I just sat down to try to figure out ‘what am I doing with myself this year’.

The big piece of paper I put out on the table to try and help me figure all this stuff out is empty.

But I had an idea while I was doing some hitbodedut on why nothing was coming to me, and this is it:

Just let God decide.

If I take this idea seriously, the implications are awesome, and kind of exciting.


For example, I was pondering what I should be focusing on writing next.

I still have so many tabs open… so many paths to follow… so many subjects to cover…

And at the same time, I feel like doing things differently this year, and not just picking up where I left off in 5781.

As I was rolling this around, an email popped into my inbox asking me if I knew that the late Lord Rabbi Jonathan Sacks was the great-grandson of the founder of Petach Tikva, one Aryeh Leib Frumkin.


I didn’t, but I started looking at more of the links my correspondent, D., sent me – and whaddya know?


Lord Rabbi Jonathan Sacks is directly related to that same Yehoshua Zeitlin who seems to be in the middle of so very much of what went wrong in the Jewish community, approximately 250 years ago.

Before I get back into all that, let me finish the thought:

I’m letting God decide what I’m doing this year.

Wherever He takes me, whatever options or information or people He sends me, I’m going to be ‘open’ to receiving it, and not just trying to follow my own plan, or my own ideas.

What do I know anyway?


I can already see it makes life way more interesting, to let God show me what I should be doing next, instead of trying to dictate things myself.

So, let’s get back to Aryeh Leib Frumkin.

Why does God want me to look over there, right now?

I start clicking around, and I notice that Lord Rabbi Jonathan Sacks apparently traces back to a son of the original Yehoshua Zeitlin named Moshe Zeitlin.


There’s a couple of things I find interesting about this.

Firstly, that such a wealthy, privileged young man apparently just ‘dropped out’ of Russian Jewish society….

I used to believe fairy tales like this in the old days, but now, I tend to think that these ‘dead end stories’ are just a way of hiding what really happened next. Which is when I remember that someone else apparently had a son named Moshe, in the same geographical area, in roughly the same time frame, who also kind of ‘disappeared’ in mysterious circumstances:


I’ve already written a ton about this particular mysterious ‘Moshe’, but here’s what’s really interesting, for this post:

Moshe Schneuri’s daughter Rachel marries a Fundaminsky.

And we already know from THIS post that ‘Fundaminsky’ was a name adopted by at least part of the Zeitlin family, to obscure their origins.

And that the ‘big’, mysterious, Chabad family of Tumarkin were also intermarrying with the Zeitlin / Fundaminskys:


So, it’s not totally ‘out there’ for me to start pondering if ‘Moshe Zeitlin’ – son of Yehoshua Zeitlin – and ‘Moshe Schneuri’ – apparently the son of the Alter Rebbe of Chabad – are one and the same person.

While you’re digesting that, let’s see what else pops up that might throw some more light on the subject.


The guy who is putting a lot of info up on Geni about this branch of Zeitlins is called Eliezer Dovid Zeitlin, and he has a photo album.


Under Moshe Zeitlin’s profile, there are 3 titchy photos of documents that I just know have some crucial, pertinent information to start unwinding this whole Chabad / Zeitlin / Lord Rabbi Jonathan Sacks story.

But they are too titchy to read with the naked eye, and I don’t have ‘permission’ to click on them:


But lucky for me, I recently bought a massive magnifying glass, so I will come back to this, and I find out anything more, I’ll let you know in an update. And if there are any sharp-eyed readers out there who can decipher this in the meantime- please do!


I keep looking for more clues, and I get to one Chaim Menachem Mendel Zeitlin (son of Shneur Zalman (Jacob?) Zeitlin, who is another one of ‘Moshe Zeitlin’s’ grandsons, of the same generation as Aryeh Leib Frumkin.


In the notes underneath his profile, I read this:

Escaped Russia in the early 1900’s to Fiume, while using the family name Gintzburgh. R’ C.M. Mendel met his family there for they came years earlier while he was imprisoned in Smolensk.

Eventually 1912 ? he continued on to Eretz Yisroel / Ottoman Empire originally with Bluma (I think on a tape from Tante Rivka Tenenbaum) to scout out an apartment together. Bluma returned to Europe, while he stayed on alone and joined the Kollel of Yeshiva Chayeh Olam in the Old City Yerushalayim, it was considered the Chassidishe Kollel (so I heard) –Here too he used the name Gintzburgh [probably the reason his name on the Matzeiva was also Gintzburgh because the death records were controlled by the Turkish-Ottoman Empire and that’s how he entered E.Y. from Fiume?]


So now, I have a third surname to add to the list for the Zeitlins, along with ‘Fundaminsky’, namely ‘Gintzburgh’.

Chaim ‘Menachem Mendel’ Zeitlin / Gintzburgh is married to a lady called Bluma.

This snippet comes from underneath her geni profile:

Bluma was the Third Generation from the Baal Hatanya – Rebbe Shneur Zalmen of Liadi the First Rebbe of Chabad Lubavitch. Her mother Rivka was a daughter of Frieda who was a daughter of the Baal Hatanya. Bluma was a cousin with the Rebbe Resha”b – Sholom Dov Ber of Chabad Lubavitch.”


There’s just one problem with this…. ‘official Chabad genealogy’ only records two children for Frieda Schneuri, both sons:


Here’s some more interesting things we learn from Frieda’s geni profile:

Frieda’s son, Boruch, marries the daughter of Binyomin Kletzker.

We’ve seen that name before, in THIS post. Here’s the relevant snippet:

 I immediately see that this Aharon Tumarkin is:

a) Meant to be married to an ‘anonymous’ Eisenstadt / Kletzker.

b) That this same anonymous Eisenstadt / Kletzker woman is also the wife of the Alter Rebbe’s grandson, oneBaruch Klutzkar’.

(If your head is spinning right now, join the club. It’s par for the course with all this stuff, but I’m going to push through the ‘confusion’ to try and drag some more of the truth out into the light. I’ll sum all the main findings up at the bottom of the post for those with weak constitutions.)

(This is all talking about this same guy, Benjamin Eisenstadt / Kletzker):

His sons-in-law

One of his children married the Rabbi Baruch of Shklov / Orsha, the second son of Rabbi Eliyahu (ben Rabbi Mordechai), and the Rabbanit Frieda, daughter of the Alter Rebbe.

The daughter of Rabbi Baruch was the daughter-in-law of the Tzemach Tzedek, the wife of his son R’ Yaakov, who died during the lifetime of the Tzemach Tzedek.

[Benjamin Kletzker’s] second son-in-law was Rabbi Aharon Tumarkin, (the grandfather of ‘Chatan Danan).

His third son-in-law was ‘the big, famous’ Rabbi Ber Leib Baruchin, from Plotsk.


Rabbi Baruch of Shklov is very likely one and the same as the maskil, Freemason and court physician to Prince Radziwill, Baruch Shick of Shklov.

According to the document quoted above, which is meticulously footnoted from conventional Chabad sources, Baruch of Shklov’s maternal grandfather is Shneur Zalman, aka the Alter Rebbe.

But according to the Jew-Age website HERE, Baruch Shick of Shklov’s maternal grandfather is none other than… the Sha’agat Aryeh.


Notice that the surname of the Sha’agat Aryeh is GINZBURG.

In the post on Yitzhak Rabin that a lot of this info about Baruch Shick comes from, we learned that:

Israeli PM Yitzhak Rabin was the direct descendant of the Alter Rebbe of Chabad.

Here’s how that works:

Alter Rebbe > Frieda > Baruch Shick of Shklov > Unknown child > R’ Yaakov Baruchin > > > > Rosa Cohen > Yitzhak Rabin.


So now, let’s try and fit ‘Chaim Menachem Mendel Zeitlin / Gintzburg’, and his wife Bluma, back in this picture.

While the Alter Rebbe’s grandson ‘Baruch of Schick’ was busy joining the masons, trying to ‘enlighten’ his fellow Jews while hanging out with Joshua Zeitlin, and fathering the ancestor of Israeli PM Yitzhak Rabin….

The Alter Rebbe’s grand-daughter Bluma was also busy marrying a Zeitlin, fathering another ‘Zionist pioneer’ who apparently founded Petach Tikva, and who then went on to become the great-grandfather of Lord Rabbi Jonathan Sacks.

Or to put it another way, Yitzhak Rabin and Jonathan Sacks belong to the same family, and are both descendants of the Alter Rebbe.


But there’s more.

Here’s a snippet that appears under the profile for Frieda Schneuri, Alter Rebbe daughter No. 5 and ancestor of Yitzhak Rabin and Lord Rabbi Jonathan Sacks:

Frieda was the eldest daughter of the Alter Rebbe and a particular favourite who he taught personally much Chasidus. Her husband Rabbi Elijah was a secret Frankist.Her brother Moshe along with her sisters Brocha, Devorah Leah and Esther Miriam were influenced by the Catholic Frankists teachings.


Who is this mysterious ‘Rabbi Elijah’, husband of Frieda and apparently another secret Frankist?

The timing appears to bo too late to match the ‘Vilna Gaon’ (of course, assuming that the Vilna Gaon’s name was really ‘Elijah’, and not ‘Pinchas’, or something totally different…. That’s a post for another time.)

But there IS another ‘Elijah’ in the mix, who connects to the family of Aryeh Leib Frumkin, and who is also very ‘mysterious’ and deliberately distorted through the lens of made-up Jewish history, and that’s Elijah Ragoler.

Here’s the pertinent snippet from the Jewish Virtual Library:

Ragoler’s brother, SAMUEL KELMER, was also a renowned scholar who went to Ereẓ Israel in the closing years of his life. Samuel was the father of Aryeh Leib *Frumkin.


(BTW, British PM Boris Johnson is also descended from that same Elijah Ragoler. Just another little CO-IN-CID-ENCE.)


Aryeh Leib Frumkin conveniently wrote an ‘official biography’ of Elijah Ragoler, so all the dates are totally fudged.

But I think this profile on the My Heritage is giving us a more accurate view of when our particular Elijah Ragoler was alive:


This Elijah Ragoler was married to one Gita Pesseles – which takes us straight back into Vilna Gaon territory.

