seem to migrate further North, particularly settling in the South of France.

Butz writes that there is a Jewish state in that area at that time, called ‘Septimania’.

Personally, this whole idea needs a lot of double-checking, going forward, because this is exactly the same period of time that ‘Khazaria’ had a lot of renegade (Sadducee / Karaite) Jews from Babylonia move up, as we covered in previous posts HERE and HERE and HERE.

So either the same sort of thing happened twice, in both ‘Septimania’ and ‘Khazar’, or Septimania is being used as a historical decoy.

Point is, the ‘Jewish-xtians’ were still going strong.

And over the next few centuries, Manicheanism (the more gnostic version of ‘Jewish-Christianity) starts to ‘morph’ again, into three specific movements, called:

The PAULICIANS – based out of Armenia, around the 6th century CE.

The MESSALIANS (also known as Euchites) – based in and around Mesopotamia, from the 4th century on

The BOGOMILS – began around the 10th century, and quickly spread throughout much of Europe.

This snippet is from HERE:

Bogomilism was a Christian neo-Gnostic or dualist sect founded in the First Bulgarian Empire by the priest Bogomil during the reign of Tsar Peter I in the 10th century….

The Bogomils called for a return to what they considered to be early spiritual teaching, rejecting the ecclesiastical hierarchy.

Their primary political tendencies were resistance to the state and church authorities. This helped the movement spread quickly in the Balkans, gradually expanding throughout the Byzantine Empire and later reaching Kievan Rus’, Bosnia, Dalmatia, Serbia, Italy, and France (Cathars).

They did not use the Christian cross, nor build churches, as they revered their [own bodies] and considered their body to be the temple. This gave rise to many forms of practice to cleanse oneself through purging, fasting, celebrating and dancing.

Meanwhile, this snippet from HERE shows how more of the evil practices that came to be the hallmarks of these devil-worshipping ‘Jewish-Christian’ sects were being rumoured, even a thousand years ago:

 Michael Psellos, a Byzantine monk, accused Bogomils and Euchites of orgiastic practices such as incest and homosexuality.

Furthermore, he argued that children born from these promiscuous activities were brought before a Satanic assembly after eight days, offered up to Satan and then cannibalistically eaten…. Euthymios Zigabenos is another source for these accusations.

The idea of these unholy acts can be tracked back to alleged practices of certain Gnostic sects.

Jacob Frank was hanging out with some Bogomils in Podolia / Ukraine.

This snippet comes from a post called ‘False Messiahs’:

  • The ancient sect of Jewish-Gnostic-Sabians were known to be present and active in the Ukraine / Podolia, at the time that “Frankism” really took off.

“Has’sidism and Frankism… belong to the long chain of heretic sects that goes back to the early Christians and the Gnostics…..from that remote corner of eastern Europe, the forest and mountain country of eastern Galicia and the adjoining Ukraine which saw the last offsprings of gnostic Manicheism and the Bogomils.

There is so much to unpick and sort here, the information can become overwhelming – even for me!

So for the rest of this post, let’s just focus on one area where these underground ‘Jewish-xtian-gnostic’ groups really took off: Northern Italy, and the South of France.

In these areas, the Bogomils influenced a new movement called the ‘CATHARS’, which suddenly appeared out of nowhere in the 11th century.

This snippet comes from HERE:

As Dualists, Cathars believed in two principles, a good god and his evil adversary (much like God and Satan of mainstream Christianity).

The good principle had created everything immaterial (good, permanent, immutable) while the bad principle had created everything material (bad, temporary, perishable).

Cathars called themselves simply Christians; their neighbours distinguished them as “Good Christians”. The Catholic Church called them Albigenses, or less frequently. Cathars.

Before we go on, I want to underline that ‘Good xtian’ thing, because the Cathars called themselves ‘Bon hommes’.

The Ebionites before them called themselves ‘Tobim’, or tovim – good.

And here’s one of those weird hook-ups that kind of makes a very big point, in a very simple way.

On geni, you see that the progenitor of the Goldschmidts and the Rothschilds (and Hugh Schonfield’s ancestor….) is called ‘Joseph de Bonne’ – ‘Joseph the good’. And that he hails from France – the same region as the Cathars.

But here is where we see he has a ‘double identify’:

In this version, Joseph de Bonne is called ‘Joseph HaLevy Goldschmidt Stadthagen’.

And that family tree leads us straight to ‘Jewish rabbinic royalty’, plus a whole bunch more court Jews, including the Oppenheimers.

(I will be unpicking this family tree for months….)

Back to the Cathars.

Here’s another telling snippet about what this Jewish-Christian-Gnostic group actually believed:

[The Cathars] largely regarded men and women as equals, and had no doctrinal objection to contraceptioneuthanasia or suicide. In some respects the Cathar and Catholic Churches were polar opposites. For example the Cathar Church taught that all non-procreative sex was better than any procreative sex. The Catholic Church taught – as it still teaches – exactly the opposite.

Following their tenet, Catholics concluded that masturbation was a far greater sin than rape (as mediaeval penitentials confirm). Following their principles, Cathars could deduce that sexual intercourse between man and wife was more culpable than homosexual sex.

Does any of this sound familiar?

Most of the nobles and aristocracy in the South of France become Cathars in the 11th and 12th century.

And most of the people.

So much so, that the Catholic Church was almost totally replaced. Pope Innocent III doesn’t like that – at all! – so he organises a crusade against the Cathars in the South of France, which comes to be known as the Albigensian Crusade.

It began in 1209, lasted 20 years – and killed a million people.

Who else is hanging out in ‘Cathar France’ at this point?

  1. The Knights Templar
  2. The Knights Hospitaller

These groups don’t participate in the crusade against the ‘Cathars’.

Interestingly, this is also the same time and place where we find RASHI (1040-1105 CE), and his group of scholars.

Butz claims that RASHI was a frequent and welcome guest at Count Hugo De Payens Court, in Troyes.

That’s a claim that needs more double-checking.

But what IS true, is that Hugo de Payens (1070-1136) was the first Grand Master of the Knights Templar, who set up shop in the Holy Land.

And so we see there is a lot of cross-over with these ‘Jewish-Christian-Gnostics’, and Eretz Yisrael.

In his book, Butz comments on the fact that the Knights Templar effectively become the first ‘multinational corporation’ in the World, and also set up the first real international banking system.

Honestly, I need to do a whole separate post about ‘Knights Templars’ and modern-day freemasonry, because there’s a lot of information to consider.

But let’s sum up the main points, from this post.

RECAP:

  • Hugh Schonfield is a ‘Hebrew Christian’, who writes The History of Jewish Christianity, in 1937.
  • He’s also related to the Boas, Cohen and Goldschmidt families, known to be a) court Jews, parnassim and b) wealthy supporters of Shabtai Tzvi, Dr Samuel Chaim Falk, and Jacob Frank.
  • Gnostic-Jewish-Christianity has been going on for the last 2,000 years, and particularly popped up again in France in the 11th and 12th century, as part of the ‘Cathars’ movement, that was put down by the Catholic Church.
  • The Knights Templars also began in France, at the same time that the Cathars was going strong.
  • Meanwhile, the Gnostic-Jewish-Christian ‘Bogomils’ had a very strong presence in Kievan-Rus – what is today known as Ukraine – amongst other places.
  • False messiah Jacob Frank was apparently in touch with these ‘Bogomils’ in Podolia.
  • So many of the ‘court Jews’, including the Rothschilds, appear to be connected to these ‘Jewish-Christian’ groups, who maintained a belief in Yoshki for the last 2,000 years, whilst trying to stay ‘culturally Jewish’.
  • The movement of Mani in the 4th century is when the ‘Jewish-Christian’ group called the Elkecaites really started to incorporate more devil-worshipping, ‘dualistic’ beliefs, that basically state there is a ‘good God’ and a ‘bad God’, chas v’halila, and that the ‘bad God’ is the one who created the material world.
  • This Gnostic belief system also teaches that ‘releasing’ people from their human body (i.e. killing them….) is the biggest kindest you can do for someone, and the way to achieve spiritual ‘Nirvana’.
  • So, instead of blaming the Jews for all the world’s ills, all the anti-semites out there can hopefully now start to understand that it is ‘believers in Christ’ who are really causing so much of the evil in the world, and mamash worshipping the devil. (A person can hope….)

There is still so much to write, not least about how all this ties in with people like Jonathan Eybshutz, and his censorship of the Talmud and gnostic-xtian tendencies.

And also, how it connects back to Dr Falk, and his ‘Order of the Golden Dawn’.

And also, how the Armenian church fits into this – with it’s ‘all seeing eye’ symbolism and connection to the Old City of Jerusalem, and the Templars, and the Armenian convert who lived in Jerusalem at the time of Yoshki, etc, Queen Helene of Adiabene.

And last but not least, where the whole question of ‘Christian Zionism’ and the State of Israel fit into this picture.

I guess we’ll get to all that in due course.

But in the next post, I want to go back to the beginning, to see if we can get a clearer picture of when Yoshki was actually alive, and what else was happening in the Jewish world, at that time.

I think we’ll learn some very interesting things.

Almost exactly a year ago, I wrote a post for my old blog called ‘Christian Jews’.

For new readers who don’t know what happened to that old blog, I decided to take the whole thing down a few months ago, shortly after I found the smoking gun that clearly showed how the State of Israel used Directed Energy Weapons to cause the deaths of 45 people at Meron last L’Ag B’Omer, directly and indirectly.

Long story short, I was literally scared they were going to come after me, if I kept the blog up, so I decided to take the whole thing down and start over.

Point is, I had a huge amount of research on that blog, which I saved offline, and which I’m still trying to figure out how to ‘mine’ and put together as books…. At some point.

And one of those blog posts was about the ancestor of the SHACH, called Akiva of Salonica.

First, I’m just going to cut and paste what I wrote back then, in italics below, (you can see the original cached copy HERE), on May 7, 2021, and then I’ll update it with more pertinent information, as things have moved on quite a bit since then.

I’ve been busy putting together a real family tree for the more ‘interesting’ Jewish families, where there’s been an obvious cover-up of the real details and information.

In the process of doing that, I kept tripping over weird names, and weird snippets of information, that hinted that certain members of these families had formally converted to xtianity. And I was amazed at just how many of these weird names I kept tripping over, despite all the cover up that’s gone on.

Let me give a few concrete examples:

Exhibit 1: Paulus Renatus (aka Lob Oppenheim)

 

Here’s a snippet about him, from HERE:

Lob Oppenheim – Paulus Renatus The first Frankfurt Jew about whose conversion and its accompanying circumstances more detailed information is available was Lob Oppenheim, who informed the city council of his intention in August 1537 and at the same time complained that his wife Edel (also: nobility) refuse to convert with him.

Notice that this was happening a good 100 years before Shabtai Tzvi, and a good 50 years AFTER Jews from Spain and Portugal had been forced to go into exile, or convert under Ferdinand and Isabella.

Now, if you go HERE – the German Wikipedia article for the Oppenheim family – you’ll see that (despite a clumsy attempted cover up…), we can identify the xtian ‘Paulus Renatus’ as one and the same as the Jewish Judah Loeb Oppenheim of Frankfurt – married to Edel.

It says that – at least initially – Edel, his wife, refused to convert with him.

But if you continue reading down that list of ‘Oppenheims’ in Frankfurt who directly descended from ‘Paulus Renatus’, you quickly see that there are way more relatives listed as ‘Christian Jews’ in this family, including:

The grandson of Paulus Renatus, was also called Juda Löb (Löw) Oppenheim. His wife’s mother’s uncle (‘Amschel von Schleusingen’) was another xtian convert called Hans Cunrath.

According to the below, xtian ‘Amschel von Schleusingen’ had a double identity, and was known as ‘Akiva Frankfurter Guggenheim‘ within the Jewish community.

[Ed. note: His two wives were both ‘Gunzburgs‘, and I also just learned that Akiva Frankfurter Guggenheim’s ancestor was ALSO R’ Akiva HaKohen Katz of Uban – who the SHACH also descends from. Read on below. It’s also possible that ‘Amschel von Schleusingen is actually Akiva frankfurter’s brother, not his alter ego.]

One of (secret xtian) ‘Akiva Frankfurter Guggenheim’s’ daughters, called Rechle Wetzlar, was the mother of Ella Rothschild – the progenitor of the famous Rothschild clan.

That’s not a coincidence.

====

 

Going back to that Wikipedia entry for the Oppenheim family, we next learn this:

Judah Lob Oppenheim #2, the grandson of Paulus Renatus, had another brother called Meyer Oppenheim (1580-1640).

Guess what?

Meyer also converted out to xtianity, as did his children.

But his wife Breindlen refused to be baptised, and so began a long, protracted divorce that lasted for many years, and caused an enormous chillul Hashem in both the Jewish Frankfurt community, and also amongst the xtians.

Here‘s a snippet of what was going on then:

Meir Oppenheim converted on December 21, 1606 to Christianity and took the name John Daniel Lichtenstein in. His wife Brendle (Brendlin) did not convert, but their children were baptized.

She demanded a divorce from him , he refused this and the disputes lasted until after 1620… because Lichtenstein demanded a share of 13,500 guilders for himself from the joint property with his wife, it was a sum of 18,000 guilders… [I]n November 1610 he sued his “former Jewish housewife” and her relatives as well…. 

Meir Oppenheimer / Johann Daniel Lichtenstein fell away from the Christian faith after being baptized, became Jewish again and fled to Poland. His brothers Mosche “Zum Schwert” and Juda Löb “Zum White Löwen” were assumed to have been the escape helpers. They fled from the threat of torture to force a confession and turned to the Supreme Court , whereupon the council issued a judgment that forced Moshe to pay 9,000 guilders and Löb 3,000 guilders.

After this judgment, Meir was baptized again in 1626.

You see what I mean?

These guys just flipped in and out of xtianity or Judaism as it suited them – and then carried on being the leaders and ‘rabbis’ of the Jewish community.

For example, here’s what happened to Meir’s son:

Hieronimus Lichtenstein became a rabbi after his father fell away from Christianity, professed again Christian baptism and became a Protestant pastor…. baptized in 1626.

There are a LOT more links with the Oppenheim family to explore, but we’ll leave that here for now, as I still have a couple more ‘Christian-Jews’ to introduce you too.

Exhibit 2: John Ernuszt I

Now, I’m sure you’ve never heard of ‘John Ernuszt‘. So let me introduce you, a little:

John Ernuszt, Sr. was Ban of Slavonia from 1473 to 1476. He was born into a Jewish family in Vienna. He moved to Buda, the capital of the Kingdom of Hungary, and converted to Roman Catholicism. He became a purveyor to the royal court, which enabled him to meet Matthias Corvinus, King of Hungary.

His career in the administration of royal revenues began in 1461, with responsibility for the collection of the thirtieth (a custom duty) in Pozsony County….

Ernuszt inspired Matthias’s reform of the royal revenues (especially the centralization of their administration and the abolishment of tax exemptions) in 1467. In the same year, the king made him royal treasurer. Six years later, he was appointed ban of Slavonia and became one of the barons of the realm.

John Ernuszt Sr has two sons with his wife Catherine (the records don’t know if she was Jewish or not).

One, Sigismund Ernuszt, is made the Bishop of Pecs in 1473, while the second one, John Ernuszt Jnr, follows his dad into dealing with the royal finances.

Here’s a little about what happens next (from Wikipedia):

The Ernuszt brothers who held more than 3,500 peasant households were among the wealthiest landowners in Hungary in 1494…. In 1495, he received the estate of Munkács (MukacheveUkraine) from the King….

His brother, Bishop Sigismund was murdered in summer 1505. His three retainers (John Gyulai, Louis Szerecsen and Albert Cupi) strangled him to seize his wealth.[12] Sigismund’s legal heir was his younger brother, John… John Ernuszt brought charges against the assassins in spring 1506, also accusing them of misappropriation of the Ernuszt property. However they were never sentenced….

In 1514, John initiated a second lawsuit against the three retainers… John’s lawyers accused the suspects of murder, the falsification of Sigismund’s last will and embezzlement of 1,3 million gold florins….

Following John’s death, his only living son Caspar initiated a new trial in 1536, however he died in 1540 and the House of Ernuszt became extinct, making the lawsuit is obsolete.

I discovered ‘John Ernuszt’ in a weird way.

As you know, I’m going through the family trees of a few ‘interesting’ families, and I’d got up to trying to figure out who the ancestors of the SHACH were, Shabbatai ben Meir HaKohen Katz Ashkenazi.

(That’s a whole other story… and I’m not sure I’m ever going to be able to really tell it. But I digress.)

So, I get to this geni profile of ‘R Akiva HaKohen Katz’ of Budin‘ (1460-1496), and here’s a little of what I read:

“There was a man here in Prague that was great in Torah, wealth and Yichus that came to Prague from those that were exiled from the holy congregation of Uban (Budapest) because of a libel that was fabricated there.

This man was called Rabbi Akiva from Uban. [Son of Rabbi Yitzchok HaKohen son of Rabbi Akiva Kakohen the elder, Av Bais Din of Saloniki (Greece) who were both exiles from Spain, all descendants of The Kohen Gadol Elie.]

Rabbi Akiva was called to the Yeshiva above (died) in the year 5256 (1496). He was known as an expert in Royal Court customs and because of jealousy, the nobles of Hungary in Uban fabricated a libel. He came here (Prague) and built a great, respected house and spread tora in the generation of Rabbi Yaakov POLLACK who was the Av Bais Din here at that time. [Listed as an advisor of King Mathais of Hungary by Encyclopedia Judaica.]…

One of his sons was Rabbi Gershon father of Rabbi Shimshon HaCohen, father of Rabbi Yitzhak HaCohen-Katz, son-in-law of the great Maharal of Prague.

There’s a few things that strike me as odd about this, initially.

First, ‘R’ Akiva HaKohen Katz’ has an alter ego, where’s he’s apparently also known as ‘Furst von Open’.

Whenever you see ‘von’, that means the person was ennobled. But hard as I look, I can’t find any record anywhere of a Jewish advisor to the Hungarian king who was ennobled at this time…. except, for John Ernuszt I, the converted Jew.

Akiva comes from ‘Budin’, and John lives in ‘Buda’ – the same place.

Akiva is apparently at the Hungarian court between 1460-1496, and John is apparently at the Hungarian court at exactly the same time.

How is that for a CO-INC-ID-ENCE?

Akiva HaKohen Katz then moves from Hungary to Prague…. at exactly the same time that ‘John Ernuszt’ apparently dies, after becoming embroiled in a massive dispute, or ‘libel’ with the Hungarian nobles.

If you go HERE, you start to figure out a little more about why the nobles start revolting against ‘John Ernuszt’:

[Hungarian King Matthias] entrusted the administration of the Crown’s customs to John Ernuszt, a converted Jewish merchant. Within two years, Ernuszt was responsible for the collection of all ordinary and extraordinary taxes, and the management of the salt mines.

Matthias’s tax reform caused a revolt in Transylvania.