Here’s a more trustworthy version of the Vilna Gaon’s family tree, from Chaim Freedman’s ‘Eliyahu’s Branches’:

The Vilna Gaon is meant to have remarried one ‘Gittel Luntz of Kelm’ – notice the KELM connection to all this.

And Gita’s second husband was Shlomo Zalman of Volozhin, the brother of Reb Chaim of Volozhin.


Does that make ‘Frieda Shneuri’ ‘Gita Pesseles AKA Gittel Luntz of Kelm’?

I don’t know.

There’s still so very much to unpick.

But if Frieda’s husband ‘Rabbi Elijah’ was a secret Freemason-Frankist….


That kind of explains a least a little of what his children were up to.


The last point – that I keep kind of weaving around, as it’s not so easy to deal with – concerns Frieda’s other son, Aharon Zaslavski.

Aharon Zaslavski married Chaya, Rebbe Nachman’s daughter, as a second marriage, after Rebbe Nachman had died and was no longer there to ‘arrange’ a marriage with someone suitable.

There seems to be a lot of evidence to suggest that ‘Aharon Zaslavski’ was extremely problematic, from a spiritual perspective.

That ‘Frankist-Freemason’ vibe seems to have been in full swing in this part of the family tree.

This is already a long post, so I’m going to return to this subject soon, God willing.

But here are the takeaways, from this post:


  • Surprise surprise!!! The late Lord Rabbi Jonathan Sacks was ALSO a descendent of the Alter Rebbe, via his daughter Frieda, and ALSO a descendant of Joshua Zeitlin. (Who may yet turn out to be ‘alter egos’ of the same person….)
  • Yet another ‘big Zionist’ – Aryeh Leib Frumkin, founder of Petach Tikva – turns out to be related to the Alter Rebbe of Chabad and Joshua Zeitlin.
  • The Zeitlins used a lot of alternative surnames, including ‘Fundaminsky’ and Gintzburgh.
  • Moshe Zeitlin’ and ‘Moshe Schneuri’ overlap a great deal, and maybe the same person.


So, we cleaned up a little more of the confusion swirling around real Jewish history.

And we discovered that just like you need the right yichus to become PM of Israel, no Chief Rabbi of the British Commonwealth gets the job on merit alone.

How’s that for a title?

This post was 100% out of the blue.

I don’t even remember how I got there, but I was tootling around looking up some stuff about Mark Vishniak, who was yet another one of those high-ranking ‘atheist’ Jews at the forefront of the Russian Revolution.

HERE‘s a snippet from Wiki:

Mark Veniaminovich Vishniak (1883–1977) was a Russian socialist, journalist and writer. M. V. Vishniak was born in Moscow in 1883, the son of a wealthy merchant. He was a childhood friend of the future Socialist-Revolutionary leaders A.R. Gots and I.I. Fondaminsky.
The name Fondaminsky got me to sit up a little, as it fits straight in with the Alter Rebbe’s catholic son, Moshe, and his daughter Rachel, who is meant to have married one Moshe Tzvi Fundaminsky.
So, I started doing some digging.
Here’s the relevant snippets from Wikipedia:

Ilya Isidorovich Fondaminsky (1880-1942), was a Russian author (writing under the pseudonym Bunakov) and political activist, in 1910s one of the leaders of the Esers party, in 1917 a senior member of the Alexander Kerensky‘s Provisional government

In France where he was living since immigration in 1919, Fondaminsky veered off from the left and became an influential newspaper editor (Sovremennye Zapisky, among others), author of philosophical essays and in the later years — much admired philanthropist, supporting Christian magazines and charity funds.

Facing the Nazi occupation, Fondaminsky refused to leave Paris, saying he was willing to accept his destiny whatever it may be. Arrested in July 1941 as a Jew and sent to the concentration camp, he adopted Christianity and was received into the Russian Orthodox Church not long before being sent to Auschwitz.

Ilya Fondaminsky died there on November 19, 1942. In 2003, he was officially pronounced a Russian Orthodox saintly martyr by the Patriarch of Constantinople.


That’s quite a story, hey?

And we will get to Alexander Kerensky in another post soon, because he was also a Freemason, probably a Frankist, and definitely a Jew.

So, I went to see what more I could learn about this ‘xtian saint’ Fondaminsky, and who his family was. Which is when I got to THIS, the geni entry for his wife, one Amalia (Malka Bracha) Fundaminski (nee Gavaranski).


She was born in 1882, and apparently died in 1932.

Me being me, I also went to check out Ilya’s brother, one Mordechai Fundaminsky, apparently from Shklov, who weirdly seemed to be a full 20 years older than his only sibling, Ilya.

Apparently, he was quite the looker.

So much so, that the stuff I found online about him just went on and on and on about his ‘bluish-black’ velvety hair…


I really have no idea how I got to this next bit of the puzzle – call it happy serendipity.

But I was clicking around when the picture of someone called Mikhail Zeitlin really caught my eye:



I thought to myself.

This ‘Mikhail Zeitlin’ guy looks EXACTLY like Mordechai Fundaminski….

So I started checking out his relatives, and whaddya know? Look who he’s married to:


Look very closely at that picture of Manya Zeitlin (nee Tumarkin).

You’ll see that Manya Zeitlin, and Amalia (Malka Bracha) Fundaminski are THE SAME PERSON.

Born the same year, the same photo, the same connections…


Back in THIS post, I was laying out some of the (assumed) connections between the Rivlins and the Zeitlins and the Schneersons. Here’s what I wrote back then:

You’ll remember that I already talked about the Zeitlin connection to the Alter Rebbe, and to the haskalah, HERE.

Joshua Zeitlin is listed as the father in law of ‘Reb Alexander Sender’ – apparently one of the Alter Rebbe’s favorite talmidim.

And ‘Alexander Sender’ is meant to be the father of Moshe of Shklov – who we already pinned down as being one and the same as Moshe Schneuri, the Alter Rebbe’s catholic Frankist son.

 That would make Joshua Zeitlin the Alter Rebbe’s father in law.


So now, let’s get the ducks in a row again, before continuing.

The Alter Rebbe’s grand-daughter via his catholic son Moshe Shneuri is Rachel Fundaminsky – she marries one Moshe Tzvi Fundaminsky who doesn’t really exist, outside of fake Jewish geneaology.

We know there is a direct link between the Alter Rebbe and the Zeitlin family, but we don’t know how they intersect, as it’s all been deliberately hidden.

What we just learned above is that at least one branch of the Zeitlin family changed their name to ‘Fundaminsky’.

That same branch of the Zeitlin / Fundaminsky family were very active in the Russian Revolution.

That same branch of the Zeitlin / Fundaminsky family have more weird connections to the Russian Orthodox Church, and apparently pulled off the unusual feat of converting to xtianity – and then being gassed – in Auschwitz.


OK, let’s see what more clues we can pick up here.

Mikhail Zeitlin / Mordechai Fundaminski’s parents are listed as Yosef Esel Zeitlin and Channe Wissotsky.

Channe’s dad is Kalonymus Ze’ev Wissotsky (1824-1904) – founder of the infamous Wissotsky tea company.

His biography is also very interesting. Here’s some pertinent snippets from YIVO’s entry:

Kalonymus Wissotzky was born in a town near Kovno into the family of a small merchant. At 18, he married and his wife’s parents agreed to support his Talmud studies for three years. He attended the Volozhin yeshiva but had to leave because of illness.

In 1853 Wissotzky studied with Yisra’el Salanter, the father of the Musar movement; subsequently, Wissotzky decided to direct 10 percent of his income to charity. In 1858 he moved to Moscow and worked in the tea business. During the 1860s and 1870s he became a major tea trader in Russia, and eventually opened branches in New York, London, and elsewhere in Europe….


… He helped to finance a Jewish school in Jaffa and also funded land purchases for Jewish workers in Palestine.

Wissotzky was also a member of Ha-Va‘ad ha-Odessa’i (Odessa Committee). In 1896–1897 he contributed financially to the periodical Ha-Shiloaḥ. Other beneficiaries of his philanthropy included the Zionist movement, ORT, and the yeshiva of Volozhin.

His daughter, Liba Miriam Gavronskii, helped to establish the yeshiva of Ponevezh. In Wissotzky’s will, he bequeathed his share of his tea company—a total of 1 million rubles—to charity. From this sum, 100,000 rubles were used to found the Technion in Haifa.


Yet again, we have the yeshivas of Volozhin and Ponevezh linked to  active ‘Zionists’, who are in turn linked to Russian Jewish oligarchs, who are in turn linked to the Zeitlin family…

What are the chances?

Do you know who else has a close connection to Wissotsky?

Ahad Ha’Am, aka Asher Zvi Hirsh Ginsburg.

In 1896, Ginsberg became editor of Hashiloah, a Hebrew monthly, a position he held for six years. After stepping down as editor in 1903, he went back to the business world with the Wissotzky Tea Company.


Ahad Ha’Am was BIGGGG in the secular Zionist enterprise.

Like, really, really big.

And you know who he was married to?

One Rivka Shneerson, the niece of the 5th Lubavitcher Rebbe.

(Rabbi Schneur Zalman Mordechai Schneerson, her father, was the brother of the 5th Lubavitcher Rebbe’s wife, Shterna Sarah Schneerson.)


Hey, what a CO-IN-CID-ENCE!

Did you have ANY idea that the Chabad rebbes were so closely intertwined, at so many different junctures, with so many of the leading secular Zionists that mamash created the State of Israel?


Doesn’t that seem a little strange?


What else can we find over here?

Manya Zeitlin was born Manya Tumarkin.

Tumarkin is listed on geni as being a name that pops up a lot in the Chabad extended dynasty.

Now, I’d love to tell you exactly where Manya and her father Shmuel Tumarkin fits into all this – but it seems people are going to great lengths to keep that information hidden:


I wonder why?

The other husband listed for Manya Zeitlin might give us some clues about that.

He’s one Nikolay Avxentiev Avksentyevlisted as the non-Jewish, Bolshevik and Freemason Russian Minister of Interior Affairs.

How Manya managed to pull off two husbands at once, one Jewish and one a noble Russian – but both revolutionary Bolsheviks – is something not explained.

But are you starting to see, that there are many, many reasons why the genealogies of all these families closely related to Jacob Frank have been so messed up?