So, I have to ask:

What are the chances that there would be two Jews, one ‘converted’ and one not, working for the same Hungarian king, at exactly the same time, both involved in ‘libels’ with the Hungarian nobels, and both ‘ennobled’ at a time when very few commoners – never mind Jews – were being ennobled?

And not only that – there are no records of ‘Furst von Open’ – the apparent alter ego of R’ Akiva HaKohen Katz.

I’m a big believe in Occam’s Razor.

The simplest explanation is usually the correct one.

And the simplest explanation here is that ‘R’ Akiva HaKohen of Budin’ is one and the same as ‘John Ernuszt of Buda’, the converted Jew whose son became a Hungarian Bishop, and who married a bunch of apparently non-Jewish women.

Ad kan, from last year.

Since then, there’s been a lot of additional information flowing down the pipe of ‘Real Jewish History’, not least, the recent revelations about the Khazar royal family being i) probably Karaite converts and / or partially descended from Sadduccee-Karaites (i.e. ‘Kohanim’ and ii) deciding to unilaterally start identifying themselves as ‘HaKohen Al-Khazaris’.

Ever since I saw that, I’ve had more of an eye open, for where these fake Khazari ‘HaKohens’ might have ended up, in the Jewish communities of the middle ages.

But let’s get back to focussing on ‘Akiva HaKohen Katz of Budin’, ancestor of the SHACH, and also ancestor of a bunch of two-faced ‘Christian Jews’ including people like Amschel von Schleusingen / Akiva Frankfurter Guggenheim.

And very possibly, one and the same as the ennobled, baptised, John Ernuszt, corrupt Hungarian tax collector extraordinaire.

Since I wrote this article, I have tripped across a few other ‘Christian-Jewish’ families – all court Jews, who held very high positions in the non-Jewish world.

They were also were usually the ‘Chief Rabbis’ of the Jewish communities, too, so they could enforce the ‘Jew Tax’, and other dictates, that the non-Jewish rulers meted out to the Jewish communities, by fair means or foul.

The OPPENHEIM / OPPENHEIMERS (mentioned above) fit this mold exactly, and it’s on my list to do a detailed post about them, very soon.

And there is another family, too, the FISZELS, that fits this mold too, and also has branches of the family tree converting out to xtianity and getting ennobled – while their siblings become the ancestors of people like the (Sabbatean-Frankist) SHORS, the (alter-ego of Shabtai Tzvi) SHACH, the (Sabbatian prophets and believers including) Mordechai ‘Mokiah’ Eisenstadt and his brother, Meir Panim Eisenstadt – and many other ‘Sabbatian -Frankists’, too, that I’m still in the process of figuring out.

Let’s end this post with a closer look at the FISZELS, and how they also tie-up with the SHACH – because as I keep telling you, these people just marry each other over and over again, down the generations.

The following details come from the YIVO article on the Fiszel family HERE, which I highly recommend you read, as I’m just doing this bare bones to keep ‘information overload’ at a minimum.

Snippet:

The most influential family in Kraków’s Jewish community from the 1470s to the mid-sixteenth century.

Members of the Fiszel family served as creditors to King Casimir the Jagiellonian and his sons Jan Olbracht, Aleksander, and Sigismund I.

Moshe Fiszel and his wife Rachel Moyseszowa , from Prague, are in charge of the Polish Kings’ mint, and also lend them a lot of money, as their official, tax collecting ‘court Jews’.

They have six kids. One of them, (Moshe) ‘Stefan Fiszel Powidzki H. Korab converts to xtianity, snippet from YIVO:

Mosheh (Stefan) Fiszel served as a creditor to kings Jan Olbracht and Aleksander even before his conversion to Christianity.

In 1494, he represented the interests of the Jewish community in their disputes with non-Jewish residents of Kraków, and in that same year he was arrested with other Kraków Jews.

He served as collector of Jewish taxes in Great Poland (1499, 1503) and as director of the salt storehouse in Poznań (1504). In 1499, when the Jews of Gniezno accused him of excessive tax collection, he received the support of the archbishop of Gniezno, Cardinal Fryderyk Jagiellończyk.

After converting to Catholicism (between 1503 and 1504); Stefan was ennobled by Zygmunt the Old, receiving the Korab coat of arms.

His sons Jan and Stanisław also converted to Catholicism; their godmother was Elizabeth, the widow of King Casimir the Jagiellonian. Stefan divorced his wife, who chose to remain Jewish.

One of Stefan Powidzki’s brother is Efraim Fisczel, also known by the xtian name ‘Franczek’. Snippet from YIVO:

Efrayim (Franczek) Fiszel, Stefan’s brother, was appointed in 1512 to the position of general collector of Jewish taxes in Little Poland…

In 1524, Sigismund I (the Old), at [Queen] Bona’s request, named Franczek and his wife Chwałka (Falka) royal servitors, thus removing Franczek from the jurisdiction of any other court but that of the king or, in smaller matters, of the queen. Both were freed from the payment of Jewish taxes.

This ‘Ephraim Fishel’ is one of the most mysteriously ‘disappeared’ ancestors on geni, but his family tree leads to some of the most well known rabbis in the Ashkenazi world, including:

  • The ABD of Krakow, R’ Aryeh Leib Fischeles Kalusziner
  • The ABD of Breslau, R’ Isaac Joshua Heshel Teomim
  • R’ Zecharia Mendel, author of ‘Be’er Heitev’
  • The Chacham Tzvi (via the Sha’ar Ephraim)

And many, many, MANY others, including most of the ‘interesting’ families I’ve been researching for two years.

But the links back to this original ‘Ephraim Fishel’, and his ongoing connections to Polish royalty are all deliberately broken.

For example, the YIVO website tells us this about his son, Moshe Fishel:

Mosheh Fiszel (1480–1541), Franczek’s son, was a physician; he married Ester, who served in the court of Queen Bona.

In 1532, after the death of the kabbalist and rabbi Asher Lemel, he became rabbi of the so-called “Polish” Jewish community of Kazimierz.

In 1541 he was appointed, together with the rabbi of Lublin, Shalom Shakhnah, to be the chief rabbi of Little Poland and Rus’, a post that included the right to excommunicate and judge Jews for religious transgressions.

Soon after his appointment, he was accused of converting Christians to Judaism. He was tortured and died soon after his release from prison.

Personally, I’m not sure that last bit happened.

It’s just way too convenient how all these interesting ‘missing links’ just kind of die a hero’s death, with no clues about who their descendants continue to be in the Jewish community.

So I went looking in Polish, to see if I could get the real story of what happened to Moshe Fishel. This comes from Polish Wikipedia, HERE:

In 1532, Moses Fishel took over as rabbi of the so-called Polish Jewish community, replacing his late uncle Asher Lemel. 

In 1541, he became General rabbi of Malopolsk and Russia, a position he shared with Rabbi Shalom Shahn of Lublin. With the confidence of the King, they were given the power to sue for religious offenses. 

In the same year, Moses Fishel was accused of complicity in a ritual murder, in connection with which he was burned at the stake.[6].

Well.

That explains a lot, doesn’t it?

So, the ‘Ester’ who served in the Polish Queen Bona’s court, who marries ‘Moses Fishel’, nephew of the xtian ‘Stefan Powditsky’ – who is burned at the stake after being accused of performing a ritual murder –  turns out to be the daughter of the legendary ‘Eliyahu Baal Shem of Chelm’.

You know, this guy:

Other Baalei Shem include Rabbi Eliyahu of Worms (the founder of the movement variously known as “Macheneh Yisrael”, the “Nistarim”, and the “Holy Brotherhood”), Rabbi Joel of Ropshitz (a student of Rabbi Yoel Sirkis), Rabbi Adam Baal Shem, and Hayyim Samuel Jacob Falk (known as the Baal Shem of London).”

Amazing, isn’t it, how all this just keeps coming together.

We know ‘Hayyim Samuel Jacob Falk’ well.

He’s the demon-commanding, black-magic practising, Order of the Golden Dawn-founding father-in-law of false messiah Jacob Frank.

And now, I’m starting to wonder if his surname ‘Falk’ is a throw back to his ancestors at the Polish court, “Franczek and his wife Chwałka (Falka)”.

(You see what I mean, about every answer just creating 4 million more questions.)

And ‘Eliyahu the Baal Shem of Worms’ – aka Eliyahu Loanz – is also related to another famous tax-collecting Court Jew, namely Josel of Rosheim.

(Josel of Rosheim’s family were also accused of performing satanic ritual murders.… All this is starting to hit very close to home, isn’t it?)

German rabbi and cabalist; born at Frankfort-on-the-Main 1555; died at Worms July, 1636. He belonged to the Rashi family, and on his mother’s side was the grandson of Johanan Luria, and on his father’s of Joselmann of Rosheim.

After having studied in his native city under the direction of Jacob Ginzburg and Akiba Frankfort, Loans went to Cracow, where he attended the lectures of Menahem Mendel.

While there he prepared for publication the “Darke Mosheh” of Moses Isserles. At the beginning of the seventeenth century Loans was called to the rabbinate of Fulda, which he left in 1612, occupying sucessively the rabbinates of Hanau, Friedberg (1620), and Worms (1630), in which last-named city he remained until his death.

That ‘Akiba Frankfort’ appears to be the same guy we started off with, at the top of this post, viz:

‘Amschel von Schleusingen’ had a double identity, and was known as ‘Akiva Frankfurter Guggenheim‘ within the Jewish community.

His two wives were both ‘Gunzburgs‘, and I also just learned that Akiva Frankfurter Guggenheim’s ancestor was ALSO R’ Akiva HaKohen Katz of Uban – who the SHACH also descends from. It’s also possible that Amschel von Schleusingen is Akiva Frankfurter’s brother, not his alter ego.

Before I forget, ‘R Moshe Yehuda Ashkenazi (Fishel’s)’ son, EPHRAIM FISHEL,  marries VALENTINA – the daughter of the MaHaRSHaL, R Shlomo Luria.

(I don’t know if that happened before or after his dad is burned at the stake after being accused of participating in ritual murder, but that kind of explained why he got scrubbed out of history…)

And all of a sudden, we are back deep, deep in the heartland of Ashkenazi ‘rabbinic royalty’.

Another of Stefan Powditzki’s siblings, Esther, marries Rabbi Yaakov Pollak (1460-1552).

Pollack’s widowed mother-in-law was a rich and famous woman… [i.e. Rachel Moyzeszowa].

She married her second daughter, who was still a minor, a Talmudic scholar David Zener. Regretting this step, she wanted the marriage to be annulled; but the husband refused to allow the divorce, and the mother, on Pollack’s advice, sought the dissolution of the union by filing a refusal ( mi’un ) on the part of the wife, allowed by Talmudic law . 

Menachem of Merseburg a recognized authority, however, decided half a century ago that a formal letter of divorce was necessary in such a case, although his opinion was not supported by Eastern rabbis. So when Pollack declared his daughter-in-law’s marriage invalid, all the rabbis Germany they protested and even excommunicated him… until he obeyed Menachem’s decision.

Pollak’s main students are Shalom Shakhna of Lublin – his suspected Karaite brother in law – and Maharam of Padua, grand-dad of ‘King of Poland for a day Saul Wahl ‘.

Yaakov Pollak and Ester Fiszel have at least three children.

One, R’Avraham Pollak, ABD Lubamla and Brisk marries SARAH LURIA – the daughter of the MaHaRSHaL.

We keep coming back to the MaHaRSHaL.

Remember this snippet from the previous post, on the connections between ‘Saul Wahl King of Poland for a day’ and the story told about the SHACH’s daughter, Esther HaTzaddika?

Another of their kids has a very convoluted family tree, that eventually leads down to Moshe Kremer, the ABD of Vilna and the ancestor of the Vilna Gaon.

And then another of Esther and Yaakov Pollak’s kids, ‘Chana Yonah’, marries none other than the (suspected Karaite) Chief Rabbi of Lublin,

Shalom Shachne (HaKohen) Kahana (Cohen Tzedek) of Lublin.

His daughter Golda marries R’ Moses Isserles, the REMA.

While his son, R’ Israel Shachna (aka ‘R’ Yisrael Charif of Lublin’) leads down to the extended SHOR clan, many of him were leading lights in the Frankist-Sabbatean family network – and also the ancestors of the Alter Rebbe of Chabad.

And you remember just how enthusiastically the Rebbe Rayatz was bigging-up all these ‘alternative Baal Shems’ (who happened to be conjuring demons…) in his memoirs, of course.

So where does the SHACH fit into all this?

The REMA’s third wife, mother of most of his kids, SHPRINTZE, descends from R’Chaim.

The SHACH descends from R’ Naftali Herz.

One of the SHACH’s wives (he had two – same as is said of Shabtai Tzvi, before he became the ‘false messiah) was Yenta Leah Wolf Meisels – the g-g-grandaughter of the REMA, like this:

REMA > DREIZEL ISSERLES marries SIMCHA BUNIM MEISELS, ABD CRACOW > LEAH BUNIM MEISELS marries R’ ISAAC WOLF BUNIM MEISELS of VILNA marries SARAH EIDELES> YENTA LEAH WOLF MEISELS marries the SHACH.

Just one, big, happy family!

I think I just tripped over the real identity of the ‘Falka’ / Chwalka who marries Ephraim Fishel, brother of xtian Stefan Powdiszki.

And whaddya know?

It’s yet another ‘Christian Jew’ with royal connections.

But I’ll keep that story for a future blog, there’s plenty enough to chew over in this one.

Hopefully, you are starting to see that IF the SHACH = Shabtai Tzvi, that didn’t just blossom out of a total vacuum.

The very small ‘core’ of our leaders in the Jewish world for at least the last 5-600 years literally pop in and out of xtianity, enrich themselves by oppressing the poor with taxes and other forms of financial corruption, and have been dabbling in demon-worshipping black magic and possibly also ritual murders…

Doesn’t this start to explain – a lot!!! – about what we are seeing in our world today?

Doesn’t it also start to explain so many of the ‘mysteries of Jewish genealogy’ – which we are really starting to clean up here, in an awesome and disturbing way?

And finally – doesn’t it explain why God has actually been totally justified in His treatment of the Jewish community, over the last 2,000 years +?

(Which also includes ‘sins’ we did in previous lives, that we are now being reincarnated in order to pay down, even if we’re totally upright and pious in this lifetime.)

And God is truly righteous and merciful in all His ways.

And more and more, it’s looking like we may have actually got off easy, even with all the suffering we’ve endured down the last 2,000 years, when we start to understand just how ‘unholy’ Jewish life may actually have been, up until now.

Dear Rivka, Are you familiar with the book by Rabbi Yehuda Fetaya – Minhat Yehuda?

This contains a large part about Ezekiel 37. The Rabbi told in this section about contacts he has with souls of the deceased. The Rabbi is in conversation with a certain Bechor, and indicates that the soul that speaks through him first says that he is David, the son of Shabbatai Zevi, but a little later he says he is Zevi himself!

Rabbi Fetaya then has a long conversation with him from many pages.

Below I display a short part from the book, translated by Avraham Leader, edited by Yehuda Herskowitz – Mechon Haktav Jerusalem 5770-2010.

Rabbi Fetaya: I asked  him more questions, and I am writing only the answers, since the questions will be obvious by the answers, and these were his answers:

I am Shabbetai Zevi

He died by strangulation.

He did not repent and was buried in a gentile cemetery.

When he was alive, the husks would appear before his eyes.

The reason he became wicked was because he was not conceived in holiness.

He was reincarnated in countless numbers of reincarnations.

He merited a psyche and a spirit, but when the soul began to flicker within him, what happened happened.

Now he concedes that Moses, our teacher, of blessed memory, was true, that his prophecy was true and that his Torah was true, but these words of his have no effect, since once a person has died he is exempt from the commandments [Shabbat 30a].

His reward for fulfilling the commandments is already credited to another righteous man.

The reason he speaks within the heart rather than through the mouth is because the aforesaid Bechor studies Torah, by means of which he subdues the spirit within him and causes it pain. This is why the spirit interrupts his studies and communicates to him foreign thoughts.

(He lied to me concerning this, because even though being occupied with Torah subdues the evil spirit, it does not cause the spirit to speak within the heart rather than through the mouth. Proof of this is that in the year 5675, a thirty-five year old maiden who was blind in both eyes came to see me. A sage who had lived in my lifetime who I knew and recognized, had become reincarnated in her. Although she was blind and did not study Torah, he spoke within her heart but not through her mouth.

During his lifetime, this sage had a questionable reputation. Now, too, he attempted to seduce the said maiden to behave promiscuously with another sage and told her that the Messaiah would be born from their Union, but she did not listen to him. After a number of unifications and efforts I managed to determine that it was indeed that infamous sage.

It became known to me that when they bathed his corpse [i.e. the corpse of the Sage], they noticed a tattoo on his heart resembling a cross.

The actual reason he [i.e. the Sage who was known to R’ Fetaya] did not speak through the mouth was so that he would not be recognized by the people and be ridiculed and mocked. See Sha`ar Hagilgulim, preface 22, 22a, where he writes:

These incarnations which possess people occur in one of two ways.

The First are the souls of the wicked, who have not merited entering hell after death. They enter the bodies of people who are alive in this World and recount all that has befallen them there, may the Merciful One deliver us. The second relates to their impregnation in a person, in accordance with the secret of Pregnancy, as previously mentioned in former discourses, and they cling to him very secretively.

Therefore, if that person sins, the soul impregnated in him overpowers him, causes him to sin and incites him down an evil path, etc.

See there. It could be that when the master wrote: they cling to him very secretively, it is for the reason we have already cited, so that they not be recognized and made a mockery by the people. Now, then, let us return to our tale [of Shabtai Tzvi.)

His spirit has been reincarnated in the aforesaid Bechor, but his psyche still resides among the beasts of the forest.

He would like to leave this place, never again to enter the body of a Jew, and go the forests.

He was thirty-five years old when he died. (Actually he was fifty, see Encyclopedia Judaica, Shabbetai Zevi.)

I asked him other questions, but he would not reply. All he told me was that he was presently enclosed with the Other Side, in a the thickness of approximately one cubit.

Five days later I spoke to him again, very gently, and I saw that he was subdued. He was bemoaning his transgressions. He entreated me exceedingly to effect a rectification for him, and blessed me and my family with many blessings. He said that in order to honor me he would speak only the truth.

The beginning of his downfall was when he sinned with  a married woman, and what I heard is true; he fornicated with a male while wearing a prayer shawl and phylacteries.

He also sent a young man to be with his own wife Sarah and explicitly commanded him, saying, “Whatever Sarah tells you, obey her.”

His beating in the grave lasted twelve years.

Until now he had been reincarnated in the beasts of the forest. This was his First reincarnation in a person, in the aforesaid Bechor.

The reason for having entered him was that he had kissed a Young girl when he was a young boy. It was now thirty years since he had entered him. Beforehand, he had circled around Bechor`s head, because he was from the same root (as written in Sefer Halikutim, Jeremiah 8:13:

What I gave them will pass away, (I will give them spirits) that will pass into a body that is close to them, according to the hidden meaning of: “Either his uncle or his cousin shall redeem him etc.” [Leviticus 25:49].