There is so much hiding out under all this.


The Sabbatean/Frankist/Freemasons took over our community (and apparently, not a few secular governments….) many hundreds of years ago.

Very little of what we are taught to be real Jewish history is true.

And it’s now time to figure out who those Frankist-Freemason families really were, so we can trace their actions, identify their connections – and finally reclaim the Jewish community for the side of good.

Why does all this matter?

If you know that you are dealing with THE SAME FAMILY, just one branch is running the secular State of Israel, while the other branch is running the ‘ultra orthodox community’ of Israel – well.

You start to ask all sorts of questions about vested interests, and back-door channels, and also – why the heck aren’t we being told, that literally all these people are close blood relatives, who in turn are tied to suspected Sabbatian-Frankist families?

Sure, people can always make teshuva.

But we also know, that this world is an olam hafuch….and that the people who are ‘on the top’ are really way, way down there, on the bottom, spiritually.

And vice-versa.


So let’s see if we can tease out some more of the ties between the State of Israel, and the so-called ‘ultra-orthodox leadership’ here.

Let’s start with a guy called Yitzhak ben Tzvi, aka the Second President of Israel, after Chaim Weizmann.

Here he is, cuddly old guy that he is:

And here is some basic info to get us started, from the Wikipedia page:

“Born in Poltava in the Russian Empire (today in Ukraine), Ben-Zvi was the eldest son of Zvi Shimshelevich, who later took the name Shimshi.

Shimshi was a leading Zionist activist and one of the organizers of the first Zionist Congress in 1897, who in 1952 was honored by the first Israeli Knesset with the title “Father of the State of Israel”.

A member of the B’ne Moshe and Hoveve Zion movements in Ukraine, he was (with Theodore Herzl) one of the organizers of the first Zionist Congress in Basel, Switzerland, in the fall of 1897.

At that Congress the World Zionist Organization was founded, and the intention to re-establish a Jewish state was announced.”


Do you know who the ‘Father of the State of Israel’ is directly related to?


The Chazon Ish.

Shimshi’s wife, Yitzhak ben Tzvi’s mother, plugs us straight into the ‘Karelitz’ family tree. Both Yitzhak ben Tzvi and the Chazon Ish had the same grandpa, one Meir HaLevi Epstein.

Here’s how that breaks down:

>Yitzhak Eliyahu Epstein > Yente Koplowitz > Atara, marries ‘Tzvi Shimshi Father of Israel’


Let’s learn a bit more about that second president of Israel, second cousin of the Chazon Ish (and of course, also of Rav Kanievsky’s mother.)

Here’s some more tidbits from the Wikipedia page:

  • He set up HaShomer in 1909, the military defense organisation that prefigured the Haganah, which then became the IDF.

Here’s it’s kind of creepy flag (and notice that black hexagon thingy, right in the centre.)

Another interesting co-founder of HaShomer is one Alexander Zaid.

Here’s a snippet, which really has me scratching my head:

Zaïd was born in 1886 in Zima, a town in Irkutsk Oblast, Siberia. His father had been deported from Vilna to Siberia due to revolutionary activity and his mother was a Subbotnik.


I’ve been trying to track down ‘Tilla Sabatka‘, one of the mysterious ancestors of the Alter Rebbe for months.

For some reason, it’s another name that’s hidden in the mists.

So I clicked on ‘Subbotnik‘, just to see if there might be a clue or a link, and this is what I learned:

The Subbotniks (“Sabbatarians”) is a common name for Russian religious movements of Christian origin, whom majority belonged to Rabbinic and Karaite Judaism, the Judaizers minority to Spiritual Christianity, split from other Sabbatarians in the late 18th century.


There are three main groups of people described as Subbotniks:

  • Judaizing Talmudists: Subbotnik converts to Rabbinic Judaism, also described as “Gery”, “Talmudisty”, or “Shaposhniki”.

  • Karaimites or Karaite Subbotniks: also described as “Russian Karaites“, considering themselves as adherents of Karaite Judaism. They recognize only the scriptural authority of the Torah and reject the Talmud; however, it has been reported that they don’t practice circumcision.

  • Subbotnik Molokans sect: in contradiction to the previous Subbotnik sects, they recognize the Gospel, but also practice some of the rules and precepts of the Old Testament.



Say what?!?!?

This is the first I’ve heard of these Russian xtian ‘converts’ to Judaism, some of whom appear to have been orthodox Jews, at least nominally, some of whom become non-circumcising Russian Karaites, and others who become ‘Subbotnik Molokans’ who mixed up xtianity with Judaism however which way they wanted.

And we’re not talking about small numbers here, either. Back to Wiki:

A 1912 religious census in Russia recorded 12,305 “Judaizing Talmudists”, and 4,092 “Russian Karaites”, and 8,412 Subbotniks who “had fallen away from Orthodoxy”.


So, in 1912 there are 25,000 of these quasi-Jewish ‘Subbotniks’.

(Other estimates say there are 100 times more of these Subbotniks in existence.)

And of course, they moved en masse to Palestine:

Subbotnik communities were among early supporters of Zionism. During the First Aliyah at the end of the 19th century, thousands of Subbotniks settled in Ottoman Palestine to escape religious persecution due to their differences with the Russian Orthodox Church. Some Subbotniks had immigrated to Ottoman Palestine even prior to the First Aliyah…

[T]hey were not considered Jews according to halakhaThey Hebraized their surnames to assimilate. Within a short period, the descendants of Subbotnik Jews who arrived in Ottoman Palestine in the late 19th century had completely blended and inter-married into the wider Jewish population of Israel.


You know, even I’m flummoxed by all this.

Are these ‘Subbotniks’ Frankists who left Judaism, and then tried to rejoin it?

Are they something else entirely?

And what is Rav Kook doing in the middle of all this?

The Torah-centered Bnei Moshe movement ties with the Subbotniks and formed the majority of the port Jaffa’s population.

In 1904, later famous Zionist rabbi Abraham Isaac Kook was invited by them to become their rabbi. The appointment of Rav Kook brought them closer to the Jewish religious mainstream.


What is totally mind-boggling to me is that this issue of ‘Subbotniks in Israel’ seems to be an open secret.

Ariel Sharon’s mother was apparently a ‘Subbotnik’….

R’ Shlomo Amar apparently ruled that the Subbotniks would have to convert back in 2004:

In 2004, the Sephardic Chief Rabbi of IsraelShlomo Amar ruled the Subbotniks were not defined as Jewish and would have to undergo an Orthodox conversion. The Interior Ministry classified the Subbotniks as a Christian sect and ineligible for aliyah to Israel, because no one knew if their ancestors had formally converted to Judaism (and there is much historic evidence that they did not).

The ruling was abolished in 2014, with an attempt by the Interior Ministry to allow remaining Subbotnik families to immigrate to Israel.

Apparently, most of the city of Yaffo (that isn’t Arab…) identifies as ‘Subbotnik’…


Man, this story is getting crazier and crazier.

I just found a PDF about the Subotnik history HERE, which I’m going to read now, and then I’ll update you what else I find.

Total madness.

But you see, this is at least part of the reason all these ‘links’ are being scrubbed and misrepresented.

There is a lot more going on here that none of us plebs have any idea about.




(Probably the first of many, on this subject.)

There seems to be 2 distinct groups of ‘Judaising’ Russians here. One are Subbotniks, and the other are Molokans.

Both groups seem to be connected on some level with the Karaite community in Crimea, and also with the Karaite community located in Troki, near Vilna:

According to Karaite tradition, Grand Duke Vytautas of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania relocated one branch of the Crimean Karaites to Lithuania ordering to build them a town, called today Trakai. There they continued to speak their own language….

The Lithuanian Karaites settled primarily in Vilnius and Trakai, as well as in Biržai, Pasvalys, Naujamiestis and Upytė – smaller settlements throughout Lithuania proper.

The Lithuanian Karaites also settled in lands of modern Belarus and Ukraine, which were part of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. The Karaite communities emerged in Halych and Kukeziv (near Lviv) in Galicia, as well as in Lutsk and Derazhne in Volhynia.


All roads lead back to Vilna, one way or another.

A lot of the interesting families I’m researching are flagged as having ongoing, protracted correspondence and connections with the Karaite chachamim.

You’ll see there seem to be quite a few links between the Shor family and Lutzk, and Troki – fingered as Karaite hotspots.


And if you go HERE – it’s a site run by a Karaite historian with a chip on his shoulder about ‘Rabbiners’ – you’ll find the amazing story of a ‘Rabbiner-Karaite’ intermarriage.

The Karaite historian explains that the ‘Kahana’ family were prominent Karaites….

And one Yaakov Kahana ‘intermarried’ with one Rivka Reisa Schorr, back at the end of the 16th century.

I’ve highlighted some of the repeated names that came out of that ‘Schorr-Kahana’ Karaite marriage…

Shalom Shachna is a particularly common one.

The original ‘Shalom Shachna’ was Rabbi Shalom Shachne Shorr, the father-in-law of R’ Moshe Isserles, the REMA.

This R’ SS Shorr was the Chief Rabbi of Lublin / Lvov, but seemed to have had peculiar karaite tendencies, in how he interpreted Jewish law.

When the case of a Jewish sinner came before him, he decreed that the man should have his eyes gouged out and his tongue ripped out, as punishment.

That’s a karaite interpretation of Torah… which doesn’t hold by the oral Torah. So while the Karaite historian is fudging that side of things, it seems to me that the Shorr family may well have had deep connections to the Karaites even before this open ‘intermarriage’ between Yaakov Kahana and Shalom Shachne’s great-grand-daughter, Reisa Rivka Shorr (aka Charif Margolis).


Also, notice how this same family then also seems to have intermarried with the Oettingen-Wallersteins.

That’s a royal house of non-Jews located in what is now Germany.

None of us know this stuff, I know.

It’s all been hidden from us plebs.

That so many of our Jewish communities ‘leaders’ either spent centuries as open xtians; or were actually Karaites; or even, converted non-Jews (and sometimes, not even converted) as part of the whole ‘Judaising’ movement that periodically convulsed various parts of Europe.



This is such a mess.

And is seems to be affecting so many of those prominent families with yichus in particular.

Which is probably why they’ve tried so hard to keep all this hidden under wraps or centuries.




Something tells me, this is going to be a really longgggg post.

I went to look up more of that Shalom Shachne’s family tree, this time on the JewAge website, that they’ve not done as good a job of scrubbing the facts off of.

Shalom Shachne was married to the ‘unknown’ daughter of Jacob Koppelman Halevi Pollak, and Esther Fiszel.

One of Esther’s brother is called Ephraim Franczek Fiszel, we’ll come back to him another time.

The brother I want to focus on in this update is called Moshe Stefan Fiszel Powditzky.

Here’s a snippet about him:

[He] served as a creditor to kings Jan Olbracht and Aleksandereven before his conversion to Christianity.

In 1494, he represented the interests of the Jewish community in their disputes with non-Jewish residents of Kraków, and in that same year he was arrested with other Kraków Jews.

He served as collector of Jewish taxes in Great Poland (1499, 1503) and as director of the salt storehouse in Poznań (1504).

In 1499, when the Jews of Gniezno accused him of excessive tax collection, he received the support of the archbishop of Gniezno, Cardinal Fryderyk Jagiellończyk.


After converting to Catholicism (between 1503 and 1504); Stefan was ennobled by Zygmunt the Old, receiving the Koran coat of arms. His sons Jan and Stanisław also converted to Catholicism.

Their godmother was Elizabeth, the widow of King Casimir the Jagiellonian.

Stefan divorced his wife, who chose to remain Jewish. In 1510, with the king’s permission, he purchased the village of Powidz, from which he took his new surname, Powidzki.


You see what I mean?

Always the same story:

Tax-collecting, greedy people with Jewish blood, who somehow think nothing of ‘switching religions’ to maintain their status and financial clout in the non-Jewish world, all the while staying connected to the highest echelons of supposedly ‘Jewish’ religious society, via their family ties.

Stefan Powditzky is the brother-in-law of Shalom Shachne Shor, Chief Rabbi of Lvov and the REMA’s father in law.

Did anyone ever teach you that in school, when they were going on and on about just how ‘saintly’ the Jewish community was, in the good old days?


But that’s not the only mischief this extended family network is up to.

(BTW – go check it out for yourselves, they are literally in the middle of almost everything I’ve been flagging as an issue, or trying to track down, over the course of the last year.)

I think I just found the real Jacob Frank.

I knew that the real Jacob Frank HAD to have come from a connected family, in order to pull off what he pulled off.

Finally, God had mercy on me, and I tripped over THIS genealogy site, from Holland, while I was trying to track down more info about Shalom Shachne Shor.

Here’s the screenshot:


So, you see that guy way over on the left hand side, called Jacob Lob Benjamin Frankel (d 1791)?

I am 99.9% sure he is the real Jacob Frank.


His father is Judah Leib Frankel (tick…), his mother is an ‘unnamed’ daughter of R’ Yaakov Shor, who descends from the Shor family via Shalom Shachne Shor (and is probably a ‘secret’ Karaite. He’s the ABD of Lutzk, which you’ll recall from above is a known Karaite stronghold, as is Brody).

These links have been totally scrubbed on geni, and the mythical ‘BABAD’ family have been introduced instead:


His grandfather’s brother was the infamous Elisha Shor (Wolowsky), the ‘leader’ of the secret Sabbatians in the Jewish community.

That’s the guy Jacob Frankel had to convince, that he was the ‘next coming’ of Shabtai Tzvi, and who later converted out to Catholicism along with his children.


On his maternal grandmother’s side, Jacob Frank(el) descends from the Isserles clan, and is 6 generations away from the REMA.

If that wasn’t reason enough to try and cover all the tracks here – and it is – let’s add this in to the mix:

The Baal Shem Tov was also a close relative of Jacob Frank(el).

They had the same gg grandfather, R’ Moshe Leizer’s Isserles of Vilna.


Here’s how that breaks down:

I love it when (finally…) a plan starts to come together.

That’s probably enough head-wrecking info for one post.

It shows that the Vilna Gaon is also connected to the BESHT and Jacob Frank(el).

Here’s how (although I want to flag, that all these ‘half sisters’ are often used to try and camouflage direct links, so it could also be that gg grandfather of BESHT and Jacob Frank, R’ Moshe Leizer’s Isserles of Vilna, is actually also the direct ancestor of the Vilna Gaon, too.)

In the meantime, at the very least, R’ Moshe Leizer’s Isserles of Vilna wife is meant to be the ‘half sister’ of the Vilna Gaon’s ancestor, the Be’er HaGolah, R’ Moshe ‘HaChassid’ Rivka’s.


I’m going to break it down for you, but it’s easy to see there are too many generations on geni, to fit into the time slot.

Jacob Frank(el) dates: 1726-1791

BESHT dates: 1698 -1760 (which suggests that ‘unknown son’, above reaaly could be disinformation…)

Vilna Gaon: 1720-1797

Here’s how geni is breaking that down:

R’ Moshe ‘HaChassid’ Rivka’s, marries the sister of the wife of R’Moshe Leizer’s Isserles of Vilna >

R’ Petakhiah ben Moshe Rivkas > Rachel Nechama Rivkash (marries Eliyahu Chassid Kremer) > R’ Yissachar Dov Ber of Vilna > R’ Shlomo Zalman > VILNA GAON.

Just one big, happy family of Frankists, mitnagdim and chassidim….



There’s some more odd information about Yitzhak ben Tzvi, above.

This comes from HERE:

Together with Rachel Yanait in 1909, he organized a Jewish gymnasium in Jerusalem. 

After studying at the Galatasaray Lyceum in Istanbul, Ben-Zvi studied law at Istanbul University in 1912-1914 with David Ben-Gurion. 

In August 1914, they returned to Palestine, but were arrested by the Turkish authorities in 1915. They moved to New York and formed the Gehalutz movement there.

After returning to Palestine in 1918, Ben-Zvi married Rachel Yanait. They had two sons: Amram and Eli.


Turkey was the home of the Donmeh – the Sabbatian crypto-Jews who outwardly appeared to be Muslims.

There’s strong evidence that many of the ‘Young Turks’ who launched the secular revolution in Turkey (and who also, btw killed a million Armenians….) were actually Sabbatean Donmeh.

David Ben Gurion has long been fingered for being a Sabbatean/Frankist by many other readers, including Barry Hamish.

At least part of that evidence is his hard-to-understand sojourn in Turkey – which we see he shared with Yitzhak Ben-Tzvi.


Next snippet:

In 1948, Ben-Zvi headed the Institute for the Study of Eastern Jewish Communities, later named after him. Among others, the institute studied Karaites and Samaritans.


If you go back and re-read this post, you’ll see that this tie up with the Karaites and Samaritans doesn’t appear to be an accident.

And the weird stuff doesn’t end there.

From the words of Avraham Tehomi, Ben-Zvi ordered the murder of Jacob Israel de Haan in 1924.

De Haan arrived in Palestine as an ardent Zionist but he became increasingly critical of Zionist organizations, preferring a negotiated solution to the armed struggle between Jews and Arabs.

Here is how Tehomi admitted his involvement in the murder more than sixty years later in an interview with Israeli television in 1985:

“I did what the Haganah decided to do. And nothing was done without Yitzhak Ben-Zvi’s order. I don’t regret it, because he [de Haan] wanted to destroy our whole idea of Zionism.” 




Was Yitzhak Ben-Tzvi also a Sabbatean / Frankist, like so many of the other Labour Zionists ruling Israel?

And if yes, when did that ‘Sabbatean / Frankist’ tendency begin, in his family?

A few months’ ago, I happened across an interesting person in Jewish history named Shimshon ben Mordechai of Slonim.

It was back in that period of time when I was writing pieces about the Yichus of Shimon Peres, and the Yichus of Sarah Paritsky, wife of Ben Nitay – the infamous descendent of the Vilna Gaon who was recently booted out as PM in Israel.

What was coming through loud and clear from all that research, at that time, is how all these secular politicians were literally related to each other, and notably to the Vilna Gaon and his small band of, disciples and ‘perushim’.


Back then, we were discovering that any way you sliced a ‘division’ in the Jewish community, you would find members of the exact same three families heading it up.

  • Mitnaged vs chassid…
  • Zionist vs ‘anti’-Zionist…
  • Religious vs secular…
  • Reform vs ultra-orthodox…
  • And probably even
  • Sephardi vs ashkenazi – although standing that one up in real time is something that’s going to take me a huge amount of time to prove, if I ever get around to it.

It comes back to this idea of ‘controlled opposition’, where basically the controllers have to have their people on both sides of the equation, the war, the division, in order to ensure an outcome that can be, well, controlled.


At that point, so many months ago, I tripped over some interesting connections with the Karelitz family of gaonim.

But I decided to shelve them, as I had enough controversy going on at that point.

Well, today I was going to write you a whole long piece explaining how all these PCR tests we are doing in Israel are sending our DNA directly to databases in China – in Wuhan, actually – with the blessing of the corrupt State of Israel.

But somehow, I managed to delete all my tabs again, which I took as a sign that I should write about something else instead.

And then, bizarrely, out of nowhere, I ‘tripped over’ all the information about Shimshon ben Mordechai of Slonimthat I decided to shelve, six months ago.


Lots has happened since then.

Like this, for example:

So, I decided that shemayim decided I should write this stuff today, so people can decide for themselves what might be going on here, in the family-run mafia aka the State of Israel.


Let’s start with the Wikipage for Shimshon ben Mordechai of Slonim, full as it is with deliberate misdirection.

There, we learn the following:

Shimshon (Samson) ben Mordechai of Slonim (c. 1734/1736 – 1794), was an 18th-century rabbi, philosopher, mathematician, and scientist.

He was one of the leaders of Haskalah and the Misnagdim, and was greatly influenced by the Vilna Gaon. He was the Av Beit Din of Slonim and Königsberg and is thought to have been descended from Shimshon Loew ben Bezalel, the Maharal of Prague’s brother through his grandson, Samson ben Pesah Ostropoli.


Straight off the bat, please notice we are back in ‘Maharal of Prague’ territory.

Honestly, we nearly always are.

Let’s get the easy stuff out the way first.