On account of the aforesaid kiss, he entered him.

He was condemned to be with the Nazarene in boiling feces from the second hour until the fourth and a half hour of Friday.

Lots of interesting things to pick up here.

Firstly, that Shabtai Tzvi partially shared the same punishment as Yoshki in gehinnom, being boiled in feces together – but only for 2 1/2 hours on a Friday.

And also, that he sinned because he was conceived in impurity.

I have a lot of stuff I’m currently going through about the SHACH’s ancestors, and a lot of surprising information to share with you on that score, too, but we’ll keep that for another post.

But the thing that really stood out for me was that reference to:

David, the son of Shabbatai Zevi

I have been reading through Sabbatean history for months and months, but so far, I haven’t come across any other references to ‘David, the son of Shabbatai Zevi’.

I still have 100 pages left to go in Gershom Scholem’s oeuvre, so maybe he’ll turn up there, we’ll see.

But in the meantime, in one of those strange strokes of serendipity, just before I got sent this email, I tripped across another family tree for the SHACH on geni that looks like this:

Number 1 is next to R’ Moses Isserles, the REMA.

I have actually been combing through the tangled knots of his family tree for quite a while now, as his family tree is at the heart of so many of what became the Sabbatean-Frankist network.

I will do a separate post on him soon, BH, but I’ve already found grandchildren for the REMA who appear to be Polish xtians, possibly related to Polish nobility.

And that’s only a bit of what I’m discovering.

That’s when I recalled that I’d done a family tree a long time ago, when I was trying to figure out more of the tangled relationships around the SHACH, forwards and backwards, where I’d had a lot of question marks about what was going on with ‘Dovid Kasvan / Katvan’.

In that ‘other’ family tree, which you can see HERE, ‘David Katvan’ is meant to be the SHACH’s son-in-law, married to a daughter ‘Toyba’ or ‘Tova’.

Toyba / Tova’s other husband is an ‘Aharon Mi-Geza Tzvi’.

It’s that surname again.

So, which version is correct?

‘David Katvan’ the Shach S-I-L version says that his father is one ‘Yitzhak HaLevi Katvan of Prague‘ – and then he’s connected to nothing and no-one else after that.

At this stage, that always strikes me as invitation to dig deeper, especially as we’re dealing with a prominent, wealthy individual here, described in the Pinkas of the Zolkiew chevra kadisha as follows:

“[T]he leader of the province, officer, the head, sir, the wealthy.” [Rosenstein. The Lurie Legacy.]

Here’s the text that is brought to support that version of David Katvan’s family tree:

Meanwhile on the other side, the version that has ‘Dovid Kasvan’ as the SHACH’s actual son, the family tree shows that ‘Dovid Kasvan’s’ daughter marries this Yitzhak Babad mentioned above, the ABD of Brod.

They can’t both be right.

Why does this matter?

If you trace the descendants of ‘Dovid Katvan’, on the version of the SHACH’s family tree that has him as the son-in-law, it goes like this:

DOVID KATVAN > ELLA ANSCHEL marries R’ SIMCHA HAGADOL HACOHEN RAPPOPORT > R’ YOSEF RAPPOPORT > RIVKA marries R’ YITZHAK ITKOVITZ > RABBI CHAIM OF VOLOZHIN.

You probably heard of Rabbi Chaim of Volozhin.

He founded the Volozhin Yeshiva, where so many of the ‘big zionists’ – both secular and ‘religious’ apparently spent some time.

And he’s the ancestor of Shimon Peres.

Amongst many others.

One day, I’ll do a post on the links between the Volozhin Yeshiva, and all the people intimately connected to what became the nascent State of Israel and modern ‘Zionism’, because there are just so many of them….

In case you were wondering, the family tree for R’ Chaim of Volozhin is a total, utter mess.

The progression I set out for you above took me months and months of comparing data to get to, and I have the feeling that in the middle of that whole mess, we will probably find Rebbe Nachman’s grandfather, R’ Nachman Horodenka.

If you remember from THIS post, on Jacob Frank, the data seemed to be showing this:

Rabbi Nachman Horodenka, the grandfather of Rebbe Nachman of Breslov, appears to be the brother of R’ Chaim of Volozhin:

Because all this is so very deliberately convoluted, it could also be that Rabbi Nachman’s father, Simcha, is actually the brother of R’ Chaim of Volozhin. I’m still unpicking it.

But you can see that IFFFFF Shabtai Tzvi = SHACH, and IFFFFF Shabtai Tzvi /SHACH’s son was ‘David Katvan’, why a lot of effort would be put into rearranging the family tree, to try and cover that information up.

Because otherwise, we’d all know that the direct descendants of ‘Shabtai Tzvi’, in the person of Shimon Peres (and probably many others…) are still ruling the State of Israel in our days.

And that Rabbenu, our holy Rebbe, Rabbi Nachman of Breslov, was really the ‘light’ sent down into the midst of all that Sabbatean ‘darkness’ on his father’s side, to sweeten what was happening with his Torah and advice, so we’d be able to get through this ‘Sabbatean-Frankist’ onslaught of the last 200 years in one piece, spiritually.

And it also explains why Rebbe Nachman knew so much about the ‘Jewish Demon Torah Scholars’ in our midst, and why they all tried so hard to shut him up, destroy his teachings, and end his branch of chassidut.

Let’s stop there for now.

I have about 15 more family trees to ‘comb through’ again now, to try and figure this out a bit more.

But slowly, slowly, it’s all starting to come together.

Here’s a collation of the summaries from each section:

Rabbi Shabtai HaKohen, one of the most prominent of all our rabbis, lived in the Latvian town of Prinsk. Rabbi Hacohen is known by the name of his famous book, “Siftei Cohen” – lips of the Kohen – abbreviated as Shach. He was still young when he wrote the book, and it led to his having a reputation as a Torah genius. But he was not wealthy at all. His wife was ill, and after a period of pain and suffering, she passed away. Rabbi Shabtai was forced to take care of his six-year-old daughter Esther, who was also quite ill. His only consolation was in the study of Torah.

He was forced to flee from the Cossacks, and he had to leave his sick young daughter in the snow, thinking she was dead. The King of Poland found her and his physician made every possible effort to revive her. When the rabbi returned a while later he could not understand what had happened to his daughter’s “body.”

Esther was taken in by the King of Poland, whose physicians managed to save her life.

She was raised as a daughter of the king and as a companion for Princess Maria. In spite of great pressure, Esther insisted on maintaining her Jewish faith and on eating only kosher food.

One day, when she was playing with Maria, Esther suddenly jumped on Maria with a scream and dragged her off the bench where she sat – [rescuing her from being bitten by a poisonous snake].

 But she did not feel comfortable living in a Christian home. The people allowed her to eat kosher food, but they repeatedly tried to convince her to convert and become a Christian.

When a fire broke out in the palace, Esther took advantage of the great tumult and ran away. All the people came to the sad conclusion that she had perished in the fire.

At about the same time, her father [the SHACH] also despaired of finding her, until he heard a rumor about a young Jewish girl in the home of the King who maintained her faith. He decided to go there and check if this could possibly be his long lost daughter.

On his way to look for her, [the SHACH] was caught by bandits who threatened to kill him, but he discovered that the head of the gang was a childhood friend, the Polish man Vratislav. The chief told the rabbi how he had reached such a low point in life.

 The SHACH was released, but meanwhile the bandits captured Esther and suggested to their chief that he should marry her.

[The bandits] offered to release her [Esther] to the Jews for an enormous sum of money.

Rabbi Menachem, one of the leaders of the community of Vilna, redeemed her and adopted her as his daughter.

[Esther] eventually married Rabbi Menachem from Vilna.

Years later, the Prince of Poland decreed that the Jews must pay a huge sum of money. Esther went to visit Princess Maria, her good friend, and they had a very emotional reunion after many years of separation. The Prince witnessed their meeting and offered to give Esther a prize for having saved Maria’s life.

In the last part of the story, we are told this:

After a moment of thought, the Prince said:

Esther, my wife’s dear sister, I am willing to give you the fine of one thousand gold coins that I demanded from the Jewish community of Vilna. You can collect the money and do with it whatever you want.”…

Meanwhile, Rabbi Shabtai continued writing his important book “Siftai Kohen,” known by its abbreviation, SHACH. He wanted to print a second volume, but he did not have the necessary funds. He decided to take a trip in an effort to gather contributions in order to publish his book, and he arrived in Vilna.

Rabbi Menachem and his wife Esther were happy to have Rabbi Shabtai as a guest in their home. Of course, the rabbi did not recognize Esther, just as she did not recognize him…..

And then one of the people added, “To the life of our host [R’ Menachem Mann], the son-in-law of the King!”….

Just at that moment Esther came into the room. Rabbi Shabtai looked at her and he gave a great shout. “My own Esther! My dear daughter!” He took hold of Esther and hugged her warmly. “Father! Father!” Esther cried. “Who would believe that I would ever find you! And who would believe that my father is such a famous rabbi!” And Rabbi Shabtai replied, “I am not great. You are the great one! After you spent so many years in the palace and kept to your Jewish faith, nobody is greater than you!”…

Rabbi Menachem donated all the money needed to print Rabbi Shabtai’s book of commentary on the Shulchan Aruch, and the multitudes of Yisrael study this book to this very day.

There is so much to unpack in this ‘story’.

For sure, it’s been embellished by the storyteller, but the basic ‘facts’ are these:

  • The SHACH loses his first wife at a young age.
  • He has a daughter with this wife called ‘Esther’, who somehow gets lost in a forest during the Chmielnicki riots.
  • This daughter is found by the King of Poland, and is quasi-adopted by him.
  • This daughter maintains her Jewishness in the King’s palace, despite being pressured to convert to xtianity.
  • She’s good friends with the King’s daughter, Princess Maria.
  • She escapes from the palace when it burns down.
  • She ends up being ‘adopted’ by R’ Menachem Mann of Vilna – and then ends up marrying him, when his own wife dies.
  • She is eventually reunited with the SHACH.
  • Her husband, R’ Menachem Mann of Vilna, pays to print the SHACH’s book, Siftey Cohen.

How much of this story – that we are basically teaching our children is ‘all true’ – stands up to scrutiny?

Let’s find out.

We’ll start with the easier stuff about who printed the SHACH’s works.

One of my readers sent me this yesterday, from HERE:

Here’s the relevant snippet:

Fundamental commentary and novella on the Shulchan Oruch Choshen Mishpat, by R. Shabse Katz (1621-1662), known as the SHaCH. Published by his son-in-law R. Menachem Manish…

In the introduction to the sefer R. Menachem Manish writes that before his passing, the SHaCH instructed him to publish this sefer, but the printing was postponed due to financial constraints, after which the SHaCH appeared to him in a dream, urging him to print the sefer without further delay.

Includes approbations by R. Heschel of Cracow; R. Yonah Thumim (Kikayon D’Yonah) and R. Sheftel Horowitz (son of the Shelah).

With a poem written by the author in the shape of a star on page 2b.

The year of publication (1663) is referred to on the title page as “Yemei Ha’Moshiach”, as it was printed in Amsterdam at the height of the influence of the tragic episode of the false Messiah, Shabtai Tzvi.

Following Shabtai Tzvi’s conversion to Islam in 1666 and the devastation which followed, many of these original title pages were destroyed.

So, we can see that R’ Menachem Manish was the SHACH’s son-in-law; and did print the SHACH on Choshen Mishpat for the first time in 1663 in Amsterdam – a year after the SHACH is supposed to have died.

And that the year of publication, 1663, is referred to as:

“Yemei Ha’Moshiach”, as it was printed in Amsterdam at the height of the influence of the tragic episode of the false Messiah, Shabtai Tzvi.

And that most of these original title pages were destroyed, after the apostasy of Shabtai Tzvi in 1666.

But now, we have a massive kooshia here (at least, for those people who aren’t agreeing with the hypothesis that SHACH = Shabtai Tzvi):

Gershom Scholem states that the SHACH died in 1664, (the Hebrew year 5424).

And my reader took the time to translate the SHACH’s tombstone to try to verify that statement:

כל רז לא אנים ליה ולא כמון כמעשי
ידי אומן הרב הגאון המפורסם

This carved and sealed stone [this is an expression from Tanach, in a sense of praise)

No secret was hidden from him and it was readily known to him like the workings in the hands of the artisan.
Moreinu and Rabeinu HaRav HaGaon Shabtai Cohen the son of the Gaon Meir HaCohen HaGadol who is anointed with oil

and the death of tzaddikim is capara [and the last word I can’t see properly].

There is no specific date on this very strange tombstone, but Scholem says that phrase:

 שנת היום בא משיח לגאול

alludes to what that year is, i.e. 5424 – 1664.

 ====

As mentioned in the last post, that tombstone is brand new, and is kind of ‘stuck’ on an old grave in Holleschau.

Also weird is why the specific names are ‘whited out’ – the whole point is that this is the tomb of the SHACH, so why make those details, dafka, so hard to read?

It gives no specific date of death for the SHACH, but the date it’s meant to be alluding to is one year AFTER the SHACH’s son-in-law printed his Siftey Cohen in 1663, apparently posthumously, because the SHACH is meant to have died in 1662.

And that allusion to the person buried in the grave being “A jar of mann” also strikes me as strange.

You write something like that – a pun on a name – for someone named….Menachem Mann, for example.

But how is this ‘jar of mann’ meant to be connected, in any way, to the SHACH?

We are going to park ‘Menachem Manish’ for now – but we will return to him probably in another post, as the Baal Shem Tov’s second wife Chana descends from him, and his wife ‘Esther Hatzaddika’ – the daughter of the SHACH we’re taking a closer look at here.

And I just tripped over a bunch more strange links in Vilna, connected to him and his family, that will require some time to process.

Let’s move on, as this is only the beginning of the high weirdness in this post.

Next, let’s try to figure out who the mother of ‘Esther Hatzaddika’, daughter of the SHACH, actually is.

On the My Heritage genealogy website HERE, we find this entry for the wife of the SHACH, Yenta Leah Meisels:

So now, the plot thickens!

You remember in the last post, I brought 4 accounts of Shabtai Tzvi’s third wife ‘Sarah’, who is meant to have also being ‘orphaned’ in the Chmielniki massacres, then raised as a xtian in the home of a Polish noble, before becoming a tart and then marrying Shabtai Tzvi?

I.e., a very similar tale to that being told about the SHACH’s daughter, ‘Esther HaTzaddika’?

According to this, the SHACH’s wife is called Yenta Leah Meisels, (and /or Ashkenazi), and her mother is meant to be one ‘Sarah’, the daughter of the MaHaRSHa, Shmuel Eidels (1555-1631).

That family tree is also a huge mess, with tons of misinformation and ‘discussions’ going on – specifically around this mysterious ‘Sarah’, who seems to have at least two different identities, and at least two different husbands.

We will park this information too, for now, but it’s VERY pertinent to how some very prominent families in the Torah world are directly linked to Sabbatean-Frankist families – and how they covered it up.

(The MaHaRSHa’s grandson is the Megaleh Amukot, Natan Neta Shapira).

So, back to the miraculous tale of ‘Esther HaTzaddika’.

In one of the many discussions at the bottom of the SHACH’s geni profile HERE, one of the contributors tried to research this story further, to see if there was any possibility it could be true.

According to these commentators, the grave of the SHACH in Moravia is shaped like a book, and what’s written on the outside of it is… the story of Esther HaTzaddika.

In Hebrew.

A whole big discussion then takes place on geni, with one commentator saying that the story – even though it’s written on what is meant to be the SHACH’s grave (!) is false, and / or it took place with the SHACH’s son, instead, R’ Moshe of Podhajce.

Here’s a snippet:

My chavrusa is a direct descendant of The Shach…Adopted Princess is true.

It is also standard curriculum, as I understand it in the Bais Yaakov schools.

(Emphasis mine.)

So then one contributor girds his loins to investigate further, and this is what he discovers.

This is remarkable.

If ‘Esther daughter of the SHACH’ was really taken in by Polish nobility during the Chmielnicki uprisings, that suggests that there had to be some sort of blood tie between the family of the SHACH, and the apparently gentile Radziwill family, who were ruling Poland at this time.

Because Polish nobles don’t just take in half-dead, anonymous ‘strays’ they find in forests, regardless of what Bais Yaakov and Walt Disney says.

Where all this is leading us is deep, deep down the rabbit hole of just how ‘Jewish’ most of our leading rabbinic families really are.

And just how ‘Jewish’ so many European royal families really are.

Alt-historians like Miles Mathis (who generally has a very good, fact-based methodology, but who seems to be drawing some wrong conclusions) says that most of the European royal families got ‘invaded’ by crypto Jews.

You can understand why he got that impression.

I’m of the view, at this stage, that the Jewish people got ‘invaded’ by Sadduccee-Karaite-Gnostic-Manichean-Sabians – or whatever their latest ‘incarnation’ actually is.

And that the Swiss Knights Templars, amongst others, are bang in the middle of this whole, hot mess.

But the bottom line is this:

Many of our leading ‘rabbinical royalty’ families have some very deep, very strange links with xtianity, and with royal families, that have gone on for centuries.

According to the Rebbe Rayatz that ‘Prince Johann Cambari’ is really a secret Jew, who wants to return to the Jewish faith.

I tried to track down this Swedish ‘Prince Johann’ from the 16th century, and very quickly, I got to this guy:

John III of Sweden, who was married to Catherine Jagellion.

Alternative historian Miles Mathis has had the Jagellions fingered as ‘crypto-Jews’ who took over a whole bunch of European royal families in a bunch of his research papers.

Let me sum up what I just told you, then we’re going to bring it back around, to the ‘Mary Walsh’ we have in the Queen Mother’s family tree:

> Sir Moses Montefiore’s paternal uncle married Juana Rodriguez.

>Her sister Maria was the mother of Frances Roger Kissane (another crypto Jewish Catholic) in Ireland.

>Frances Roger Kissane married SarahJacob Frank’s daughter.

>And then Juana’s son Moses Augustus Montefiore – first cousin of Sir Moses Montefiore – married Mary Kissane, the daughter of one ‘Captain John Walsh’, who was the son of Yehuda Wolowski Schorr, the son of Elisha Schor.

>Captain John Walsh’s sister was a woman named Charlotte Sarah Jane Grimstead. She was the mother of Charlotte Lyon-Bowes, whose son, Claude Bowes-Lyon is the paternal grandfather of the present Queen of Britain, Elizabeth II.

Or to put it another way, the Lubavitcher Rebbe and the Queen seem to both be related to the infamous ‘Shor’ family.

I  have so much information to sort through at this stage, before I can synthesise it for you in a way that’s hopefully easy enough to digest.

But for now, suffice to say that all these ‘stories’ that we’ve been told about Jewish ‘rabbinic royalty’ in Europe do contain a nugget of truth, mixed in with all the lies.

When King Stephen Bathory of Poland died in August of 1586, a schism immediately arose concerning which branch of the Polish royal family was the true successor to the throne.

Polish law mandated that the throne could not remain vacant for even a short period of time and required that, in the event of a feud, a rex pro tempore – temporary king – be elected.

Nicholas Radziwill was by that time a very powerful force in the government and recommended that the impartial and very reputable Saul Wahl be crowned king. Saul was quickly approved and became “King of Poland for a day”!

Notable descendants of this family include Rabbi Menakhem Nakhum Twersky of Chernobyl, Rabbi Abraham Joshua Heschel, Lord Immanuel Jakobovitz who was the Chief Rabbi of the British Empire, Martin Buber, Karl Marx, Moses and Felix Mendelsshon, Baron Guy de Rothschild and Helena Rubenstein plus many others.

Also, be aware that this story of the ‘King of Poland for one day’ was deliberately made up by one of my husband’s ancestors, R. Zvi Hirsch Edelman (Chen Tov), who was a scholar working at the Bodleian Library in Oxford, in the pay of the Rothschilds.

(He went mad and died in an insane asylum… See? I also have some yichus….)

Why would someone make something like this up?!?!?

We all want to know.

More and more, I think we’re finally on the cusp of figuring that out.

I  have been musing on writing this post for well over a year.

And each time…. I ducked it.

Let someone else open that big can of worms…

But the last few days, I have come to the conclusion I can’t really ‘duck’ these issues anymore, however disturbing we might all find the information.

First, let’s be clear that I am not making any definitive statements in this post. With all the ‘disinformation’, cover-ups and deliberate lies that have gone on to obscure Shabtai Tzvi’s true identity and real connections, the most I can tell you is that this is a working hypothesis, that seems to have an awful lot of circumstantial information that supports it.

If you don’t buy the hypothesis, that’s ok and totally your prerogative.

God gave each of us a brain, and He is thrilled when we think for ourselves.

That said, my soul is becoming very wearied with certain commentators here who just mock me, personally, and seem incapable of discussing information without trying to always prove that everything I’ve written is BS.

As noted above, this is a working hypothesis, not a statement of fact.

There are a number of giant ‘holes’ in the stories of both the SHACH and Shabtai Tzvi, and until and unless more factual information comes to light, all anyone can do is ‘stretch’ the information they do have, over them.

So, feel free to have your own opinion, and even to express that here on the blog – but do it respectfully, and perhaps with at least a modicum of humility that you also don’t know everything.

Ergo – there’s at least a possibility that this hypothesis is more ‘correct’ than the current history we’re all being fed, that contains some ginormous, demonstrable, lies.

And with that, let’s begin.

First, here is my hypothesis, laid out bare bones:

False messiah Shabtai Tzvi and halachic codifier Shabtai HaKohen Katz are actually one and the same person.

How did I come to this conclusion?

Read on.

FIRST, SOME OF THE ‘HOLES’ IN THE STORY OF SHABTAI TZVI:

The false messiah ‘Shabtai Tzvi’ was not born and raised in Smyrna (now Izmir) in Turkey.

The earliest reports of him being in Smyrna are from 1650 onwards – and even then, he was only there for a short period of time before he was ‘banished’ for his strange behavior in shul.

Also, in Gershom Scholem’s book ‘Sabbatai Sevi: The Mystical Messiah, 1626-1676‘, he brings evidence that Shabtai Tzvi could not speak either Turkish, or Arabic, and had to have his brother translate for him, when he was dealing with the Turkish rulers.

This makes no sense, if he really was born and bred in Smyrna (present day Izmir, in Turkey).

Excerpt from pages 106-107 of Scholem’s book:

The name Sevi [Tsvi] is unknown among Sephardim, either as a personal or family name, and is likely that both the name and the family are of Ashkenazi origin. Emanuel Frances [a contemporary anti-Sabbatean] tells us that Sabbatai ‘belonged to an Ashkenazi family that came to live there’….

In the account of envoys from Poland who visited Sabbatai in  1666 [this was the TAZ’s son and son-in-law], we are told that he [Shabtai Tzvi] rebuked of them in German (or Yiddish)…..

[W]e know that before 1666 [Shabtai Tzvi] had no command of Turkish…

Long story short, there is no evidence that places ‘Shabtai Tzvi’ in Smyrna, before 1650, when according to the dates accorded to him, he would already be 24 years old.

In terms of his family, his father ‘Mordechai Sevi’ apparently dies – conveniently! – in 1663, at the same time as Shabtai’s uncle, Isaac Sevi.

This information about his immediate family only showed up, again conveniently, in 1935, and also conveniently, by that time the tombstones of his relatives were claimed to have all been destroyed in World War I.

He has two brothers, Elias and Joseph, who are meant to be traders in Smyrna with connections as commercial agents for the British and Dutch, and maybe, he had a sister too.

No-one knows anything about his mother, or her family.

While ‘Shabtai Tzvi’ was apparently married at least three times before he converted to Islam in 1666, nothing is known of his previous two wives, who he apparently divorced shortly after marrying them.

Then he married a third wife, ‘Sarah’, in 1664, who also has a very strange story, based on the fact that she was orphaned in the Chmielnicki massacres of 1648 onwards, in and around Poland and Lithuania. The following is taken from p 194-5 of Scholem’s book:

“The four accounts which we possess all agree that Sarah grew up as a Christian. In spite of the many fantastic details, the accounts show certain similarities and points of contact….

[1] In Ragstatt’s version, the orphaned girl was adopted by a Polish nobleman.

When she had reached womanhood, her father’s spirit appeared to her, told her that she was Jewish, and commanded her to return to her ancestral religion. Her [Polish] stepfather died, and the family wanted her to marry, but she was miraculously transported through the air to Persia, where her father had fled the Chmielnicki massacres…then to ‘Asia’.”

[The angel that’s transporting her around then tells her she is going to marry ‘the messiah’. Ragstatt was a Jew who converted to xtianity after the debacle of Shabtai Tzvi.]

[2] Leyb b. Ozer had heard from ‘reliable reporters and rabbis, and also from my late father,’ who had seen and known the girl and heard her own story, that from the age of six she lived in a Polish nunnery.

When she was 16, her dead father (who had been a rabbi in a Polish community)…commanded her to wander from one city to another until she found the messiah, who would marry her. She was finally sent to Amsterdam, whither her brother Samuel had fled from Poland.

[3] Baruch of Arezzo [a Sabbatean believer] recounts….she had been forcibly baptised and was thereafter brought up by a Polish noblewoman who wanted to marry her to her son.

On the day before the wedding, her father, who had died two years earlier, appeared to her and gave her a ‘garment of skin’ inscribed ‘She will be the messiah’s wife’.

[She ended up in Leghorn for a few years, and then went to Egypt, where she married Shabtai Tzvi in 1664.]

[4] [In] De La Croix’s account [a French xtian writer]…Sarah was forcibly abducted from the house of her stepfather (who was a famous rabbi) and brought to a Polish nobleman who wanted to convert her….

All sources record rumours about her licentious life.

Shabtai Tzvi himself seems obviously ‘psychotic’.

By turns, he’s ‘illuminated’ and not needing sleep or food, and singing psalms 24/7 while also engaging in his bizarre behaviour that goes against the Torah; alternating with ‘depressed’ periods where he secludes himself and regrets his bizarre actions while ‘illuminated’; and then ‘normal’ periods where he behaves mamash like a pious ascetic, fasting, learning Torah and regularly scourging himself and practising kabbalistic mortifications of the body.

The first concrete reports of this mad behavior are dated to 1650 – and even then, are only given over many, many years later, by a Sabbatian believer and ‘first friend’ of Shabtai Tzvi named Moses Pinheiro.

So for the first 24 years of his life… there are no records of him doing or saying anything crazy.

Shabtai Tzvi is obsessed with another false messiah, aka Jesus.

And also seems to have deep knowledge of ‘xtian’ doctrines pertaining to faith and redemption.

Again, quite a strange thing for a ‘mad Jewish man’ from Turkish Smyrna…

He’s obsessed with avenging the Chmielnicki massacres that happened in and around Poland, from 1648 on.

To the point of even making statements that the only xtian blood that is going to flow ‘once the messiah is openly revealed’ is in Poland and Germany.

He also apparently knows how to speak Polish, German and Yiddish.

But NOT Turkish and Arabic…

There are many, many more ‘holes’ in the official story told about Shabtai Tzvi, but let’s stop there, for now.

And turn our attention, instead, to the official ‘story’ told about Shabtai Hakohen Katz, author of many works including the Siftey Cohen, from whence he gets his nickname, the SHACH.

Here’s the standard story, told about Shabtai HaKohen Katz:

Shabbatai HaKohen was born either in Amstibovo or in Vilna, Lithuania in 1621 and died at Holleschau, Moravia on the 1st of Adar, 1662.

He first studied with his father and in 1633 he entered the yeshivah of Rabbi Joshua Höschel ben Joseph at Tykotzin, moving later to Cracow and Lublin, where he studied under Naphtali Cohen.

Returning to Vilna, he married the daughter of the wealthy Shimon Wolf, a great-grandson of Moses Isserles, and shortly after was appointed to the Beit Din as one of the assistants of Moses ben Isaac Judah Lima, author of Chelkat Mechokek.

In 1655, during fighting between Polish forces and the invading Swedish army in the Northern War, Shabbatai HaKohen fled Vilna with the entire Jewish community.

After a short stay at Lublin he went to Prague and later to Strážnice in Moravia, from where he was called to the rabbinate of Holešov, where he remained until his death in 1662.

While in Holešov, he gained the friendship of Magister Valentino Wiedreich of Leipzig [a christian]. The Shakh′s grave in the Jewish cemetery of Holešov still exists and is visited by people from all over the world.

I went looking for who this ‘Valentino Wiedreich’ was, and I got to an archived copy of the Jewish Encyclopaedia, HERE, that said this:

During the period he was rabbi in Holesov he became friendly with a Christian scholar. In the library of the academy in Leipzig there is a holograph of a Hebrew letter dated Feb. 3, 1660, which Shabbetai wrote “to him whom I love as myself, the philosopher magister Valentino Wiedreich.”

Shabbetai informs him that he has sent him the book of Elijah Bahur and asks him to keep in touch with him (Bikkurei ha-Ittiniy 10 (1829), 43-44)

Doesn’t it strike you as strange, that someone like the SHACH is described as being bosom buddies with a xtian philosopher?

====

Here’s some more basic details, then we’ll start to dig down, into some of the reasons why I believe Shabtai Tzvi and the SHACH are actually the same person.

  • His magnum opus, Siftey HaCohen, is published in Cracow in 1646.
  • He witnesses the Chmielnicki massacres beginning 1648 first-hand, and even writes an historical account about them in a work called the ‘Flying Scroll’.
  • He is an exact contemporary of ‘Shabtai Tzvi’, but apparently dies sometime between 1662-1664 – the year before ‘Shabtai Tzvi’ takes centre stage as the false messiah.
  • He has a reputation for overturning other people’s legal decisions and ‘walking his own path’, this from Wikipedia:

Shabbatai HaKohen was regarded by his contemporaries as more than usually learned.

He frequently contested the decisions of his predecessors, and followed an entirely new path in the interpretation of the Talmudic law. He made light, too, of the decisions of his contemporaries, and thus drew on himself the enmity of some among them, including David ben Shmuel HaLevi, author of Ture Zahav, and Aaron Shmuel Kaidanover, author of Birkhat HaZevach….

So now, let me explain how I even got started on this hypothesis, that Shabtai Tzvi and the SHACH are alter egos.

When I was trying to figure out who Jacob Frank really was, I spent literally days and weeks and months poring over family trees on Geni, and elsewhere, trying to piece together the family relationships of leading Sabbatean-Frankist families, including the Rothschilds, Montefiores, Shors, and Eybshutzs, amongst many others.

Very quickly in that process, I could see that there was a massive cover-up around Jacob Frank’s genealogy, and that while ‘official history’ was trying to make him out as a nobody from Salonika, he was actually a close relative of ‘Jewish royalty’, yichus-wise.

While I’ve made a lot of progress starting to sort his family tree out, I am still going through that process of birur today. But one thing I learnt to spot was the inexplicable inconsistencies in some of the family trees on Geni that always suggest ‘massive cover up happening here’.

And one of those family trees belonged to the SHACH, Shabtai Kohen.

At this stage, over a year ago, I simply couldn’t understand why anyone would be going to such lengths to confuse everything around the SHACH’s family tree – in all directions – so thoroughly, when he lived a full 80 years before Jacob Frank really began his career as the Frankist false messiah.

One day, I was looking at this portrait (below) of the SHACH, when I suddenly heard that inner voice whispering at me:

You are looking at the real Shabtai Tzvi.

This is not something that can be logically explained at all, but it’s happened on many, many occasions that I get these flashes of intuition, that seem totally ‘out there’, and then when I start researching them to see if they are actually credible, they nearly always pan out.

So, when I first heard that little voice whispering at me – I shut my computer, took all my research and ‘family trees’ upstairs, and dumped them in a box for the next three months.

Because at that point, I didn’t even want to start down that path of checking whether ‘Shabtai Tzvi’ and the SHACH could be the same person.

For obvious reasons.

Over the next few months, I had so many arguments, both internally, and also with my husband about what to do about all this; I had so much new information coming out, about Jacob Frank, about the Sabbateans, and about the contours of a wider problem, that suggested the Jewish community had been corrupted from within, for millenia.

Much of it I put up here on the site, but everytime ‘Shabtai Tzvi = SHACH’ stuff started to coalesce again, I’d stop the research.

Because I didn’t want to challenge anyone’s faith in our true Tzaddikim unnecessarily, or stir things up any more than I had to.

====

Long story short, I came to the conclusion this week that I’m not going to have any ‘inner peace’ until I finally get this hypothesis ‘out there’.

I could write reams more about the struggle I’ve had with all this, behind the scenes, but you hopefully get the idea, and in the meantime, let’s move on with the information.

The more I was looking at the SHACH’s convoluted family tree, HERE, the more I realised how so many of the leading Sabbatians in Poland and Hungary, who then gave rise to the leading Frankists etc, were directly related to the SHACH.

That includes the Meir Panim, Meir Eisenstadt, (teacher of Jonathan Eybshutz) and his ‘Sabbatean-prophet’ brother Mordechai Mokiach, amongst many others.

That didn’t really make a lot of sense, if ‘Shabtai Tzvi’ was a native of Smyrna, and lived and died with his hard-core followers in Turkey.

BUT, it made way more sense, if the SHACH = Shabtai Tzvi.

Next, I kept tripping over descendants and relatives of the SHACH with the strange surname ‘Mi Geza Tzvi’ – which translates as ‘from the root of Tzvi’.

This was often shortened to ‘Mi Geza’, so initially I was translating it as ‘from Gaza’ – which was a weird enough surname in itself, for a guy who apparently lived his whole life in and around what is now Poland – until one day, I tripped across the full version of Mi Geza Tzvi.

From the root of Tzvi.

Why would the SHACH’s descendants be called ‘from the root of Tzvi’?

And then, why would the path between these descendants and the SHACH himself be so convoluted?

Here’s one example, “Admor Zeev Wolf Koch, Of Tcherni Austraha, Of Geza Tzvi.

Here’s a screenshot, of how he’s just kind of ‘hanging’ there, with no parents, and with some very interesting descendants that include the former ABD of Safed, R’ Avraham Heller – whose descendants are still playing a very big role in the State of Israel, even in our days.

(BTW, that ‘R’ Mordechai Wolf Zeev of Karlin’ is the nephew of R’ Levi Yitzhak of Berdichev’s wife, who is also bang in the middle of all the ‘interesting’ family trees I’ve been researching…. It’s a very small world.)

Here’s another example, ‘Aharon Moshe Mi-Geza Tzvi of Brod’, founder of the first chassidic community in Jerusalem (apparently…), screenshot from Kestenbaum, HERE.

This bio comes from HERE:

“Rabbi Aharon Moshe MiGeza Tzvi [1775-1858] was amongst the great Chassidic personalities, and a disciple of the Chozeh of Lublin and the Saraf of Strelisk.

He studied Torah and kabbalah in Brod and then in 1839 immigrated to Israel. He is considered to be the founder of the Chassidic community in Jerusalem and headed the Kollel Chassidim in Jerusalem. He mourned for the destruction of Jerusalem throughout his life and passed away in 1845. His famous will was published in Chernowitz in 1858.”

If you go back to the GENI (distorted…) family tree HERE, you’ll find many ‘Mi-Geza Tzvis’ descending directly from the SHACH.

I’ve screenshotted some of them, below – and let me point out at this stage that’s it’s a common trick that the disinformers pull, to kind of ‘switch yichus’ between the husband and the wife, to throw people off the scent of what is really going on, so don’t be fooled by the fact that the ‘Mi Geza Tzvi’ tag is being stuck on the SHACH’s son-in-law, instead of his daughter.

There may be another theory that explains this satisfactorily – and if there is, I’m happy to hear it – but at this stage, it started to seem more and more likely that ‘Shabtai Tzvi = SHACH’.

The next clues came from the Hebrew Wikipedia page for the SHACH, HERE.

Here’s a Google translated snippet:

During the war between the Polish-Lithuanian Union and Russia, he was exiled from Vilnius [Vilna] when it was occupied by the Russians in 1655 and wandered from place to place, until he arrived in the Austrian City of Halichoi (in present-day Czech Republic), where he was accepted as a rabbi, but died a short time later.

Legend has it that he lost his daughter Hilda in the forest when he fled his home in 1655, the year the Russians occupied Vilnius, and a local king or minister found her, and raised her as a princess, she maintained her Jewish ancestry, and found her father who identified her as his daughter.

I learnt a number of important things from the Hebrew Wikipedia page:

  1. The SHACH apparently wandered around a great deal, incommunicado, before apparently getting to Hollichau and apparently dying there either in 1662 or 1663.

2. There is a lot of confusion about the year he is meant to have died, which is strange because his grave in Hollechau – with a brand new tombstone – should be able to clear that fact up instantly (see screenshot to the left – and I’ll put a close up of this at the bottom of the post, if someone out there can help me decipher it).

3. There is a very weird ‘legend’ about the SHACH losing a daughter named Hilda, who is raised by a xtian as a princess, before being ‘reunited’ with the SHACH.

Last things first: does that strange ‘legend’ about the SHACH’s daughter remind you of another strange ‘legend’, brought above, this time about Shabtai Tzvi’s third wife, Sarah?

(In case you are wondering, I haven’t been able to track down any daughter of the SHACH named ‘Hilda’, in all my searching.)

For Hebrew readers out there, there is another long discussion of this SHACH legend on the Toladot blogspot HERE, where the SHACH’s long-lost daughter is replaced with his sister, Esther Ashkenazi.

(Or maybe, it’s the sister of the SHACH’s wife….)