First, let’s define what the Haskalah actually was (from Wikipedia):

The Haskalah, often termed Jewish Enlightenment (Hebrew: השכלה‎; literally, “wisdom”, “erudition” or “education”), was an intellectual movement among the Jews of Central and Eastern Europe, with certain influence on those in Western Europe and the Muslim world. It arose as a defined ideological worldview during the 1770s, and its last stage ended around 1881, with the rise of Jewish nationalism.


In other words, Reform Judaism, zionism and mass conversion, atheism and Jewish apostasy all flowed from this same well of ‘Haskalah’, culminating in the creation of the State of Israel.

And this guy, Shimshon ben Mordechai of Slonim, was somehow bang in the middle of enthusiastically pushing all that along.


Perhaps, then, you’ll find it a little strange to learn that Shimshon ben Mordechai of Slonim’s descendants include the Chazon Ish and R’ Chaim Kanievsky.

Here’s how that goes, in descending order:

Now, all sorts of strange things happen in families, it’s true.

But I find it very surprising that an early ‘leader of the haskalah’ should have had descendants who not only stayed within the orthodox fold, but who also rose to become the defacto ‘leaders’ of the orthodox Jewish world in Eretz Yisrael.

Because mostly, the kids of these early leaders of the haskalah converted out, or apostosized faster than you can say “the haskalah was created by Frankist families who stayed within the Jewish community.”

But looky, here, the chasdai Hashem!

Not only did this branch of haskalah reformers stay frum, they were also able to give Am Yisrael such tremendous guidance in these dark times, especially in relation to the very complex question of whether it’s safe to take the Covid 19 experimental gene therapy, that includes biotoxic graphene oxide.

Truly, it’s outstanding.

But let’s continue, as I told you, getting this stuff out the way is the easy bit of unpicking what’s going on here.


Let’s just take a quick detour to see who the Chazon Ish is connected to on his mother’s side.

Here we discover that Rasha’s father is one R’ Shaul Katzenelenbogen (1828 – 1891) who happened to change his family name to Katzenelenbogen, from Epstein.

It’s weird that he changed the family name to that for a lot of reasons, not least that his great-grandfather was a very highly esteemed Rav named R’ Aryeh Leib HaLevi Epstein.

Why would people who are SO into their yichus want to somehow ‘hide’ their connection to R’ Aryeh Leib HaLevi Epstein?

Let’s see if we can find out.


(BTW, I’m doing this ‘live’ as it were, so I have no idea where all this is going to end up. But I have the feeling, it’s going to be an interesting ride.)

If we go to the Hebrew Wikipedia page for R’ Aryeh Leib HaLevi Epstein (1708-1775) (which always seems to be more factually correct and less doctored, at least for Torah sages), we learn the following nuggets:

  • He served as the Rabbi of Koenigsburg for 30 years.
  • He was born in Grodno, to R Mordechai Epstein (aka ‘Mordechai Wilner’) – that’s interesting, because the Vilner Gaon’s descendants went by the name ‘Wilner’, including this one: R’ Mordcha Motel Marcus Mordechai Wilner.)
  • The Karelitz family have been intermarrying with this particular branch of the Epstein / Katzenelenbogen family for generations.
  • He wrote 23 books on the kabbalah, including one called ‘Ha Pardes‘.
  • The Vilna Gaon only gave 3 haskamas in his life to books – and two of these are to books written by R’ Aryeh Leib HaLevi Epstein.
  • He was a very close friend of Yonatan Eibshutz
  • There is a very strong ‘Vilna’ dimension to all this.


Let’s see if we can try to unpick this some more.

If we head back to Geni, we discover that Mordechai Epstein had a few other children, including one called Zeev Wolf HaLevy Epstein.

What I immediately notice as I’m clicking around is that so many of these relatives have been hidden behind the ‘private’ label – which is kinda weird. I mean, it’s almost 300 years ago, so what are they trying to hide, here?

I know from past experience that these interesting families always try to marry each other, so when I see that the daughter of Zeev Wolf, one Rivka, marries an unidentified ‘Aryeh Leib’…. well. I get the feeling that it’s her uncle, OUR Aryeh Leib HaLevy Epstein, author of HaPardes.

But why would they try to cover that up?



One possible clue is that ‘Aryeh Leib’ is meant to be the son of Rabbi Shmuel, the last ABD of Vilna.

If you go back to THIS post, you’ll get more of the background about the huge ruckus that was going on in Vilna during the tenure of the Vilna Gaon, which saw the kahal and the chief Rabbi – this Shmuel ben Avigdor – fighting a pitched battle for control for more than 30 years.

That whole episode has been totally distorted and misreported, historically, because I think it’s at the heart of so much of the ‘Frankist takeover’ of our modern Jewish world. But here’s the bit I want you to focus on, for now:

  • The real identity of ‘Rabbi Shmuel ben Avigdor‘ – the Chief Rabbi of Vilna, at the time of the Vilna Gaon, and the son-in-law of wealthy shtadlan ‘Rabbi Yehuda ben Eliezer Safra deVayana’ – has also been deliberately hidden.


If Aryeh Leib Epstein’s dad is ‘Rabbi Shmuel’, that makes ‘Rabbi Shmuel’ = Mordechai Epstein, aka Mordechai Wilner.

And that makes Aryeh Leib’s mother the daughter of ‘R’ Yehuda ben Eliezer Safra deVayana.

And if that’s the only mystery we clear up today, then dayenu. But I don’t think it will be.

Eliakim Getzel’, the one child not marked as ‘private’ is an unusual name, and it leads us straight back into the midst of the interesting families I’ve fingered previously as being made-up pseudonyms for Sabbatean-Frankists, who were trying to cover their genealogical tracks.

But let’s leave that there, for now, because I want to get back to the connections between Aryeh Leib Epstein, Shimshon ben Mordechai of Slonim, and the mysterious Vilna Gaon.


First, here’s a snippet from the Yizkor book for the community of Ciechanowiec, in Poland.

(Bear with me – all this will come together by the end of the post. I hope.)

The close ties between the Vilna Gaon and Ciechanowiec found their source in Rabbi David Saul Katzenelbogen, Head of the Court in Ciechanowiec.

Rabbi David had four sons named after four animals. They were Zvi Hersch, Ze’ev Wolf, Aryeh Leib, and Dov Ber.

Of these, Aryeh Leib was the comrade of the Vilna Gaon.

There is a standard edition of the Hebrew Bible with many commentaries known as the Mikraot Gedolot, which includes a commentary of the Vilna Gaon entitled Aderet Eliyahu (Mantle of Elijah). In the section dealing with Leviticus we find, “When the Vilna Gaon was ten years old he had a companion closer than a brother, that famed Gaon, our Master and Rabbi Aryeh Leib of Ciechanowiec.”…

So close was the friendship between these two scholars that the Vilna Gaon subsequently named his firstborn son Yehuda Leib after Aryeh Leib of Ciechanowiec.


Is ‘Aryeh Leib Epstein’, author of HaPardes, whose books got two of only three haskamot the Vilna Gaon ever wrote, the same as this ‘Aryeh Leib Katzenelenbogen of Ciechanowiec’?

Who was apparently such a close bosom buddy of the Vilna Gaon, he even named his firstborn son in his honor?

It’s at least possible.

If you take a look at the geni screenshot below, you’ll see that, just like R’ David Saul Katzenelenbogen, R’ Mordechai Epstein (Wilner) also has: four sons named after four animals. They were Zvi Hersch, Ze’ev Wolf, Aryeh Leib, and Dov Ber.


So now, we can add another pseudonym into the mix:

R’ David Saul Katzenelenbogen of Ciechanowiec = R’ Mordechai Epstein (Wilner) = R’ Shmuel ben Avidgor, the last ABD of Vilna.

But let’s get back to Shimshon ben Mordechai of Slonim, because there is still more secrets hiding out over there.

In around 1765, Ichile Ginshpriker, son of Aryeh Leib Epstein, arranged for his first cousin, Basha bat Ze’ev Wolf and Shimshon to be married. They married on 26 October 1765.

In 1769, Shimshon got a seat in Slonim as an Av Beit Din (Chief Rabbinical Judge). He kept this position until around 1791. Shimshon became part of the movement of Haskalah.

When he became Av Beit Din in Slonim, he began to spread the concept of Haskalah throughout the city. He is regarded as the first Chief Rabbi to do so in Slonim.


Hey, small world or what!

And if we’re right that Basha’s sister Rivka married her uncle, Aryeh Leib, that would make Aryeh Leib Epstein and Shimshon ben Mordechai brothers-in-law.

Shimshon had a library of around 250 to 300 books that he had collected on his journeys to Hamburg and other cities. People such as the Vilna Gaon and Solomon Maimon came to Slonim to borrow books from his library. Among Shimshon’s prized possessions was the unpublished work, Bosmat Bat Shelomoh by the rabbi, Joseph Solomon Delmedigo.


More strange links with the Vilna Gaon.

And also, pay attention to that guy Joseph Solomon Delmedigo.

He is one of the main people who introduced Copernicus’s ideas of scientific ‘sun worship’ into the orthodox Jewish community.

Delmedigo’s daughter Sarah married straight into the Oppenheimer clan – and yes, we get straight back to all these fabulously wealthy ‘chief rabbi / tax collectors’ who used to be xtians but are now, conveniently, Jewish again.

Are you starting to see how all this is connected – and has been for centuries?

Meeting with Baruch Schick of Shklov

In 1778, upon the recommendation of the Vilna Gaon, Baruch Schick of Shklov (1744-1808) journeyed to Slonim to ask Shimshon to write an approbation to the first ever Hebrew translation of Euclid’s Elements, Sefer Oklidus. Shimshon agreed and wrote part of the introduction to the book.


Baruch Shick was one of the early ‘reformers’ who was hanging out in Joshua Zeitlin’s mansion.

Now, here‘s another interesting potential link:

Joshua Zeitlin (1742 in ShklovBelarus – August 18, 1822, in KhersonNovorossiya) was a Russian rabbinical scholar and philanthropist. He was a pupil of the Talmudist Rabbi Aryeh Leib ben Asher Gunzberg who was the author of Sha’agat Aryeh;


The Sha’agat Aryeh is a fabricated persona.