But either way, this ‘holy virgin’ reclaimed from the non-Jew’s house ends up being the mother of grandmother of the secret Sabbatean the ‘Meir Panim’, Meir Eisenstadt, and his brother, the not-so-secret Sabbatean prophet, Mordechai Mokiach as brought above.

This ‘legend’ about the SHACH just smacks of the same Sabbatean-Frankist lies that now jump out at me from a mile off.

But why would anyone make up such a weird story about the SHACH being reunited with his long-lost sister like this?

(If you disagree with my premise that ‘Shabtai Tzvi = SHACH’, so there had to be a whole lot of shuffling genealogies around to protect all the rabbis directly related to him, whose descendants with Sabbatean tendencies have been running the show in the ‘orthodox’ Jewish community for a very long time. And still are.)

If you go to Esther Ashkenazi’s family tree HERE, you’ll see that all connection with the SHACH seems to be carefully scrubbed off her profile, despite all the evidence linking her directly to the SHACH, one way or another.

Why is that?

(Here’s a clue: see all the illustrious rabbis that she’s ‘officially’ connected to, both up and down the line, and then start to understand why such a magnificent cover-up of who Shabtai Tzvi really was had to happen, after it all went so spectacularly sour.)

The next clues came from Gershom Scholem’s book, Sabbetai Sevi: The Mystical Messiah, 1626-1756.

I still have 200 pages to go, and this ‘hypothesis’ is still a work in progress, but here’s a few of the things that I took from that book (so far, with lots more still to come.)

  1. A physical description of ‘Shabtai Tzvi’ as being physically tall and imposing, having a ‘swarthy appearance‘ and black, rounded bead, – together with the only contemporary, accurate sketch of him (on the left.):

2. Shabtai Tzvi is described as only starting his ‘manic-depressive’ stage in 1650 – i.e. two years into the Chmielnicki massacres in and around Poland and modern-day Lithuania.

This date is very meaningful, as we’ll see below.

3. He is expelled from Smryna by the Jewish community sometime between 1651-1654.

And then spends the next few years wandering around in obscurity, before popping back up in Jerusalem and Egypt, and couple of years before he began his career as a ‘false messiah’ in earnest.

4. Something very profound happens to ‘Shabtai Tzvi’ in 1648 – the date the Chmielnicki massacres begin, in and around Poland.

This excerpt comes from p 136 of Scholem’s book:

“When he [Sabbatai Sevi] passed through Aleppo, he told us… how in the year 1648 the Spirit of God descended upon him one night while he was walking at about two hours distance from the city in solitary meditation, until he heard the voice of God speaking to him, ‘Thou art the savior of Israel, the messiah, the son of David, the anointed of the God of Jacov, and thou art destined to redeem Israel, to gather it from the four corners of the earth to Jerusalem….’

From that moment on, he was clothed with the Holy Spirit and with a great illumination; he pronounced the [ineffable] name of God and performed all sorts of strange actions as seemed fit to him by reason of the mystical tiqqun intended by them. Those who saw him did not understand his actions, and in their eyes he was like a fool.”

Before I bring the last bit of stunning info, for this post at least, I just want to bring you the strange statement that Scholem makes about the gravestone of the SHACH, in his book on Shabtai Tzvi.

Excerpt from page 559:

[N]one of the numerous known inscriptions on tombstones from the years 1666 in the cemeteries of Frankfurt, Vienna, Hamburg and Prague make any reference to the advent of redemption, though earlier tombstones speak eloquently of messianic expectations.

Here, Scholem brings just one example – the tombstone of the SHACH, where he says this:

In 1664, the rabbi of Holleschau in Moravia, the renowned Talmudic scholar R. Sabbatai Kohen… died, and his epitaph gives the date of his demise as ‘the year MESSIAH SON OF DAVID’ (numerical value in Hebrew, 424′.)

Apart from the strange CO-INC-ID-ENCE, also notice that each time there is talk of the SHACH’s death, no-one can keep the year straight.

And so, to the last bit of information that turned up just yesterday, and that I find totally stunning, to be honest.

It comes from the Otzar Forum, in Hebrew, HERE, where I found a discussion of the following story, involving the SHACH, messianic expectations for 1648, and the same sort of ‘deal’ that I first heard about in connection with R’ Eliezer Berland, R’ Dov Kook, and the murdered Baba Elazar, back in 2016.

(If you have no idea what I’m talking about, go and read THIS first, entitled: The Deal: How three of our biggest Tzaddikim took it upon themselves to save Am Yisrael from the harshest Divine judgments.)

And I heard in the name of our teacher, the Gaon and Rabbi Isser Zalmen Meltzer, ztzl, that there is a continuation to the subject under discussion.

And that this is that after his conversations with the Sitra Achra, that was undertaken by the great kabbalist Rabbi Shimshon, ztzl, he asked a ‘dream question’ [i.e. a question to be answered via a dream from Heaven] that would reveal to him from shemayim what he should do, in order to rescue his people from the awful gezirut of 1648-9.

And so, he recieved an answer to his ‘dream question’, and was responded to thus:

“That if two of the Gedolei HaDor would agree to sacrifice themselves, and to return their souls to HaKadosh Baruch Hu before their time [in the aspect of ‘the death of tzaddikim atones’ – Tractate Yoma 42a; and see ‘Gur Aryeh’, Vayikra 17a, ‘After the death of the two sons of Aharon’….] it would cancel the gezirah.”

R’ Shimshon said to himself then, that he was prepared [to sacrifice himself – i.e. that he knew himself to be one of the Gedolei HaDor], and he approached the SHACH, [the second Gadol HaDor, of that time period], and asked him to be prepared to sacrifice his soul, and to pass away from the world before his time, in order to sweeten the gezirah.

And the SHACH responded to Rabbi Shimshon that he needed to think about the matter, and promised him an answer within two days.

When two days had passed, the SHACH said to R’ Shimshon, ztzl, that he was prepared to partner with him in this matter – but on condition that he would be given another three months of time.

And when R’ Shimshon asked the SHACH about the meaning of this – because each day, there was an increased quadruple curse [upon the nation?], of killings and murders and persecutions and waves [of violence] – (i.e. the decrees of 1648-9 were the most violent that the sons of his people ever suffered) – and why should we wait such a long time, in such a situation, when each day there were murdering hundreds more of our brethren, God should have mercy?!

The SHACH answered R’ Shimshon, and these were his words:

“I need another three months in order to finish writing my commentary, the Siftey Cohen – [the SHACH’s commentary on the Shulchan Aruch.]”

When three months had passed, the SHACH completed his commentary on the Shulchan Aruch, and R’Shimshon and the SHACH passed away from the world, and the decrees of 1648-9 were cancelled.

And the gaon and rabbi Isser Zalman Meltzer, ztl, asked how can we understand the behavior of the SHACH, that he gave evil another three months to murder and persecute…. and everything just in order for him to add to his writings a few more chiddushims and clarifications? This is a ‘SHACH’ that is very hard to understand!

The author of the ‘Even HaEzel’ (i.e. Isser Zalman Meltzer) continued with awesome words…..[that the SHACH reckoned that] the chances of Am Yisrael to come through the decrees of 1648-9 [were small], but without the [merit of the] commentary of the SHACH on the Shulchan Aruch, the decrees of 1648-9 would have been many times worse, than they were with the commentary of the SHACH.

There is a lot of discussion about this story, including a PDF of the source document for the story, on the Otzar forum HERE.

The ‘R’Shimshon’ in the story is Rabbi Shimshon of Ostropoli, who did die a martyr’s death in 1648.

For the purposes of this post, here’s a couple of things to point out:

  • The story can’t have happened as described, as the SHACH completed his commentary in 1646, and according to conventional history, he only passed away sometime between 1662-1664.
  • Isser Zalman Meltzer (1870-1953) was a big ‘religious zionist’; and his original surname was ‘Eisenstadt’, which suggests he could belong the SHACH’s wider family, descended from the SHACH’s sister via the known sabbateans Meir Eisenstadt and Mordechai ‘Mokiach’ Eisenstadt.
  • I.e. – this is a ‘family history’, intended to justify the SHACH’s lack of mesirut nefesh for Am Israel.

Back on the Otzar forum, we discover there are different versions of this story, including this one:

And by the way, it is accepted that before the riots of 1648-9, three tzaddikim  received a message from Heaven that if they would agree to pass away al Kiddush Hashem, then they would atone for the children of Israel.

And each of the tzaddikim would atone for a third of the nation of Israel.

And these were the three elders:

  • Rabbi Shimshon of Ostropoli,
  • Rabbi Natan of Nemirov, and
  • The SHACH – [Shabtai HaKohen]

Rabbi Shimshon and Rabbi Nathan accepted this upon themselves, and they were killed al kiddush Hashem.

And the Shach argued that he still needed to compose his essays, and indeed a third of all Israel were murdered al Kiddush Hashem [in the Chmielnicki massacres of 1648-9].

Hashem should avenge their blood.

For the purposes of this post, and my hypothesis that the SHACH = Shabtai Tzvi, this story provides a strong explanation, for why someone like the SHACH could have lost his mind to the point of ‘devolving’ into false messiah Shabtai Tzvi.

Imagine: you are told by one of the leading tzaddikim of the generation, that if you agree to die al kiddush Hashem, you will avert the looming harsh decrees, and personally save a third of the Jewish nation from horrible death and destruction.

And you refuse, because you’re an ambitious young man who first wants to get his Torah novellae ‘out there’ and known.

And then, you witness the horrible destruction that did indeed occur – the SHACH was a first-hand witness, and even wrote a historical account of the massacres that was published in 1651, in Amsterdam.

And then…. your conscience gives you no rest.

And all that suppressed anger at God for letting it happen, and suppressed guilt from not doing what you could have done to stop it yourself, literally overwhelms your psyche…

And even though you still have lucid, ‘holy’, pious and ascetic stretches of time, increasingly, you escape into ‘messianic madness’, where on some subconscious level you try to ‘force the coming of Moshiach’ – by proclaiming yourself a ‘Moshiach’ –  to rectify the situation, bring geula – and finally give your guilty conscience some rest.

Honestly, doesn’t this sound at least possible?

How did a ‘madman from Smyrna’ win over so very many big rabbis to his cause?

But if he was a rabbi with the stature and learning of the SHACH – who then went ‘mad’ after the destruction witnessed in and around Poland from 1648 onwards – doesn’t that explain a lot?

Doesn’t it make to easier to understand, how this ‘talmudic genius’ could create arguments for antinomian behavior and ‘tikkunim’ that could sway even the biggest kabbalists and most holy individuals?

A month ago, my daughter bought me an English version of ‘The DaVinci Code’ and insisted I read it.

I haven’t read a fiction book for around 16 years – from choice – so I left it to the side. But she insisted… and insisted… and insisted… until finally I realised, God must really want me to read ‘The DaVinci Code’.

So that’s what I’ve been doing.

There’s a few interesting things in there, for my own research ‘in the real world’ – not least that Dan Brown did a fabulous job of whitewashing the true, demonic nature of the Knights’ Templars, and making them seem all fluffy and cute – but the real pay dirt occurred yesterday.

That’s when I decided to look up the words: “Hieros Gamos.”

In The DaVinci Code, the discussion about ‘Hieros Gamos’ – or ‘sacred prostitution’ – comes up as part of a discussion about how the ancient religious cults used the power of this most holy act for their own ends.

You can read a scholarly, and fairly tznius, description of the basic ideas behind ‘Hieros Gamos’ HERE.

The bottom line is that there were two types of ‘sacred prostitution’.

  1. Each bride was required to spend her wedding night being defiled in one of the many Temples set up to the ‘goddesses’, who all had different names but were actually just pushing the same ‘religion’.
  2. These temples also has a group of ‘cult priestesses’ – aka sex slaves – and ‘sacred orgies’ were also a big part of the pagan religions.

(And now, maybe some readers are already starting to make the link between what is described above, and what was going on in Sabbatean-Frankist homes, beneath the ‘pious’ veneer.)

There are very deep spiritual considerations attached to all this.

Here’s a few scholarly quotes, from the above, to give you an idea of what I’m talking about. And then we’ll get down to the eye-popping tachlis – how all this connects to you and me, and the State of Israel, and the battle between good and evil.

“[W]e are talking about a high-level magico-operational ritual….

Mircea Eliade wrote about it this way: “In the most general sense, an orgy is a part of hierogamy. It correlates with the coitus of the divine couple, with the unlimited and ecstatic fertility of the earth… Excess energy is valuable and fruitful in sacred balances. The barriers between man, society, nature, and the gods are being broken; forces, life, and germs are being rotated and transferred from one level to another, from one space to all others.“”

Plain English: All that talk that xtians, and others, have about ‘the Holy Trinity’ is really a warped reference to the union between man and woman, that transforms them into a ‘god on earth’.

This idea is very deep, and once you really internalise what I just told you here, you’ll start to understand A LOT about what is really going on, with xtianity.

The legendary stories of a woman being possessed by a” god”, or vice versa, a man converging with a goddess, are too well known to be retold…

[I]n ancient Egypt, a pharaoh who mystically reincarnated as Horus impregnated his wife to continue the dynastic line of the “divine kingdom”.

The culmination of the Hellenistic festival of Antesterium was a sacred sacrifice, and then the copulation of the wife of the archon king with Dionysus in the temple of Leneon; in Babylon, the hierogamy of the young woman chosen for this purpose was also known in a special wedding room, raised above the seventh floor of the sacred ziggurat tower (“on the other side of the number seven”) – there she was supposed to spend the night with a certain god.

The Greeks believed that the priestess of the temple of Apollo in Patara spent the night with this god on a “sacred bed”.

This is the ‘pagan, evil mirror image’ of our own, very holy traditions, the whole idea of the keruvim, the holy of holies, and our very deep ‘bitul’ to, and dvekut with Hashem.

There is nothing new under the sun, remember this.

So, when nuns talk of ‘marrying’ Yoshki… and when xtians talk about the Holy Trinity… and when gnostic-‘xtians’ talk about how Yoshki was really married to Mary Magdelene, and they had kids, and how ‘mainstream xtianity’ is trying to surpress that information…. while demon-worshipping Knights Templars (and all the other sex-magick based secret societies) are very big ‘feminists’ and believers in breaking down sexual morality….

We understand, again, that really, there is nothing new under the sun.

This started right back in the Garden of Eden, when the evil Lilith ‘split’ from Adam, then enticed him to spill seed for 130 years, leading to creation of all the souls of the ‘demons’ that in our days became Nazis, ISIS – and Covid 19-pushing doctors and ‘rabbis’.

So, what does this have to do with you and me?

Some how, my computer decided to search for images associated with ‘Hieros Gamos’, without me knowing. In a million years, even with a very strong filter, I would not have done that, because it’s literally asking for trouble.

But that’s what happened, and when I was closing down my tabs at the end of the day yesterday, I got to those search results – and here’s what I saw, that blew me away:

It’s the so-called ‘Star of David’, that the Erev Rav ,’Jewish Demon Scholars’ in our midst convinced us was a symbol of the Jewish people, around 300 years ago.

But really?

It’s the ancient symbol of ‘Hieros Gamos’, i.e. the ritual subversion of the act of intimacy, which sends all that ‘power’ to fuel the forces of evil.

And we have this symbol of evil literally atop every synagogue, carved on every Ark of Torah, inlaid on all our tombstones….

Can you understand, just how much they are laughing at the Jewish people right now?

There’s more.

Sharp-eyed readers probably already know the connection between the ‘Star of David’, and the Masons’ square and compass, with the ‘G’ in the middle.

That ‘G’ stands for gnosis, knowledge.

In our Torah, we speak of how a man knows his wife, as a reference to the act of physical intimacy.

In pagan religions, that time when a man ‘loses his mind’ at the end of the physical act, so to speak, is the time when they say he can ‘become a god on earth’.

This is deeply connected to the idea of demonic possession, amongst other things.

Judaism teaches that spermatozoa derives from a man’s mind – his very essence.

That’s part of why ‘spilling seed’ in a wanton way can literally drive a person mad. A  man’s seed contains the ‘spiritual essence’ that could theoretically create another 4 billion human souls. And when that seed is ‘spilled’ – all that ‘soul power’ just goes to the dark side.

Those 4 billion potential human souls are held captive by the forces of evil, which suck all the ‘juice’ out of them, and use that soul power to do bad things in the world.

That’s why Rebbe Nachman of Breslov revealed the ‘Tikkun Haklali’, or general rectification, to be recited after nocturnal emissions.

To fix the ‘sin’ of all this spilled seed, and to elevate those billions and trillions of ‘lost soul sparks’ back to the side of holiness.

That’s why true Breslov, and Rav Berland, put so much emphasis on a man guarding his eyes, and personal holiness.

That’s why, l’havdil, Eybshutz, and the Sabbatean-Frankists, encouraged adultery, wife-swapping, ‘sacred orgies’, homosexuality, and then incest and pedophilia.

There are so many links to make with all this stuff, it’s hard to know what to really write, but let’s make two more connections, and then we’ll leave it here for now.

In Judaism, there are strict guidelines for how the act of intimacy should be performed, including mandating the position of the man and the woman.

In pagan religions, this evil, ‘Hieros Gamos’ / Star of David representation has the woman and man as androgynous ‘equals’, forming a ‘divine Trinity’.

That ‘space’ in the middle of the ‘Hieros Gamos’ represents the Pharoah-nic, pagan, evil idea of ‘man as God’.

I.e. instead of being filled with God, the person becomes filled with their own evil, arrogance and lusts.

Again, all this has very ancient roots.

Remember that the snake told Chava that if she and Adam ate from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, they would become “like God…”

There is nothing new under the sun.

In the meantime, this is what our Torah teaches – the man is the head of the household, the man is ‘on top’, and the man and woman should ‘become one flesh’.

Here’s how that looks:

Remember what Rav Berland and Rebbe Nachman teaches about these ‘diamonds’?

This snippet comes from HERE:

When a person merits, however much they are putting him down, however much they are making him “mah — what” [i.e. nothing, nullified], however much they are making out of him dust and ashes, [as it’s said] “and may my soul be like dust to all” (Amidah prayer) — they are throwing diamonds onto you.

The Rebbe brings in [Likutey Moharan] Torah 277, [that they are] throwing diamonds onto you.  When they are putting you down, they’re throwing diamonds onto you — don’t throw them back.

[If] they insult you, and you insult them back, you’ve lost a diamond.  They’re building a house of diamonds for you [from all the insults and put-downs].

This is the authentic, Torah-true, Jewish holy way of bringing God down into the world.

The man makes himself ‘nothing’ – and particularly in the home, where believe me, the diamonds get thrown at the guy every second of the day.

And this is how we really build the holy Temple, and really achieve that ‘union’ with Hashem in this lowly, gashmiut world.

By making ourselves nothing.

By hearing our own disgrace, and not answering back, and understanding that really, it’s just God who is behind everything.

This is the polar opposite of the gaava-dik ‘man as god’ approach of the pagan-xtians, represented by ‘Hieramos Gamos’ and the pagan, so-called ‘Star of David’.

The last thing, for now, has to do with the mysterious ‘Z’ on Russia’s tanks.

As I’m hoping you are starting to understand, these people are ALL about their symbolism.

 

For example, the double chevron is a favorite symbol of the Knights Templar, and is all over their castles and churches.

(Again, I don’t agree with a lot of his ideas, but much of what he says strikes me as credible. This is a process of birur, remember.)

You see these chevrons all over the place in Israel, on IDF uniforms – same as other militaries all over the world.

Once you understand that it’s a phallic representation of two men, you start to understand a lot more.

Notice the two knights on one horse.

Also notice the ’round Templar church’ – modelled on the Dome of the Rock, and taken as the blueprint for Templar churches all over the world.

Round temples were always associated with pagan practices, particularly ‘sacred prostitution’ and ceremonies like the Hieros Gamos, which required an audience – and a large, empty ‘space in the middle’, as the focal point.

What does all this have to do with the Russian ‘Z’ on all their tanks?

THIS site (Google translate from Russian) has some interesting ideas – but again, all this needs very careful birur.

But what struck me is that this ‘Z’ is the symbol for ‘man’ and ‘woman’ back-to-back – i.e., back to that state that the pagans believe was the ‘perfect state of humanity’ in the Garden of Eden, before demonic Lilith was split away from Adam HaRishon – and humankind was androgynous.

Is it credible that the Megaleh Amukot was really a secret xtian?

(You can read Part 1 HERE)

In the last post, I brought some lengthy snippets of some correspondence penned around the 1770s, by one Simon Ashkenazi, a secret ‘Jew for Jesus’ within the Moravian Jewish community, who spoke of a secret society of similar ‘Jews for Jesus’ operating out of Amsterdam.

In that text, this ‘Simon’ states that the modern ‘Jews for Jesus’ movement basically started with Jonathan Eybshutz’s great-grandfather, Natan Nata Spira, aka the Megaleh Amukot.

That’s a very explosive claim to make.

But does it stand up, in the real world?

Let’s find out.

At the end of that document, which you can read for yourselves HERE, orthodox Jewish historian Sid Leiman adds in a number of notes, on the factual accuracy of the information.

Here’s a quick run down of what he says:

  • In 1988, historian Yehuda Liebes noted that the Megaleh Amukot died long before 1680, and so couldn’t have been the founder of this Jewish-xtian sect in Amsterdam.
  • Liebes identified this sect as ‘Sabbatian’ instead – and Leiman apparently concurs with this opinion.

Snippet:

Essentially, he argued that when the sect became disillusioned with Sabbatianism, especially with the death of its hero—R. Jonathan Eibeschuetz—in 1764, it adopted Christianity.

  • Another historian, Pawel Maciejko claims, “(without citing evidence) that the “Herrnhut documents are a contemporary eighteenth-century forgery.”
  • These documents were found in 1890, around 120 years after they’d been written, in 1890, in the central archive of the Moravian Brethren in Hernhut. 
  • The ‘Jew for Jesus’ Simon identified a number of people in his text. Many of these people actually existed in the ‘real world’, in the time and place he located them. These include:
    • The ‘Rabbi Porios‘ who was meant to be at the deathbed of Jonathan Eybshutz, in the text, is identified by Leiman as follows:

“Almost certainly, Rabbi Porios is to be identified with a disciple of R. Jonathan Eibeschuetz, R. Moses Isaiah b. R. Judah Porios, who served as dayyan (rabbinic judge) of Nikolsburg and was a vigorous defender of his teacher during the Emden-Eibeschuetz controversy.”

  • The missionaries mentioned by ‘Simon’, Burgmann and Latrobe were protestant ministers who were trying to convert Jews to xtianity”

Burgmann had served as a missionary to the Jews in Amsterdam prior to his assuming the post of pastor at St. Mary’s German Lutheran Church in London in 1768. Thus, it was no accident that Simon of Amsterdam came to Burgmann for aid…. Similarly, Latrobe was head of the Moravian Church in London from 1755 until his death in 1786.

(Ed. note: that makes Burgmann and Latrobe contemporaries of Dr Samuel Chaim Falk, the demon-conjuring Baal Shem of London, who was also Jacob Frank’s father-in-law.)

  • ‘Simon’ mentions one “R. Chayim Ashkenaas” who apparently managed to convert a lot of Jews over to xtianity / Sabbateanism, and then later serves as the rabbi of Kreutz in Hungary. This ‘Chayim’ is also Simon’s grandfather. Leiman identifies him as follows:

R. Hayyim b. R. Jacob Ashkenazi of Prossnitz served as chief rabbi of Deutschkreutz from 1710 until 1748.

(Ed. note: This Chaim Ashkenazi could also be the ‘Haim Malach‘ who was known as a very successful ‘prophet’ for the Sabbatean movement.)

I’m going to quote another lengthy snippet from Leiman again here, because I want you to really understand the import of what we’re being told here:

In the history of the society, we are informed that Simon left Hungary and came to Schwerin in Mecklenburg.

In Schwerin, he met with the chief rabbi on the eve of Yom Kippur and confessed to him that he had secret Christian leanings.

The chief rabbi was sympathetic and advised Simon to visit R. Jonathan Eibeschuetz.

Before taking leave of the chief rabbi of Schwerin, Simon learned that his name was Prossnitz and that he was a relative of Simon’s grandfather, R. Chayim Ashkenaas of Prossnitz.

Here, too, it is possible to check the record books.

The chief rabbi of Schwerin in the 1760s was R. Meir b. R. Jacob Prossnitz,a disciple of R. Jonathan Eibeschuetz. According to R. Jacob Emden, R. Meir Prossnitz was a notorious Sabbatian who belonged to the circle of Wolf Eibeschuetz [Jonathan Eybshutz’s son, and a known ‘Sabbatian prophet].

Indeed, Emden placed R. Meir Prossnitz under the ban in 1766.

  • Leiman believes this document was written in 1773.
  • Leiman doesn’t believe there was an “international Jewish-Christian sect” operating in the 18th century, and so feels it is unlikely that it was being headed up by Jonathan Eybshutz.

I have to say, on that last point I’m really coming to the conclusion that he’s wrong.

But maybe it wasn’t so much an ‘international Jewish-Christian sect’, but more a secret society that combined demonic practices and black kabbalah with an outwardly ‘pious’, Jewish-xtian exterior.

Exactly as we’ve set out at length in THIS article, about Shmuel Chaim Falk’s involvement in Rosicrucianism’s ‘Order of the Golden Dawn’ and the Asiatic Brotherhood.

Here’s some of the pertinent info from that post:

  • Falk’s main backers were the Sabbatean ‘Boas’ family in Amsterdam – the same city where this ‘secret sect’ is meant to be operating from.
  • Falk has close family in both Altona and Hamburg – the stamping grounds of Jonathan Eybshutz.
  • Falk spent the last 5 years of his life on developing a ‘Judeo-Christian Freemasonry’, where Jews wouldn’t be pressured to convert to Christianity – probably identical to the ‘Egyptian Rites Freemasonry’.
  • Falk has connections with Zinzendorf, aristocratic head of the ‘Moravian Brotherhood’ – the same organisation where these writings of ‘Simon’ are found, in 1890. Zinzendorf also creates an antinomian, immoral, totally deviant ‘inner circle’ for his movement called “the German Pilgrim Section or Der Pilger,” which acts very similarly to the Sabbatean-Frankists.
  • While in Hamburg, Eybshutz is connected to: “Elias Artista (Johannes Muller), the Rosicrucian patron of Swedenborg in Hamburg.“

Falk created a “new mystical religion, which would…transcend all sectarian divisions.”

  • Falk and Eybshutz had a ‘mutual adoration’ club going, that was also attended by relatives of Meir Eisenstadt, the Meir Panim. Meir Eisenstadt is explicitly named by ‘Simon’ in his writings as a secret xtian, and known in the Jewish world to have been a not-so-secret Sabbatean.

Snippet:

This snippet is from the letter of one of Falk’s adherents that I quoted HERE, that sets out a few more people ‘connected’ to the Sabbatean-satanist Dr Falk, aka ‘Rebbe’ Chaim Shmuel Falk, the Baal Shem of London:

Afterwards, [Falk] commanded this Moshe and another member of this holy Chevra, Rabbi Yaakov, grandson of R. Meir Eisenstadt (author of Panim Meiros), and they each lit a large candle. Then he commanded that the group enter barefooted into his room, and behold, we saw the holy man sitting on a throne, dressed like an angel…

The godly Kabbalist Rabbi Moshe David, known as Rabbi Moshe Ba’al Shem, wrote a letter to our master Rabbi Jonathan Eybeschutz, the famous Chief Rabbi of Hamburg, and told him all these great things and wonders regarding this holy man (=Falk). So R. Yonasan applied to him the words from the Tikkunim, that Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai said, זכאה דרא דהאי רזי עיתגלי ביה, “This generation is fortunate to have such mysteries revealed.”

The letter continues:

“I am grateful that I have been received into this Brotherhood, who by their piety can hasten the advent of the Messiah…my son, be very circumspect, and show this only to wise and discreet men. For here in London, this matter has not been disclosed to anyone who does not belong to our Brotherhood.”

In one of his footnotes, Leiman also brings some more information about Count Zinzendorf and the Moravian Brotherhood.

There, it says this: [T]he founding father of the reconstituted Moravian Brethren, Nikolaus Ludwig Graf von Zinzendorf (1700-1760), wrote as follows: “We believe in general, that the Time of the Heathen is not yet come. For it is believed in our Church that the Conversion of the Jews, and of all Israel must needs [sic] go before, ere the proper Conversion of the Heathen can go forward.”

Long story short….. so many of the real names and the real facts in ‘Simon of Amsterdam’s’ account actually fit in ‘the real world’, that it’s not so simple to just discount that he was plain wrong about the Megaleh Amukot being a secret xtian just because he got the dates wrong.

It’s not impossible that he was ‘massaging’ the year 1680 – the date of Eybshutz’s birth – to fit his story better about Eybshutz being the prophesied ‘savior’ of the Jewish people. When you are dealing with false messiahs, this type of fake PR stuff is typical.

For sure, there is an admixture of truth and lies in ‘Simon’s’ account, the whole problem here is trying to figure out what is what.

When we add in what we know about Falk, and Jacob Frank, and the Order of the Golden Dawn, the tale starts to become more credible.

So the main question, for me, is this:

Did the xtian world ‘seed’ the Sabbatean movement, by pushing the ‘Jews for Jesus’ idea and handpicking the false messiah Shabtai Tzvi and promoting him all over the place, to get the Jews back to Eretz Yisrael to fulfill their own xtian prophecies about when ‘the end times’ would come?

And then ‘Sabbateanism’, right from the start, was actually just another ‘xtian-zionist’ project?

Or, did the Sabbatean movement grow out of a pre-existing, secret, heretical ‘Jewish-gnostic-xtian’ sect that had carried on within the Jewish community for 2,000 years, and was always looking for ways to subvert Torah-true Judaism from within?

I.e., it was just the continuation of the Sadducee-Karaite-fake-Kohen-Khazars-Erev-Rav?

Or, are the people trying to sabotage the Jewish community from within actually descendants of the Erev Rav – the magicians who left Israel, relatives of Bilaam, the grandson of Lavan himself, who have always been trying to kill and corrupt us?

And then ‘Yoshki’ himself was just one on a long line of ‘false messiahs’ who were actually just pawns for this bunch of evil, demon-conjuring magicians?

I don’t know.

Did ‘HaKohen Al-Khazaris’ really take over the Jewish community?

The person I decided to start with was Natan Neta Spiro, the ancestor of known Sabbatean, Jonathan Eybshutz.

Natan Neta Spiro (1585-1633) was known as the ‘Megaleh Amukot’ after his work of that name.

He’s been on my radar for a while as an interesting person, and one who seemed to have some very funny ideas, to say the least, that predated the false messiah Shabtai Tzvi by at least 30 years.

This snippet comes from YIVO, HERE:

During the eighteenth century, Spira’s name was linked to a putative Sabbatian sect, involving Jews and Lutherans, that was connected to Yonatan Eybeschütz.

Although the sect was established in the 1720s, its writings claimed Spira to be its founder, and maintained that he had received a divine revelation calling upon him to adopt the Christian faith.

Eybeschütz was, in fact, descended from Spira, and indeed was proud of this lineage. But the historical anachronism that ties the lives of the two men has not been sufficiently clarified. Indeed, Spira died 32 years before the birth of the Sabbatian movement.

The problematic connection is not entirely baseless, however, as scholars have claimed that Spira drew a great deal from Christianity and even revived various elements of the Jewish–Christian tradition that are found in midrashic literature.

A historical error may be the source of the mystery: it seems that Natan ben Shelomoh Spira of Kraków was confused with Natan ben Re’uven Shapira ha-Yerushalmi (d. 1667), who left Kraków for Jerusalem and was a kabbalist.

The latter raised money in Amsterdam for the Jews of Jerusalem and made contact there with Dutch and English Christians with millenarian views, who regarded him as the rabbi who would bring Jews to acknowledge the truth of Christianity.

Although Spira died before the rise of the Sabbatian movement and its subsequent Jewish and Christian incarnations, the fact that Jewish, Jewish-Sabbatian, and Jewish-Christian sources all link him to messianism and to Christianity arouses interest, and points to the complexity of the connection between the Jewish and Christian worlds in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries.

So, I was trying to find out more about this ‘Sabbatean sect’ in the 1720s that was linked to both Lutherans and Jonathan Eybshutz, and of course, that’s proving quite challenging.

And it may also be some deliberate disinformation, because if Jonathan Eybshutz was linked to any xtian group, that would appear to have been the Jesuits.

As a young man in Prague, Eybshutz worked closely with the Jesuits, in particular, leader of the Prague ‘Inquisition’ Francis Haselbauer, to put out a heavily – and unusually – censored version of the Talmud in Prague, where all the passages deemed to be ‘heretical’ to xtianity and its founder was censored.

But where this censorship was particularly unusual, is that Eybshutz ‘rewrote’ the offending passages in such a smooth way, secretly substituting his own heretical ideas and opinions for those originally found in the Talmud, that it was almost impossible for a reader to understand which was ‘Jesuit-sponsored propaganda’ – and what was the original text.

Jonathan Eybshutz: censorer of the Talmud printed in Prague, 1728

According to William Popper (Censorship of Hebrew Books pg. 112, citing other sources) the permanent inquisition commission in Prague consisted of three Jesuits, including Haselbauer, not Dominicans.

Popper further writes (pg. 116) that Haselbauer enforced searches of Jewish homes for uncensored Jewish books, which would be confiscated.

Because of the unusually harsh situation, Prague’s Chief Rabbi David Oppenheim did not bring his amazing and famous library to Prague with him when he assumed office in 1702. Instead it remained in the custody of his father-in-law Leffmann Behrends in Hanover….

Under these conditions Rabbi Jonathan Eybeschutz, then a young rabbi in Prague with the title Darshan, obtained permission from Haselbauer to print a heavily censored Talmud.

Here’s a pertinent snippet:

[D]uring his early years, the most important controversy concerning Eibeschütz was not the dispute surrounding his suspected Sabbateanism and the heterodox writings attributed to him but rather the outrage engendered by his friendly relations with the local Catholic clergy and his alleged involvement in the publication of heavily censored editions of the Pentateuch, the Talmud, and the prayer book.

In the eyes of many contemporaries, the damage caused by the appearance of these latter publications vastly overshadowed any harm stemming from the heretical views expressed in Eibeschütz’s kabbalistic works and amulets.

At least some of what people were so upset about is that Eybshutz was deliberately distorting the Talmud to ‘promote’ his own view of a universal ‘one world’ religion that had a lot of similarity with large parts of xtian theology.

Moshe Hagiz was so upset by what Eybshutz was doing to the text of the Talmud, he formulated a request to have the Prague Edition burnt… Not something any rabbi would suggest in that era of mass Jewish ‘book burnings’, without some very weighty deliberation.

One more snippet, but please go and read the whole thing, to get more of a feel for just how ‘anti-Jewish’ some of Eybshutz’s amendments and additions to the Talmud were:

Eibeschütz believed that there was no final, fixed, and canonized text of the Talmud;…

Eibeschütz put himself in the shoes of the ancient sages and saw himself not as expurgating but rather as creating the text of the Talmud.

Remember, Sadducee-Karaites and xtians both shared a hatred of the Talmud, the Oral Law.

Am I saying Eybshutz was a Karaite?

No – but he was a Sabbatean, that’s much for sure.

And the Sabbatean-Frankists certainly carried on and amplified the ‘anti Torah Jews and Torah’ attitude of the Sadduccee-Karaites, and the other ancient Jewish-xtian-gnostic groups that are all hidden in the mist, still.

So, I decided to try and pin-down Eybshutz’s links to the xtians a bit more, and to also start taking a closer look at his illustrious forbears, to see if I could figure out more of these links.

In the process of doing that, I came across this article on the xtian ‘Israel Today’ website:

The first event that we know about happened in a small town in southern Poland, Pinczow (near Krakow), around the year 1680. Four well-known rabbis – Rabbi Krokeffer and Rabbi Sender, both from what is now the Czech Republic, and Rabbi Chaija Chajon from Turkey met with the Chief Rabbi of Pinczow, interestingly called by his people “Rabbi Megalleh Amukkoth” (the one who discovers deep mysteries).

This whole article is about how the xtians basically used a bunch of corrupt ‘rabbis’, starting in the 17th century, to launch what you can basically call the ‘Jews for Jesus’ idea.

Two of my three neighbors in Jerusalem are families of xtian missionaries. One of them even moved here at the height of the Corona lockdowns, when the State of Israel wasn’t letting real Jews into the country….

Again, all these are clues as to who is really controlling the State of Israel.

Back to that weird snippet from the ‘4 rabbis find Yoshki’ article, above.

The first thing to notice is that the timing is totally wrong for the Megaleh Amukot, who died in 1633 – some 50 years before this meeting of ‘Jews for Yoshki’ is meant to have happened.

So I was about to discard this as a credible source…. until I remembered I’d seen something similar in THIS piece by reputable orthodox Jewish historian, Sid Leiman:

Here’s a snippet of the deeper story behind all this:

In 1772, a Jew from Amsterdam named Simon approached Pastor Burgmann of the Lutheran Church in London, seeking, as it were, spiritual asylum. He was knowledgeable in matters Christian and claimed that he had been baptized in Amsterdam by a secret society of Jewish Christians who were outwardly Jewish but secretly Christian.

Simon arranged for Burgmann to enter into correspondence with that secret society. The possibility that an entire group of Jews had converted to Christianity in one fell swoop intrigued Burgmann.

Ultimately, Burgmann referred the matter to the Moravian Brethren, an evangelical and pietistic Protestant community with an office in London.

Readers with sharp memories will remember that we already make the link between the ‘Bad Baal Shem’ of London, (and Jacob Frank’s first father-in-law, Dr Falk, and the Moravian Brethren, or Brotherhood, in THIS post.