That doesn’t mean that he didn’t exist, but it DOES mean that I haven’t been able to track down any real details for him, in real life.

Now I’m reading this, and I’m starting to ponder:

Could Aryeh Leib Epstein (HaPardes), aka Aryeh Leib Katzenelenbogen (the Vilna Gaon’s bestest buddy), also be one and the same as Aryeh Leib, the Sha’agat Aryeh?

I started writing a very long post about all the lies being told about the Sha’agat Aryeh a few months ago, which I abandoned. Maybe, it’s time to revisit it, in light of all this new info.

Let’s continue, because we still didn’t get to the most weird bit of the story.



Jeremy Bentham’s visit

In 1787, the English philosopher, Jeremy Bentham, was going to visit his brother, Samuel in Krichev, when he spent the night in Slonim.

As he writes in his journal, all of the inns were full, so he was forced to spend the night with a rabbi who also kept a hardware store.

He goes on to describe the rabbi’s home and that he had two bookcases with “not fewer than 250 or 300 Vols.”. Bentham also talked about how the rabbi possessed a copy of Euclid’s Elements as well as a manuscript on astronomy which contained a diagram, that was the rabbi’s own work.


Say what?!?!

Since when did orthodox Rabbis in Eastern Europe just let random English philosophers stay in their house?!?

Say what?!?!

And not just any old non-Jewish philosopher, but Jeremy Bentham, the guy who endowed his body to the University of London to be dissected in the interests of science – on condition they’d hang his embalmed body in a glass case over the university entrance.

Apparently, it’s still there today. And even weirder, another condition Bentham made with the university is that his:

“body had to be present at all board meetings and deference paid to it by a salute of some sort at the beginning of each meeting.”

THIS is the guy, that Rav Kanievsky’s ancestor was hanging out with?!?

Say what?!?!?


One more thing that strikes me, is that it’s very possible that this ‘Shimshon ben Mordechai of Slonim’ is also made up, and could just be another coverstory for Aryeh Leib Epstein, aka the Sha’agat Aryeh.

Although here in the ‘real world’, it seems to be Shimshon that has the illustrious descendants, that really means nothing.

The rest of the story is just so 2-D – when it’s not outrageously fake – it’s pretty hard to imagine it could be a true biographical account.


Let’s stop there for now, although I could literally go on unpicking all the lies and distortions for months and years….

In case you haven’t realised it yet, they have been lying to us and deceiving about real Jewish history, and about who our leaders really were in the past, and who they really still might be today.

Probably, we’re not going to know who the Vilna Gaon really was, or why they are lying about people like ‘Shimshon ben Mordechai of Slonim’, nor why they are changing the names of so many of our Jewish leaders from the past wholesale, and expunging their genealogies – until Moshiach shows up.

But what I can tell you is this:

Don’t let a person’s yichus, or even their reputation for Torah learning fool you into brainlessly following a psak that is mamash endangering your life, and the life of your children and relatives.

Nothing is what it seems right now.


And the only clarity available right now, is that which comes from within your own soul.

With a title like that, anything is possible…

So, over Shabbat, I read through THIS part of the 6th Lubavitcher Rebbe’s memoirs in English.

It’s a second edition, and many facts and details have been changed and / or omitted from the original, so I made some notes to try to track down who the 6th Lubavitcher Rebbe, R’ Yosef Yitzhak Shneerson, was really talking about.

To keep the bat as straight as possible, I’m first just going to quote a few of the things that took my eye.

And then, we’ll concentrate on Mad Martin, the Belarussian ‘Dracula’.

Here we go.


From page 25, part of a discussion about an organised underground group of ‘kabbalist mystics’ who are spreading out across Eastern Europe, to help people ‘reach a higher spiritual levell:

“And don’t imagine…that each of these mystics is merely following his own particular plan. I can tell you positively that every one of them has had his ‘mission’ assigned to him and has been told in which area is his ‘sphere of influence’. Taken collectively, they all form part or a large, comprehensive whole, with its inspiration emanating from their chief.

“This particular society of people,” continued Wolf, in a way that showed he knew all there was to know about it, and even as if he were also one of them, “is quite an old one. It was first established by the tzaddik, the gaon, Rabbi Eliyahu Baal Shem of Wurms, Germany. Thus the movement is about one hundred and ten years old.

“Rabbi Eliyahu Baal Shem established this society upon the request of a certain Kabbalist, whose identity is unknown to this day. We are told that this Kabbalist requested that chosen gaonim and tzaddikim, who would be prepared to dedicate their whole lives to this sacred work, should be sent out among the poor, simple, uneducated and unawakened Jews, and make them aware of their Creator, and of the spiritual values in life.

“It was about the year 5381 (1621) or 5383 (1623) that this society was established by Rabbi Eliyahu Baal Shem, and ever since, thousands and thousands of ordinary Jews have been brought back to the service of G-d!”


Some historical context, to help you connect the dots for yourself:

Rabbi Israel ben Sarah, the Baal Shem Tov (BESHT) was only born in 1698.

This ‘particular society of people’, apparently started up by ‘Rabbi Eliyahu Baal Shem’ was operating for 75 years before the BESHT was even alive.

Even more interestingly, the standard dates given for ‘Shabtai Tzvi’ say he was born in 1626 – three years before this ‘particular society of people’ apparently started to operate across Jewish Eastern Europe.

So, who exactly were this ‘particular society of people’, and where did their teachings really come from?


Next, I tried to pin down who ‘Eliyahu Baal Shem of Wurms’ actually is, in real life.

In various places, he’s described as the ‘grandfather’ or sometimes the ‘great-grandfather’ of none other than the Chacham Tzvi.

While I’m trying to sort out which version is correct (which looks like it’s going to be a pretty long job…) I did manage to find ‘Eliyahu Baal Shem of Wurms’ in real life.

If you go to Wikipedia, HERE, you’ll find an entry for one ‘Eliezer Loans’.

Here’s a snippet:

(Note: ‘Virmyze’ is another spelling of ‘Wurms’)

Elijah ben Moses Ashkenazi Loans also known as Elijah Ba’al Shem of Virmyze (1555 – July 1636) was a German rabbi and Kabbalist.

He was born in Frankfurt-am-Main. He belonged to the family of Rashi, on his mother’s side was the grandson of Johanan Luria, and on his father’s of Josel of Rosheim. After having studied in his native city under the direction of Jacob Ginzburg and Akiba Frankfort, Loans went to Cracow, where he attended the lectures of Menahem Mendel. While there he prepared for publication the “Darke Mosheh” of Moses Isserles. At the beginning of the seventeenth century Loans was called to the rabbinate of Fulda, which he left in 1612, occupying successively the rabbinates of Hanau, Friedberg (1620), and Worms (1630), in which last-named city he remained until his death.

Loans was a diligent student of Kabbalah, and for this reason was surnamed “Ba’al Shem.” He was also accomplished in music and calligraphy, and various legends circulated regarding his personality…

Loans also edited the “‘Ammude Shelomoh” of Solomon Luria on the “Semag” (Basel, 1599), and the “Sha’are Dura” of Isaac ben Meïr of Dueren, to which he wrote a preface.


But if you go to Wikipedia HERE, you’ll find another ‘mirror image’ profile for ‘Elijah Ba’al Shem of Chełm‘:

Elijah Ba’al Shem (1550 – 1583) was a Polish rabbi and kabbalist who served as chief rabbi of Chełm. One of the most eminent Talmudists of his generation, he is recorded as the first person known by the epithet “Ba’al Shem” having been considered a great saint and believed to have used miraculous powers to create a golem.

Elijah was born to his father Aaron Judah in 1550. About 1565 he entered the yeshiva of Rabbi Solomon Luria of Lublin, and, after receiving his rabbinical ordination, became rabbi of Chełm, a position he would hold for the rest of his life. In 1564, he gathered with other prominent rabbis, including his teacher, to co-sign the halachic rulings which allowed an agunah to remarry.

His great-granddaughter married Rabbi Ephraim ha-Kohen (1616–1678), author of “Sha’ar Efrayim” and grandfather of Rabbi Tzvi Ashkenazi.


There’s a few things to notice.

Firstly, ‘Elijah Ba’al Shem of Chelm’ appears to have died pretty young and is recorded as having no gravestone, despite having apparently risen from the dead during his funeral to make a church sink into the ground.

That’s pretty weird, as we Jews venerate our saints, and visit their tombs.

So, it’s at least possible that these two ‘Elijah Baal Shems’ are really one and the same person.

The second thing is the connection between these two Elijahs, and Rabbi Solomon Luria of Lublin, (the MAHARSHAL) who apparently lived between 1510-1573.

At least one of these Elijahs married the MAHARSHAL’s daughter, while another version has the MAHARSHAL marrying Elijah of Chelm’s daughter – which would be quite a feat, considering that even if the Baal Shem of Chelm got married at 13 and immediately had children, his oldest child would only be 10 years old when the MAHARSHAL died.


According to the Freidiker Rebbe (page 34), ‘Rabbi Eliyahu Baal Shem’s father was:

“A certain Spanish Jew named Yosef Jospa“, who arrived in Cracow aged 50 years old, either in 5261 (1501) or 5265 (1505), and then married 30 years later, apparently aged 80 (!)

Elijah Loans grandpa is one Josel (Yosef) of Rosheim (1476 – 1554), who according to Wiki,

“Was considered as the most important advocate of the Jews in the Holy Roman Empire of the German Nation.”

This Yosel / Yosef styled himself ‘commander-in-chief’ of Germany Jewry, and is a very interesting character.

This subject of who ‘R’ Eliyahu Baal Shem of Wurms’ really was requires a lot more clarification, and we’ll come back to it another time.


Because now, I want to leave the Freideriker Rebbe’s ‘Baal Shems’ alone for a bit, and take a look at another strange story.

It starts in Chapter 30 (page 127) of the Freideriker’s memoirs, called ‘Prince Radziville and His Jewish Friend’.

Earlier in the memoirs, the Freideriker explains how a place called ‘Harki’ is the secret central headquarters of these ‘kabbalist mystics’ who are wondering all over Eastern Europe spreading their unidentified creed that predates the Baal Shem Tov’s chassidut by at least a hundred years.