Here’s a pertinent snippet:

Falk – and others – fused together the already warped Sabbatean theosophy with high-level Freemasonry rites.

One of the people Falk was in close contact with at this time was Count Nicolai Zinzendorf, who was another of these ‘two-faced’ people.

In one world, he was an upstanding xtian missionary, church leader, and xtian ‘zionist’, who had a big eye on getting Jews to convert….

Then in the other world, he was the leader of an occult group called the Moravian Brotherhood, who wanted to totally uproot society and get rid of all class structures. Zinzendorf’s Brotherhood had branches in Holland and in London, as well as in Moravia.

Moravia was the stamping ground of the Sabbatean Jonathan Eybshutz, and later became a stronghold of the Frankists who retained their Sabbatean-Frankist beliefs, whilst remaining the Jewish community. As we will discover, that was no coincidence.

In the 1750s, Zinzendorf developed a new, secret doctrine for ‘initiates’ to the top secret ‘German Pilgrim Section’ of his Brotherhood, which basically copied the worst antinomian Sabbatian practises of breaking every sexual taboo mandated by the Torah.

You see, how every new piece of information we dig up only serves to confirm the theory?

That’s usually a pretty good sign you are travelling in the right direction, if all the new pieces ‘fit’ the puzzle – and provide solutions for more of the mysteries.

Anyway, back to the first-hand account of how these more recent ‘Jews for Jesus’ apparently got started in the basement of the Megaleh Amukot’s basement, on the day of Tisha B’av.

Snippet:

Then R. Megalle Amukkoth stood up, took the 3 men by the hand and said unto them: “Strengthen yourselves ye men of
Israel, let us not this day mourn, but rejoice for the Lord hath spoken unto us and will redeem us.”

All these 4 men felt a certain joy and called directly upon the name of the Saviour and went in that moment into the cellar where R. Megalle Amukkoth had his מקוה .

There were always 3 witnesses as one of them plunged himself into the water, till after this manner they were baptized….

Here the Church of Christ took its beginning in Israel, without one of these men having ever seen the New Testament.

I’m just going to quote more snippets of this firsthand account of what appears to have been going on in this Jewish-Xtian community centred around the Megaleh Amukot, because the information is astounding:

The baptized were diligent in baptizing and converting their relations and friends, and to receive them into the community of Christ, so that 100 were baptized... They kept to the ceremonial law. Every day more were baptized on their belief of the chief articles of the Christian faith, and hereby it remained a long time.

Particularly in Prague, where so many ראשי ישיבות and many בחורים were, the Holy Ghost wrought powerfully and an uncommon blessing was spread abroad.

Yea, even in Prague and Moravia this pestilence [of these ‘true believers’ being persecuted by the Jewish community] got an ascendency.

They were persecuted, but the Brethren also suffered by it, because they were remarked as having a particular walk and fellowship together, therefore the Jews believed that they were also Sabsazebitem [Sabbateans].

This next snippet is mind-blowing:

It is still to be observed that Rabbi Chayim Ashkenaas, grandfather of our Baruch and Simon, and who was then a youth and afterwards Chief Rabbi of Kreutz in Hungary, and Rabbi Meir Eisenstadt, a friend of the former who was afterwards Chief Rabbi of Eisenstadt, where both of them were afterwards great blessing.

These youths were rescued from the Sabsazebitem and converted to the word of life, and afterwards brought many souls in Hungary to the true faith.

Meir Eisenstadt – the Meir Panim – was a known Sabbatean, whose brother was Sabbatean false prophet Mordechai Mokiach.

The Meir Panim was also one of the main teachers of Jonathan Eybshutz.

R. Megalle Amukkoth in Pintschoff had much blessing in his labor, but did not live long.

At his death (as is known to all the Jews), he said that a child should be born in his family whose name would be יהונתן .
He would bring much salvation to Israel…

But there was a grandson of R. Megalle Amukkoth whose name was Rabbi Nathan. He was in Prague at the ישיבה .His wife was with child in Pintschoff…. But it came to pass that this Rabbi Nathan was converted in Prague, and as soon as he heard of the death of his grandfather and his prophecy, he returned home.

But it came to pass that when he came to Dresden in an inn where was at the same time a real servant of our Saviour, a preacher whose name was Mr. Meysinger.

Rabbi Nathan opened to him the whole secret, persuaded him to go with him to Pintschoff, and in case his wife should be delivered of a son, that he would after the circumcision baptize him. This was resolved.

They went to Pintschoff. A son was born, was circumcised, and baptized by the above preacher and called יהונתן .

This baptised son of R’Natan, the grandson of the Megaleh Amukot, is none other than Jonathan Eybshutz.

Back to the text:

By the endeavours of his Brethren and other circumstances, he [R’ Natan] was called to be Chief Rabbi in Eybeschuetz in Moravia. He accepted the call, sent his family before him, but he died on the road in Poland.

The mother and the boy were very poor in Eybeschuetz. But as the boy was very forward in his understanding, the mother resolved to bring him to Prague to study the Talmud. And to the astonishment of the Jews, he was so very forward that he was able to deliver a very acute דרשה to the Jews in the public synagogue when he was in his 10th year.

All the Jews with one voice said: This is the boy of whom R. Megalle Amukkoth prophesied.

The Jesuits sought to entrap him, but a divine providence watched over him.

At length the Brethren began to converse with him, to lay before him the word of God. The Holy Ghost was active. The Brethren prayed earnestly to our Saviour for him, and they at last found him in his 14th year in such a disposition that they could make it known to him that he was baptized.

[B]efore we treat the present state of the Church of Israel, we must tell how Rabbi Jonathan was appointed and inducted as a teacher and preacher in Israel.

You will easily conceive why Rabbi Jonathan was called to be Chief Rabbi of Hamburg, viz. because his labour was much blessed there to many souls, who were converted and who believed that he would have much more blessing in his old age, but in vain.

Satan, who guided the pen of Rabbi Emden, did much mischief therewith.

After reams and reams of more stuff about how Eybshutz learnt the Lutheran creed, and started baptizing people all over the place – God forbid!!! – we get to this strange segment:

Our Brethren look upon the Society [to convert Jews] established in London as a work of Grace… 

(They then mention the edict of the King of Prussia by which all the Jews who are not worth 1000 Dollars each should
leave his new acquired territory in Poland.

In this part of Poland are 39 Jewish Congregations out of which near 2000 poor Jews will be expelled….Therefore, it is the best time to pay attention to them.)

Our thought was that this godly Society should turn particularly to the Jews in new Prussia, make an address to them.
We believe that it would be with little trouble that we could send 100 or 200 families to the new colonies in America. Propose it to the Society…. 

These Jews have still some months respite. They believe that they shall by means of the Jews here and at London by
means of the Prince of Orange and the King of England to effect something.

The Jew congregation in Berlin have wrote about it to a certain Jew called Frank in London.

The Jews have collected 100,000 gulden to this end.

This sounds like a clear reference to Jacob Frank, son-in-law of the Bad Baal Shem of London, who is known to have had links with the Moravian Brotherhood.

Wow, so much new information to try and assimilate here.

In this post, we’re going back to that ‘Jewish king’ of the Khazars, Sabriel / Bulan, to uncover a few more mysteries.

(Click to read Part 1 and Part 2 of this series of posts, tracing the links between Khazars, Karaites – and Kristians.)

Just to recap, there are at least two versions of the story of how Khazar came to have a ‘Jewish’ king.

The more mainstream story, as brought down in the Kuzari (which was written 400 years after the event is meant to have occurred….) is that the Khazarian King ‘Bulan’ wants to stop being a pagan, for unspecified reasons, so brings a Jew, a xtian, and a muslim to ‘dispute’ with him, so he can pick which religion he wants.

The Jewish rabbi – identified as Isaac Sangari – persuades the King, and hey presto, he converts to Judaism along with his subject.

Isaac Sangari is buried in the Karaite cemetery in the Crimea.

Then, there’s a second story, that seems to me to be more factually correct, based on the letter found in the Cairo Geniza by Solomon Shechter.

That letter, between a Karaite Jew and a Sephardi, basically says that a bunch of Persian and Armenian Jews fled to Khazaria to escape ‘persecution’ from the authorities.

As at that time, the Muslim authorities basically gave the Jewish community leader called the Exilarch the political power to rule over his own Jewish community; and also as the Karaites themselves explain that the ‘Exilarch’ was usually a senior ‘Rabbiner’ Jew – i.e. a Jew who actually believed in the Talmud and the Oral Law, and that they were being ‘persecuted’ for not following it by the Exilarchs –

We can deduce that most if not all of the ‘Jews’ who were fleeing to Khazaria at this time were heretics, of one stripe or another, including a lot of Karaites, but also including a lot of Jewish-Gnostics, and followers of the (demonic, half-Jewish, formerly xtian-gnostic-Jewish) Prophet Mani.

According to this second, repressed story, one of these Jewish heretics, ‘Sabriel-Bulan’, joined the Khazar nobility, then somehow rose up the ranks to become King of Khazar.

And then his Jewish wife, Serach, convinced him to ‘come out of the closet’ as a Jew, at that point, and to make public teshuva.

Of course, if his country was already filled with a bunch of closet Jewish heretics running away from Rabbinic rules in Persia and Armenia, that would explain how overnight, ‘Khazaria’ apparently acquired a sizeable Jewish population.

And it would also explain how the Karaites were such a strong segment of the Jewish community in Khazar, which otherwise doesn’t make so much sense.

Now, let’s see what supporting evidence we can find for both, or either, of these stories – and what else we can learn about was really going on in and around Khazaria, at that time.

EXHIBIT 1: THE GENI FAMILY TREE FOR KING SABRIEL-BULAN

This family tree shows that the uncle of ‘Bulan-Sabriel’s father was none other than the Eastern Roman Emperor, Justinian II.

Justinian II was one of the cruellest Caesars of what we know as ‘the Byzantines’.

Before we get to him, let’s take a step back and try to understand who these ‘Byzantines’ really were.

By the 6th century, the Roman Empire was so huge, it broke in half.

There was the Western Roman Empire, with its capital in Rome, and its popes in the Vatican – which effectively ended in 476 CE, with the sack of Rome.

And then there was the Eastern Roman Empire, with its capital city in Constantinople (now modern-day Istanbul)  – which continued on for around another 1000 years, in various forms.

According to most Western history books, the Roman Empire ended in AD 476, when the last emperor, Romulus Augustulus, was deposed.

Here is where Orthodox Christians will object — the Roman Empire did not fall in 476; only the weak western half did.

In the East, the Empire lasted for almost another thousand years, until the Ottoman Turks captured Constantinople in 1453.

Most modern historians call this the “Byzantine Empire,” but that’s a misnomer used to hide the fact that the empire based in Constantinople was, in fact, the Roman Empire.

That Eastern Roman Empire is known historically as ‘Byzantium’. It set up its own ‘pope’, had its own ecumenical councils, and the Emperors of the Eastern Roman Empire aggressively ‘missionized’ their version of xtianity in the territories it controlled.

Those territories include much of what became Russia and the Eastern European countries.

And that version of xtianity became known as Greek / Russian Orthodoxy.

Now, if you go HERE, you’ll find a really good description of what a blood-thirsty, back-stabbing, plain evil ruler the Emperor Justinian II really was.

Even as a kid, his servants were scared of him, and he had a reputation for torturing animals in barbaric ways.

As an adult, his sadistic personality really came into its own, and he kept his subjects and his neighbors in a state of abject terror with his cruelty and oppression.

Not surprisingly, there was an uprising – and in that uprising, Justinian II’s nose was slit (or cut off, depending on the version) – because there was a rule that someone with a physical deformity couldn’t be the Emperor.

Long story short, Justinian got round this by having a second prosthetic nose made out of pure gold, and staged a temporary come back with the help of the Slavs of Bulgaria.

But then, he turned on the Slavs of Bulgaria, too, and a second coup occurred that saw Justinian and his only heir, a son, murdered in the streets.

Here’s two key points to remember about this psychotic mass-murdering Emperor, who was the defacto ‘leader’ of what we now call the Greek / Russian Orthodox xtian church:

  1. The Greek Orthodox church made this insane mass murderer a ‘Saint’.

2. He made a big name for himself in the church by especially persecuting the followers of the half-Jewish, xtian- gnostic-demon-worshiping ‘Prophet Mani’.

3. He was married to a woman called ‘Theodoria of Khazaria’.

She was a princess of Khazar, and Theodoria’s brother was called Busir, the Khagan, or King of Khazar.

Busir’s children were Barjik Al-Khazari, and Princess Glaven, who married King Constantin II of AbKhazia – what we know as modern-day Georgia.

Barjik’s son is our man, ‘Bulan-Sabriel’, the guy who is meant to have either converted to Judaism, or just come out of the closet as a pre-existing Jew.

If you check back in the Khazar family tree, it seems the Khazar kings descend from:

Mengsen of the Turks (not Jewish…)

and

Chinese Emperor Wen of Western Wei (not Jewish…)

Unless we can find some more Jewish roots for the Al-Khazari family, at this stage it looks to me that it’s more likely that ‘Bulan-Sabriel’ did convert, at least, in some fake, external way, and wasn’t a closet Jewish heretic.

Assuming, of course, that what’s described in the Kuzari is accurate.

And at this point, given how the main ‘Jewish’ protagonist in that story appears to be a Talmud-hating Karaite…. that’s starting to feel like quite a bit assumption to make.

There’s another important detail here that provides another suggestion for how both versions of the story might at least contain some kernel of truth.

King ‘Bulan-Sabriel’ was apparently married to a Jewish woman named Serach Al-Yehudi.

I’ve seen over and over again when researching real Jewish history, that the power-hungry ‘Erev Rav’ heretics in our midst always seem to ‘infiltrate’ non-Jewish royal families by marrying their beautiful daughters to the powerful rulers.

If you pay attention to the women, that’s where the real history comes into view.

Let’s sum up, before we move forward:

  1. There were two parts to the Roman Empire.
  2. The Western part – which is connected to ‘Roman Catholicisim’ – fell in 476 C.E.
  3. The Eastern part – which is connected to Greek / Russian Orthodoxy – only came to an end in 1453, when the Turkish Muslims captured Constantinople.
  4. The Byzantines‘ is just another name for this Eastern part of the Roman Empire.
  5. There were a number of ‘Jewish’ refugees in ‘religiously tolerant’ Khazar in the 8th century, but they seem to have been people who were ‘escaping persecution’
  6. Many of these people appear to have been ‘escaping persecution’ in Persia and Armenia by the authentically Jewish Exilarchs, who believed in the Oral Law, and were trying to enforce the Torah’s rules – i.e., the refugees in Khazaria were Jewish heretics.
  7. These ‘Jewish heretics’ included all these ‘Erev Rav’ types of Jews, like Jewish-karaites, and ‘Jewish-xtians’, and probably also some ‘Jewish-demon-worshipers’.
  8. At the same time, the (Greek Orthodox) xtian Roman Emperor Justinian II, who was a sadistic tyrant, was persecuting the followers of the Prophet Mani, called ‘Manicheans’, many of whom also fled to Khazar.
  9. Mani himself was (at most…) half-Jewish. His mother was an Armenian, and his father was part of a Jewish-xtian sect called the Elcesaites.
  10. Manicheanism continued to be a very big religion in places like China.
  11. The Khazar royal family partially descended from the Chinese Emperor Wen of Western Wei, and partially from ‘Turkic’ tribes.
  12. Justinian II married a Khazar princess he renamed ‘Theodora‘.
  13. Theodora’s brother was the grandpa of ‘Sabriel-Bulan’, the guy who is meant to have converted to Judaism after discussions with a suspected Karaite, Isaac Sangari.
  14. Sabriel-Bulan doesn’t descend from Jews himself.
  15. But, ‘Sabriel-Bulan’ was apparently married to a Jewish woman, Serach Al-Yehudi.

At this stage, we could jump off into a million directions with this post.

Many ‘conspiracy theorists’ are saying ‘the Khazarian mafia’ is behind so much of what is going wrong in our world, and that 95% of Ashkenazi Jews are ‘Khazarian’ – i.e. blaming the Jews, and especially ‘the Rothschilds’ for everything.

The reasoning behind this idea seems go like this:

  1. The pagan, demon-worshipping Khazar King Bulan-Sabriel ‘converted to Judaism’, together with most of his kingdom in or around 740 CE.
  2. He was ‘forced’ to convert by neighboring rulers, who were sick of his evil, child-eating, pagan-worshipping, demonic ways.
  3. So, the conversion was always ‘fake’, and the ‘Khazar Jews’ secretly continued on as devil-worshipping pagans – with a really good trade network.
  4. The Khazar kingdom got into wars with what become ‘orthodox xtian’ Russia over the next 2-3 centuries, and was finally defeated and dissolved in the 10th (others claim 13th) century.
  5. Those demonic-worshipping, fake-Jewish ‘Khazars’ then blended back into the Jewish community, to become ‘Ashkenazi Jews’.
  6. The Rothschilds – amongst others – descend from these evil ‘Khazar’ fake-Jews.

How much of this has a factual basis?

That’s really what we are trying to figure out here.

If you go HERE, you’ll find a very interesting discussion with historian Shaul Stampfner – that originally appeared in Ukrainian – discussing whether these  demonic, pagan Khazars were really ‘Jewish’ at all.

It’s entitled:

[A]rchaeology does not offer any proof of the conversion theory.

There are no grafitti. Some people connect the candelabras that were found during digs with Judaism, but these were not explicitly Jewish candelabra, simply a symbol of light. Burial rites did not change. Some rituals are generally banned in Judaism. But there are exceptions.

There is a coin that was made by the Khazars with the Arabic text “Moses, messenger of God”—Moses, not Mohammed.

And this proves the involvement of Jews in the production of coins in Khazaria. Jews were often specialists in this.

It’s possible that Shaul Stampfer – a professor of Eastern European Jewish history is just ‘covering up’.

But what really struck me was this line:

Because that fits the ‘pattern’ that I’ve come across again and again and again in my research of Sabbatean-Frankists, of Erev Rav ‘court Jews’ who are engaged in minting coins, international trade – and trying to oppress and subvert the authentic, Torah-true Jewish community from within.

And even today, we see exactly the same thing going on in Ukraine, where all these dodgy, apparently ‘Jewish’ oligarchs are busy acting as middle men for the forces of evil, acting as brokers and contact points for all the dodgy international deals being done to steal Ukraine’s natural resources and use it as a bioweapons testing lab for the US and NATO.

But that doesn’t mean ‘Ukraine is a Jewish state’ – Zelensky, Kolomoisky and Pinchuk notwithstanding.

So now, where did this theory of all Ashkenazi Jews being descendants of converted Khazarians come from?

Writer Arthur Koestler called one of his books ‘The Thirteenth Tribe‘, and that’s where he put forward this infamous theory that Ashkenazi Jews descend from converted Khazarians.

Koestler advances the thesis that Ashkenazi Jews are not descended from the historical Israelites of antiquity, but from Khazars, a Turkic people originating in and populating an empire north of and between the Black Sea and Caspian Sea.