The nearest I can find to a real ‘Harki’ is the city of Kharkiv, in Ukraine, but that apparently only had a Jewish community dating from the 1750s on, which doesn’t ‘fit’ the time frame in the memoirs. Otherwise, I can’t seem to find a real-life ‘Harki’.

Here’s a snippet:

Harki belonged to one of the Polish princes of the Radziwill family. He very rarely showed himself in these parts, spending most of his time in France. His estates just outside Harki were very valuable, including large forests which stretched for miles.

“One of these young noblemen of the Radziville family was named Benedict. He had a good friend in France, named Pierre Louis, who came from an assimilated Jewish family, had no connections with any Jews, and barely knew of his own Jewish origin.

“Benedict married into the princely Russian family Demitrov who owned large estates in Russa, and palaces in Moscow. When he settled on the estates of his wife’s family, he brought his young friend of Jewish descent with him, as they were inseparable.”


So, as part of trying to track down this real-life ‘Harki’, I started searching for Radziwill princes with Jewish ‘friends’.

And here’s where the story spirals off into crazy world.

There’s one person, one ‘Radziwill Prince’ who came up, in the right area, at the right time, with Jewish connections.

But he’s mamash not someone you’d want to boast about.

Read on.


First, here’s the ‘official’ Polish Wikipedia information about one ‘Martin Nicolai Radziwill’:

(I’ll do a compare and contrast with the English info in a moment, the below is Google translated from Polish, so it sounds a bit clunky).

Well-educated and erudite in his youth, [Martin] engaged in medicine, physics and alchemy in Lithuania [Vilna] After his father died, he inherited numerous estates.

At a young age, he began to betray the symptoms of a mental disorder. He probably inherited it from his father John Santa. Over time, the disease began to drive him crazy. He imprisoned his second wife, along with his sons, for several years in an unfurnished room.

He also founded a harem consisting of abducted or purchased girls and imprisoned captured girls.

He looted and set fire to the surrounding estates, practised robberies on the roads, abducted, imprisoned [and executed] people. 

In his laboratory, he was looking for the Philosopher’s stone. He also took the talmud course and learned Hebrew, surrounded himself exclusively with Jews and observes religious practices with them.



I thought to myself, when I stumbled over this.

I think I’ve found a possible ‘real life’ candidate for ‘Benedict Radziville’, the good friend of the Jews. Maybe, he’s also connected to the mysterious ‘Abraham ben Abraham’, aka Count Potocki, the ger tzedek of Vilna…

Sure, the ‘mental illness’ and ‘harem’ stuff sounded a little troubling, but I thought perhaps this was some Polish anti-semitism raising its head. I decided to do some more research, to see what I could find.

And that’s when I tripped over reams and reams of stories – all in Belarussian – describing how this Radziwille prince was heavily into practising satanic rituals, and ‘dark’ kabbalah – you know, all the stuff the Sabbean-Sabbatean-Frankist-Freemason nexus is so fond of.

Here’s a translated snippet, from HERE:


[Martin Radziwill] had no friends at the Vilna Academy, but when he played the violin, a crowd gathered under the windows of the house. He divided his free time between the library and the dens. Then, according to custom, went to travel around Europe.

Looks like that’s where he got into alchemy. That’s what they called it — Science, with a capital letter. Martin returned to his homeland, locked himself in his estate in Chernavchitsy, in the Brest region. What happened there is comparable to the legends that arose around the castles of Dracula and Gilles de Retz.

Martin Radziwill started mining the Philosopher’s Stone. Clerics, tycoons, and even our Francysk Skaryna became fans of this process. Fortunes flew through the crucible tube, reputations collapsed…


Martin’s court alchemist, a certain Grabovsky, helped the prince in every possible way. He introduced him to his aunt, a practicing witch. And gradually, the noble practice of alchemy, which was not disdained even in monasteries, in the laboratories of the Chernavchitsky pan [prince], more and more resembled Satanic practices.

Not just chemical ingredients were used, but fragments of animals and even human corpses.

The prince, who was increasingly losing his mind because of his failures, learned about Kabbalah and wanted to master this powerful knowledge. On his orders, rabbis were brought to Chernavchitsy, who were supposed to teach the prince their wisdom.


Long story short….

The guy sounded like a precursor for all the really yucky stuff connected to ritual abuse and murder that I’ve previously covered in posts like THIS.

And this is the guy, the Radziwill Prince, who is hanging out with ‘the Jews’?!?!?

How is that even possible?

That’s when I remembered THIS post, about the ‘Bad Baal Shem‘ of London, Samuel Hayyim Falk (1710-1782) father-in-law of none other than Jacob Frank,

Relevant snippet below:


Samuel Falk is living in Podhajce, Poland – known as a hotbed of Sabbateans – while his son-in-law Jacob Frank was born in Korolowka, just 40 kms up the road, also to a Sabbatean family…

Falk is good friends with someone called Moses David of Podhajce, who is a notorious Sabbatean. These two hang out together doing ‘practical kabbalah’ – which we’ve already established is effectively black magic.

Falk then moves from Podhajce to Furth in Germany – which was also known as a hotbed of secret Sabbateans – and from this point on, his reputation as a ‘Baal Shem’ starts to take off.

He shows up in Westphalia claiming to be able to heal the sick, find buried treasure, and to have the secret of how to turn metal into gold.
Falk is writing cabbalistic amulets for the people who flock to be healed by him, which also includes members of the non-Jewish landed gentry, like Count Rantzow.


Here’s what Rantzow wrote about him:

“[M]y father frequently received the renowned prince and High Priest [sic] of the Jews, by the name of Hayim Samuel Falk. My father told me that this prince [sic] considers himself to be a scion of the line of King David.”

Falk then starts quoting the New Testament at Count Rantzow, and then Rantzow recounts some of the (black magic…) miracles he’s told about, by another of Falk’s gentrified friends, Baron von Donop…

Donop tells Rantzow how Falk conjured up an ‘angel’ (aka demon…) when he brought him to his estate.

Then, he walked through his gardens, and said: “’I want to make you richer.’

He drew a circle and held in his hand a 30 ft long parchment scroll filled with letters. He prayed in Hebrew, and I immediately saw that a fire issued forth from the ground and rose to a height of 7 or 8 feet.”

Then, Donop continues that the ground had opened by an oak tree, where he could see an enormous quantity of gold by its roots.
Falk does other ‘black magic’ miracles for him, too, like making knives fly through the air, and performing ceremonies where ‘spirits’ suddenly fill empty parchments with writing.

Donop concludes:

“The greater my repugnance for this person, who is so renowned, the greater is my sense of trust in him.”


After spending a few years ‘finding gold’ for various members of the landed gentry (and it’s rumored, also the Jesuits) – Falk is charged with witchcraft and sorcery, and is forced to flee Europe before he’s burnt at the stake for being a wizard.

Where does he show up next?


And in London, the Spanish and Portuguese community greet him with open arms, and he quickly gets chummy with expat German banking Jews (and secret Sabbatians….), including Aaron and George Goldschmid, contemporaries of Nathan Mayer Rothschild.

He also maintained close contact with the Chief Rabbi of England:

Rabbi David Tavli (our Rabbi and Teacher David Tavli the son of Shlomo Zalman HaKohen Shiff).”



We’ll stop there for now.

Again, the people who have hijacked the Jewish community, and who have thrust themselves into so very many of our leadership positions – for centuries, already – are Erev Rav.

The hypothesis I’m fleshing out here is that they are some sort of anti-Torah ‘Sabean‘ throwback, who have been pretending to be Jews – and xtians and muslims and Druze, and whatever else suits their purposes – for millenia.

These people really are doing so much of what the anti-semites accuse the real Jews of doing.

But they and their beliefs aren’t really ‘Jewish’ at all – and the Jewish community has to start that very painful process of finally identifying, and splitting away from, all this evil in our midst.

Let the truth finally be told.

Let the chips fall where they will.

And let Moshiach come the sweetest, and easiest way possible.

I have a deal with my husband that I can’t be ‘the first’ to put sensitive information out there.

Mostly for spiritual reasons, he’s totally right.

Which is why I’ve been in a big bind the last few months, figuring things out that apparently no-one else knows.

It wasn’t an accident.

I picked it up, and smashed it really hard, twice, on the floor, so I wouldn’t have to keep getting into arguments with my husband about the dangers – mostly spiritual – associated with all this ‘research’ I keep finding myself doing.


That same day, he went to get me a new one, and told me to continue researching – but not to be the first that publishes sensitive information.

I left the PC in a box for 5 days, as I really, really didn’t want to get back into all this.

But then… after a lot of praying, and a lot of soul-searching, I came to the conclusion that God really does want all this to come out, somehow, because otherwise, how do we rectify ‘the world of lies’ and turn it around into the world of truth?

So, the last few days I’ve been writing up one family tree after another again.

It’s truly exhausting work, on a number of levels, not least because there are so many ‘alter egos’ and multiple personalities going on, where one person has two, or even three, or even four names – and a different family tree associated with each – that sometimes I literally can’t speak by the end of the day.

But I have the feeling that all this needs to come out as fast as possible, and so I’m continuing.


Today, I finally got a massive breakthrough.

When I fired up the new computer, I decided to switch my browser to the Russian language Yandex, which seems to be censoring things less, or at least, censoring the things that I’m interested in less.

Long story short, I was trying to fill in some ‘gaps’ in a particular family tree – that I will tell you more about another time – when I literally stumbled across the real family tree for the Alter Rebbe’s ancestors.

All of the details for that family tree, all the information I’m pasting up below, come from the memoirs of one Rabbi J.J. Schneerson.

I am not the first one putting it out there, and before someone started wildly censoring and fabricating Jewish history, this was apparently public information.

So with that intro, let’s get on with.

Note: I’m playing a very straight bat in this post, just putting the info out there.

We can discuss it’s implications another time.

This is a screenshot for the Alter Rebbe’s family tree.

It shows clearly that his father was: Israel Boruch Loewy Pauzner (1721-1790), and that his mother’s name is Rivka Shor.

In the official Chabad write-ups for the Alter Rebbe’s family, the surname of his mother’s family is never given.

Here’s a snippet – in the original Hebrew first, with my translation:

Now, you might ask what’s the big deal with the surname?

Why leave it off?