Koestler’s hypothesis is that the Khazars – who converted to Judaism in the 8th century – migrated westwards into current Eastern Europe (primarily Ukraine, Poland, Belarus, Lithuania, Hungary and Germany) in the 12th and 13th centuries when the Khazar Empire was collapsing.

Apparently, Koestler believed he would eradicate anti-semitism, if he showed Ashkenazi Jews were actually from the same gene pool as the rest of Eastern Europe, just practising Judaism.

Clearly, he was totally wrong about that, and all this claim did is give anti-semites another stick to beat the real Jews with.

And that was probably the whole point.

It’s also at the very the heart of all the families connected to Shabtai Zvi, Jacob Frank – and Vilna.

As a high priestly family, the denotation of their purpose was not unusual, in the same way that other priestly families were denoted for their musical and singing abilities or their capacity to serve in the Temple as scribes.

Shalom Shakhna Schorr [REMA’s f-i-l] had been so strict in his interpretation of the law, basing his rulings on religious precepts, that even in Rome they had been paying close attention, adopting many of the same rulings made by this Rabbi from Lublin.

[R’ Shalom Hakohen Shakhna Shor] owed his public standing to the most part based on the connections he and his family maintained with the government authorities, including the court of King Sigismund I.

In 1541, Shakhna was officially appointed chief rabbi of Poland by the king as a reward for his collaboration. In this capacity, he mediated between the authorities and the Jewish community, and his appointment was meant to ensure the collection of taxes by any means, even by the power of excommunication that he wielded.

But he also wielded the authority to impose the death penalty, which was far more reason for anyone to pay their taxes than the threat of excommunication. The acceptance of his role meant following in the footsteps of his father and grandfather, both of whom were the tax collectors for the Polish monarchy, ensuring that they shook the pockets of the Jewish community for every kopec owed, for which they were richly rewarded.

His father Yosef also operated a money lending business from which they wielded a tremendous amount of power over the Jewish community due to the personal indebtedness of certain families.

 In a description of one of the more severe punishments meted out by its singular judge and jury, being Shalom Shakhna, “a wicked man of evil deeds,” who’s crime appears to be that he was reporting secretly to the Polish government about the Jewish community and its leader, was to have his eyes plucked from his skull and his tongue torn out.

OK, what’s going on here?

And how does it connect to Karaites, Sabbatean-Frankists and the ‘Khazarian mafia’?

This is how these dots seem to be connecting up to me, but of course, go do your own research and come to your own (considered, fact-based) conclusions.

  • It seems more and more obvious that at least one branch of the Sadducees (who remember, took over most of the ruling and priestly functions in the Hasmonean Kingdom of Israel, operating at the time of the Second Temple) morphed into what we know as ‘Karaites’.

Remember, ‘Sadducee’ comes from the Hebrew name ‘Tzadukim’.

  • These Sadducee-Karaites dipped in and out of ‘authentic Judaism’ as it suited them.
  • These Sadducee-Karaites (and other Jewish heretics) were very heavily represented in the Kingdom of Khazar.
  • King ‘Bulan-Sabriel”s Jewish wife Serach was very probably a Sadducee-Karaite.
  • Sadducee-Karaite’s don’t stick to halacha – they chop and change things to suit themselves, and their current circumstances.
  • Bulan-Sabriel’s ‘Sadducee-Karaite-Jewish’ sons decide they are going to call themselves ‘HaKohen Al-Kuzari’ – i.e. start identifying themselves as high priests. When you remember that The Zadokite [Sadducee] priesthood held office over the Temple of Jerusalem since the time of Solomon – this starts to make way more sense.
  • The regular Jewish community (‘Rabbinates’) tended to shun the Karaite community, and avoid intermarrying with them, not least because their genealogy, including practising patrilineal descent, makes them ‘genealogically unfit’.

Now, let’s drill down to specifics.

In another post about the Karaites of Crimea, Goldenthal says this:

Even in the Sefer Khazarim, which tells the story of Rabbi Isaac of Sangar, the rabbi makes certain that he pays homage to the Priests and Levites, as if they were still performing their services, as if not wishing to offend the King.

The reality may have been that the Priestly functions may have been performed exactly as had been done in the days of the first Temple.

Circled at the top is R’ Akiva HaKohen Katz of Salonica.

He’s the ancestor of (Sadducee-Karaite) R’ Shalom HaKohen Shakna Shor, the chief rabbi of Lublin with close connections to the Polish Monarchy, and the REMA’s father-in-law. And also, of R’ Shabtai Ashkenazi Hakohen Katz – the SHACH, who is my candidate for the true identity of false messiah Shabtai Tzvi.

In my old blog, I did a long post about how ‘R’ Akiva HaKohen Katz of Salonica”s family tree was a huge, deliberate mess, and also, about his strange links to ‘Eli HaKohen’, vis:

As it turns out there is a tantalizing factoid in the literature which the current yDNA findings may eventually corroborate. R’ Akiva HaCohen Katz of Salonika (ca. 1360-1400), according to legend and several rabbinical genealogies, is reported to have been a direct descendant Eli the High Priest, a Biblical personage during the time of the Judges and Samuel.

Eli is described in the Bible as a direct patriline descendant of Aharon the Priest via his son Ithamar (the same Ithamar claimed as a Priestly ancestor by the Samaritans).

Long story short….I am now coming to the conclusion that there is a direct link between these (Sadducee-Karaite) ‘Hakohen Katzs’ that lead directly to Shabtai Tzvi and the Frankist families, and the (Sadducee-Karaite) fake ‘HaKohen Al-Kuzaris’ of the Khazar empire.

I have a lot more avenues to explore, and a lot more things to try to pin down, to really make that stand up in real time.

But that’s now the conclusion I’m coming to.

To put this another way – it’s not so much that the ‘Jewish Rothschilds’ infiltrated into all these Royal Families etc to take them over, but rather, that these ‘fake Jewish’, anti-Torah, anti-‘rabbinic’ Erev Rav Sadducee-Karaites have been trying to take over the real Jewish community from within – for at least the last 2,500 years.

I’m truly starting to think that all the ‘false messiah’ problems we’ve had as a people – starting with the Sadducee-Yoshki himself – come back to these people.

They pull the same trick each time, wheedling up to the non-Jewish royalty to gain power and office within the Jewish community itself, and then abusing that power to enrich themselves and to try and pull the real Jews away from the Torah.

Just take a look at the SHOR family – always the SHOR family!

The Sadducee-Karaite R’ Shalom Hakohen Shakna Shor of Lublin – the REMA-s F-I-L- has a great-grandson called Ephraim Zalman SHOR – author of Tevuot SHOR, and brother of Avraham Haim SHOR, ancestor of the Alter Rebbe of Chabad.

Ephraim Zalman’s son is Elisha Shor Wolowski.

He’s the head of the secret Sabbateans who ends up converting out to Catholicism, along with Jacob Frank, together with most of his children. And his daughter, Chaya, is one of the most promiscuous ‘female prophets’ of the Sabbatean-Frankist movement.

The question is: what – or who – does that ‘Star of David’ really represent?

Because at this stage, we know it was something that the externally-Jewish, Sabbatean demon-worshipping ‘Baal Shems’ introduced widely to the Jewish community. But only over the last 2-300 years.

After I wrote the last post, on the hidden links between the Khazar empire and the Karaites, a couple of interesting things happened.

  1. My plumber came to fix a leaking tap, and out of nowhere started telling me about this ‘Karaite friend’ of his, who has apparently been trying to proselytise him, and bring him to ‘Karaite meetings in the Old City’.

I literally couldn’t believe my ears, because Karaite propaganda is still pretending that there are 4 1/2 of these people left, and they aren’t interested in spreading their ‘faith’ to anyone else.

Yeah right!!

I went looking, and here is a video from about 10 years ago of the ‘Karaite Synagogue’ in the Old City, said to be the oldest synagogue in Jerusalem:

And then I found a website called ‘Karaite-Korner.org‘, which has a lot more explanation of who the Karaites say they are, what they apparently stand for – and why that’s ‘against’ authentic orthodox Judaism, which holds by the primacy of the Oral Law and the Talmud.

Here’s their intro snippet:

Karaism is the original form of Judaism as prescribed by God in the Torah.

Karaite Judaism rejects later additions to the Tanach (Jewish Bible) such as the Rabbinic Oral Law and places the ultimate responsibility of interpreting the Bible on each individual. Karaism does not reject Biblical interpretation but rather holds every interpretation up to the same objective scrutiny regardless of its source.

Here’s a few that really caught my eye:

Who is a Jew? Matrilineal or Patrilineal?

Most Karaites believe in patrilineal descent, meaning that if your father is Jewish than you are Jewish.

This is based primarily on the fact that all descent in the Bible goes according to the male line. Some Karaites believe that both parents must be Jewish. However, anyone who 1) is circumcised [males only], 2) accepts the God of Israel [YHWH] as their own God, and 3) accepts the People of Israel as their own people is a full-fledged Jew [Israelite], see Exodus 12,43-49 and Ruth 1,16.

Do Karaites eat milk and meat together?

Yes. While there is a Biblical prohibition not to boil a young goat or sheep in its mother’s milk, there is no such prohibition against eating milk and meat together.

Are Karaites and Sadducees the same thing?

We know very little about the beliefs of the Sadducees. We do know however that like the Karaites they believed only in the authority of the Tanach and rejected the Oral Law.

What is the role of women in Karaism?

Women have equal status to men in Karaism.

When the Torah commanded that the entire nation come to hear the Torah read in a public reading on Sukkot every seventh year, it explicitly mentioned that both men and women were required to come and learn the Torah. Women have an equal obligation to keep the commandments and study the Tanach. There are some laws that apply specifically to men (such as circumcision) just as there are some laws that apply specifically to women (such as laws regarding menstruation). 

Women have equal standing and participation in prayer services and as spiritual leaders. In the 10th century, the leader of the prominent and powerful Karaite community of Spain was a woman whom the Karaites referred to as “The Teacher” [al-Mualema].

Because what struck me instantly was that these Karaites still hate ‘the rabbis’ and ‘their Talmud’ with a passion; and that Karaite beliefs overlap a lot with Sadduccees, xtians – and perhaps more relevant for our times, ‘Reform Judaism’.

Reform is also really big on patrilineal descent, and on women having an ‘equal role’ in prayer services.

At this stage, I’m increasingly of the view that is not an accident.

Here’s a few snippets that caught my eye, but please do go and read it yourself, it’s not so long:

Like the Karaites who were to follow them, the Sadducees and the Boethusians continued the tradition originated by Moses (Dt 4,2) of keeping the Torah’s commandments with no addition. 

Ed. note: This appears to confirm some sort of link between the original, heretical Sadducees and Boethusians, and their ‘spiritual descendants’, the Karaites.

[I] n the 8th century a last glimmer of hope appeared in the form of a shrewd leader named Anan ben David.

Anan organized various non-Talmudic groups and lobbied the Caliphate to establish a second Exilarchate for those who refused to live according to the Talmud’s man-made laws. The Muslims granted Anan and his followers the religious freedom to practice Judaism in the way of their ancestors.

Anan himself was not a Karaite… Anan’s followers became known as Ananites and this group continued to exist down until the 10th century.

On the other hand, those Jews who continued to practice the Tanach-based religion of their ancestors became known as Bnei Mikra (“Followers of Scripture”) which was also abbreviated as Karaim (“Scripturalists”), in English “Karaites”.

Pay attention to the timing of all this.

The 8th century is exactly when the Khazar king, Sabriel-Bulan, is meant to have decided to become a Jew.

And we know that the Khazar empire was historically full of Jewish Karaites, and also other Jewish ‘refugees’ who had moved there from Persia and Armenia, to ‘escape persecution’.

What we can learn out from this, is that there is a strong possibility that the ‘Jews’ who were trying to get out of Persia and Armenia by moving to Khazar were those who were ‘anti’ the Rabbis, and ‘anti’ the Rabbinic traditions – i.e. a bunch of heretics, at the very least.

And that’s even without mixing in the Jewish-xtian-gnostic groups, the followers of ‘Mani’, and a bunch of others who were literally still worshipping demons….

Also pay attention to this whole Karaite idea of Jewish descent being passed on via the man – in total contradiction of halacha.

Personally, this is starting to answer a lot of the questions I’ve been having, over the last two years, about how so many of our supposedly ‘big rabbis’ and their families could continue to claim to be Jews, when the men were obviously marrying out.

This has enormous implications for the whole idea of ‘who is really a Jew’, today.

Also remember that passage from Yevamot 16a (quoted in the last post) about the KARTUYITES / KARAITES being ‘genealogically unfit’ for regular Jews to marry?

Rami bar Yechezkel was referring only to the KARTUYITES, who were ineligible as converts [possibly because they were suspected of being mamzerim…

Again, we are starting to see the contours of something much deeper starting to come into focus.

If Sadducee-Karaites hold that Jewish descent is via the father not the mother… well. You can already see what a mess can develop in a very short amount of time.

One last thing, on that topic.

How is that possible, when they practise ‘patrilineal descent’?

Here’s a snippet:

They became ‘cultural Karaites’ and rejected Judaism – and say that they’re not Jews,” explains [Chacham Nechemia] Gordon. The great majority of Karaites come from Egypt, however, and Gordon asserts that “within Judaism, we accept the Karaite approach as opposed to the Orthodox or Conservative or Reform approach. But I must emphasize that we’re first and foremost Jews,” he repeats.

Rabbi David Chayim Chelouche, the chief rabbi of Netanya, agrees. “A Karaite is a Jew,” says Chelouche, who has written a great deal about the Karaites. “We accept them as Jews and every one of them who wishes to come back [to mainstream Judaism] we accept back. Man, what a mess.

The area those ‘Karaites of Eastern Europe’ were in is, of course, modern day Ukraine (aka ‘Khazaria).

If you go HERE, you’ll find Gordon’s discussion of the role of Karaites in the Holocaust, where he states the following:

Alongside the Karaite Jews there is a second group who use the name “Karaite” or in their own language “Karaylar” (Zajaczkowski, page 11).

These Karaylar-Karaites are an ethnic group originating in Eastern Europe although their exact origins are a topic of much debate. It seems they are in part descendants of Karaite Jews, who left Karaite Judaism in the late 19th or early 20th Century. According to the Karaylar-Karaites themselves, they are descended from Tataric-Turkic tribes and they readily back this up with linguistic and anthropological evidence….

One characteristic of Karaylar-Karaites is that they profess belief in Jesus and Mohammed as prophets.

Gordon states that these ‘Karaylar-Karaites’ were living in Crimea / Khazaria.

Again, please go and read the whole discussion about who these ‘Karaites’ living in Eastern Europe before WW2 really were, and what they were really doing.

Because while Nechemia Gordon is making a big deal out of the fact that these so-called ‘Karaylar-Karaites’ can’t really be Jewish, because they believed in Yoshki, we already know from all our Sabbatean-Frankist research that there were a great many closet Frankists and Sabbatean even in the mainstream Jewish communities in these areas that believed in Yoshki, and Shabtai Tzvi, and probably a bunch more false prophets that aren’t even on our radar.

And some of those Crimean ‘Karaites’ even fought with the Wehrmecht and Waffen-SS!

From a letter dated 27 September 1944, from Gerhard Klopfer, Staatssekretär in the Party Chancery, to SS Standartenführer Dr. Karl Brandt, we learn that an estimated 500-600 Crimean Karaites were serving in the Wehrmacht, Waffen-SS, and Tatar Legion! These Karaites most probably served with the 5,000-20,000 Crimean Tatars who served in the six German-officered Tatar battalions.

UPDATE:

I took a look at Karaite Hakham Nechemia Gordon’s up-to-date blog HERE.

He does a regular show with a xtian named Keith Johnson, called ‘Hebrew Gospel Pearls’.

Many of those episodes are restricted to subscribers, but this one, below, from March 9th, provides quite a lot of grist for the mill that ‘Jesus’ was actually a Karaite forerunner…

And that he was quoted as saying he didn’t want to do away with the ‘Torah’, per se – i.e. the written Torah – but the oral Torah.

This lead to a split in the early church between ‘James brother of Yoshki’, who wanted new xtians to continue keeping all the Torah’s commandments, and to effectively live as Torah Jews who believed that Yoshki was Moshiach, and Paul, who taught the Torah’s written commandments no longer applied.

Again, recall the verse above, from the Gemara:

Remember that passage from Yevamot 16a (quoted in the last post) about the KARTUYITES / KARAITES being ‘genealogically unfit’ for regular Jews to marry?

Rami bar Yechezkel was referring only to the KARTUYITES, who were ineligible as converts [possibly because they were suspected of being mamzerim…

All this potentially sheds a lot of light on who is still fighting today against what they call ‘Rabbinic Judaism’ – i.e. Torah-true Judaism that includes obedience to the Oral Torah.

And it also sheds a lot of light on how this faction of what we would call ‘Sadducees’ / heretical Tzadukim morphed into:

  • Early Jewish xtians 1 (who believed Yoshki was Moshiach, and still kept the written Torah but were ‘anti’ the Oral Torah – i.e. Sadducees.)
  • Early Jewish xtians 2 (who still kept the written Torah, were ‘anti’ the Oral Torah, but also believed Yoshki was somehow a human incarnation of God Himself, chas v’shalom).
  • Early non-Jewish xtians 1 (who believed Yoshki was divine, and still kept the written Torah but were ‘anti’ the Rabbinic Oral Torah.)
  • Early non-Jewish xtians 2 (who believed Yoshki was divine, and DIDN’T keep even the writtenTorah.)
  • Sadducees who didn’t believe that Yoshki was divine, or Moshiach (at least, after he died) – but agreed with his anti-Rabbinic Oral Torah stance – and this last group seem to have morphed into the Karaites.

And we still didn’t add into the mix the outright devil-worshipping gnostic-xtian and gnostic-xtian-formerly-Jewish sects yet, there were also on the scene.

But we will, with God’s help.

 I use a lot of the Talmud of Rabbi Steinsaltz Koren Talmud. Here the following comment is placed by him:

Karduyim – קרַדְוּיּיִם : This apparently refers to the inhabitants of areas of northern Iraq, near the source of the Tigris River, the region known primarily as Kurdistan today. It is probable that the Kartuyim are from the same region, albeit from a different area.

Kartuyim are unfit –פסְּיִליֵ קרַתְּויּיֵ : Some commentaries maintain that this quote was habitually cited as an example of those who are rendered unfit on account of their lineage. Others say that Kartuyim is a kind of unclean fowl, and this name was applied to those who came from places that can be described in terms of this kind (Rivan).

Again, I’m just putting more of these ‘breadcrumbs’ together, at this stage, and exploring some interesting connections and possibilities.

There are still a lot of gaps that need filling, before anyone can say with any degree of certainty, what is really going on here. But one thing is clear: the history you and I got taught is full of lies and deliberate disinformation.

That’s one thing I’m totally sure about.