For the answer to that question, we have to return to what happened with the infamous ‘Shor’ family.

This comes from HERE – the very first post I wrote, trying to track down ‘Real Jewish History’:


The Shor family was one of the most well-known in Galicia, and intermarried with many of the biggest rabbinical dynasties.

Sadly, they were also hardcore secret Shabbatians, and when Jacob Frank came along, the family ‘came out’ publically.

You can read more about them HERE. Here’s a taster:

“ELISHA SCHOR, the first known of the ramified Wolowski family, was a descendant of Zalman Naphtali Schor, rabbi of *Lublin. For many years Elisha Schor held the position of Maggid in the community of *Rogatin….

The children of Elisha Schor, Solomon, Nathan, Lipman, Hayyah, and their families adhered to the Frankist sect, until their conversion to Christianity in 1759, when they changed their name to Wolowski (Pol. wol = Heb. shor). They held various positions in the court of Jacob Frank in Poland and in Offenbach.”


The Shor family got ‘airbrushed’ out of Jewish history now, so it’s hard tracking them all down. Suffice to say, that while some Schors openly became Frankists and then converted to Catholicism, other members of the family continued to stay within the Jewish community – and many of them continued to be ‘secret Shabbateans’.


So, if the Alter Rebbe’s mother was ‘Rivka Shor’, daughter of Chaim Avraham Shor, son of Naftali Hirsch Shor, son of Oyzer Shor, son of Avraham Chaim Shor….


You can see the problem.



(As a side note, the ‘Schor’ family are a renamed branch of the ancient ‘Treves’ family. But more about that another time.)


So now, that ‘Margela Mirele Schorr’ that I highlighted above can be found ‘in real life’.


Her father is listed as one R’ Jacob Shor, ABD Lutzk, Brest-Litvosk (Brisk) and Brody.

And she married Rabbi Eliezer Lippman Heilprin, the ABD of Tarnogrod (1630-1695), and had a LOT of kids.

Now, we have the right time frame for ‘Avraham Chaim Shor’ and his sister Margola, and the rest of their siblings including Ephraim Zalman “Tevias Shor” – roughly between 1630-1695. 

That’s important, because so many of the dates are being deliberately fudged and distorted, to make it easier to see how everyone is really related.

Let’s get back to that ‘Elisha Schor’, from above, who was one of Jacob Frank’s closest lieutenants, and who converted out to Catholicism, together with most of his family. Here’s a bit more about him, from the Jewish Encyclopaedia website, HERE:


WOLOWSKI (Schor), Christian family in Poland of Jewish origin. In 1755–56, its members joined the *Frankists, after which they converted to Catholicism. Until the 1830s the Wolowski family exclusively married apostate Frankists, but subsequently they also contracted mixed marriages.

ELISHA SCHOR, the first known of the ramified Wolowski family, was a descendant of Zalman Naphtali Schor, rabbi of *Lublin. For many years Elisha Schor held the position of Maggid in the community of *Rogatin, and was among the leaders of Shabbateanism in the southeastern sector of the Polish kingdom.

In 1755, with his sons and his son-in-law Hirsch Shabbetais, the husband of his daughter Hayyah, he joined the sect of Jacob Frank, whom he regarded as the loyal successor of Shabbateanism.

It was at Elisha’s initiative and with his participation that the disputation with the rabbis was held at *Kamenets Podolski in June 1757; he also signed the Patshegen ha-Ta’anot ve-ha-Teshuvot (“Summary of the Arguments and the Replies”). After the death of Bishop M. Dembowski, the patron of the Frankists, Elisha was compelled in the autumn of 1757 to flee across the Turkish border with his followers. He died there during a popular outbreak against the members of the sect.

The children of Elisha Schor, Solomon, Nathan, Lipman, Hayyah, and their families adhered to the Frankist sect, until their conversion to Christianity in 1759, when they changed their name to Wolowski (Pol. wol = Heb. shor). They held various positions in the court of Jacob Frank in Poland and in Offenbach.


HERE‘s the family tree that shows that Elisha Shor was the great-grandson of Ephraim Zalman, the ‘Tevuot Shor’:


(Another side note: there is confusion about whether the author of the ‘Tevuot Shor‘ is called ‘Ephraim Zalman Shor’ or ‘Alexander Sender Shor. My best guess at this point is that ‘Alexander Sender Shor’ was originally developed as an alter ego, to spare the family’s blushes over Elisha Wolowski. And that this ‘alter ego’ name has been deployed many times now, in many different generations. More on that another time.)


Rivka Shor – the Alter Rebbe’s mother – was the same generation as Elisha Shor (Wolowksy), notorious Sabbatean and lieutenant of Jacob Frank who scandalously converted out to Catholicism with his whole family.


Obviously, just belonging to these families doesn’t automatically make someone ‘bad’.

But it has to be stressed that most of the extended Shor family were known to be Sabbateans, and that they continued to adhere to the tenets of Shabtai Tzi long after he died.

That’s why they were so fast to embrace Jacob Frank, and Frankism, who presented himself as the ‘reincarnated soul’ of Shabtai Tzvi in his generation, which was part and parcel of the Sabbatean belief system.

It also has to be stressed that these ‘secret Sabbatians’ had a practise of marrying each other – something that was continue by the Frankists, later on.

Let’s continue, because mind-blowing as all this is, there’s something every MORE interesting to tell you about.


So, after I saw that the Alter Rebbe’s maternal family tree ties him straight into the Sabbatean-Frankist network, via his mother Rivka Shor, I went back to check out his father’s family.

And here’s where I found something that for me, is even more extraordinary.


The following comes from the description on that JewAge site, above, for ‘Baruch Batlan Portugali’, from the memoirs of one Rabbi J.J. Schneerson:

(AKA, the 6th Rebbe of Chabad).

A disciple and follower of R. Joel Baal-Shem of Zamosch. 

Lived in Poznań. R. Baruch-Batlan then lived with his family on the Portuguese Street in Poznań. This street got its name from the fact that it was inhabited mainly by refugees from Portugal-Jews who fled from the inquisition. The street was beautiful, and there were imposing buildings on it. The house in which R. Baruch-Batlan lived belonged to the famous rich man, goldsmith Avigdor-Tuvya and his wife Sarah-Gitl. 

In addition to the owners of the house, seven other families lived there, all well-to-do, pious and Talmudic Jews. R. Baruch-Batlan lived in this house for thirty years… R. Baruch-Batlan was the first to start looking for another apartment. A few months later, he built his own house on Synagogue Street and moved there with his family. Besides his great learning and righteousness, he was also a large and wealthy merchant.


I never heard of this ‘Baal Shem of Zamosc’ before, so I went to look him up.

HERE‘s who is ‘in real life, Rabbi Joel Heilprin, ABD of Ostrog and Lvov.’:


His brother, Eliezer Lippman Heilprin is the one married to Margola Shor, above.

Like I said, it’s a very small world.

I never heard of this particular ‘Baal Shem’ before, and something tells me I’m going to be researching this guy for a while to come.


But this is some of what I learned about him from Wikipedia:

Yoel Baal Shem was an Orthodox Jewish scholar of Halacha and Kabbalah who lived in Zamość during the 17th century. He became renowned as a Baal Shem (lit. '”Master of [Divine] Names”‘) for performing miracles, commanding demons and authoring Kabalistic amulets.[3][4]

Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak Schneersohn (1880–1950) writes in his memoirs that Yoel’s father was Yisrael Yosef, a disciple of Rabbi Mordecai Yoffe. Sometime after the latter’s passing in 1612 he moved to Zamosc. A year after his arrival to Zamosc he had a son and named him Yoel. Yoel learned for 5 years in the Yeshiva of Rabbi Joel Sirkis who was a Halachist and adherent of Kabbalah.

Yoel married before the age of 20 and started learning Kabbalah. Upon a dream, Yisrael Yosef sent his son Yoel to Prague to learn kabbalah from Rabbi Eliyahu Baal Shem. Yoel became one of the closest students of Rabbi Eliyahu Baal Shem who confided all his special teaching to him. Yoel returned to Zamosc and opened a Yeshiva there which became renowned for teaching both niglah and nistar.

Reb Yoel had a son Uri who learned in the Yeshiva of Rabbi David HaLevi Segal (author of the Turei Zahav) in Ostroh. After the latters passing, he went to learn for another six years under Rabbi Avraham Gombiner (author of Magen Avraham) in Kalisz

Rabbi Yoel Baal Shem was the teacher of Rabbi Adam Baal Shem of Ropczyce, who instructed Rabbi Israel Baal Shem Tov in Kabbalah.



Interesting. Not least, because there are strong grounds to believe that ‘Adam Baal Shem of Ropczyce‘ was one and the same as ‘Hershel Zoref’ of Vilna, another ‘Sabbatean’ prophet. And something tells me that the Chacham Tzvi is also in the middle of all this, one way or another.

Let’s continue with more members of the ‘Batlan’ family.


Baruch (Alter Rebbe’s G-Grand-dad) has a brother called ‘David Portugali’.

Here’s what the 6th Lubavitcher Rebbe writes about him:

David lived in a village about fifteen miles from Poznań. He worked the land there with other Jews. All these farmers were Kabbalists and behaved like their ancestors, who were followers of Kabbalah, like most people from Spain and Portugal. 

The behavior of the Kabbalists of those times was that they had a tendency to asceticism, distance from society, and seclusion. However, these Kabbalistic farmers from near Poznań were not ascetics and did not seek solitude. But in real life, they behaved as if they were really moving away from society. 

They were estranged from each other and came into contact with each other only at the time when Jews should have been together – in minyan, in collective prayer. 

Although R. David was an admirer of R. Joel Baal Shema, he visited him very rarely, not like his brother R. Baruch, who regularly visited his rebbe at certain times. 

R. David and other Jewish farmers were known throughout the area. They did not need to take their bread, fruits and vegetables from their fields, orchards and vegetable gardens, or wool from their sheep to the nearest cities for sale. Customers themselves came to them in the village for goods. 


The settlement founded by the Kabbalists, in which each of them had his own allotment, was called Eretz Achaim (“Land of Life”). 

It was said throughout the district, as a very definite thing, that everything that grows in the fields, vegetable gardens, orchards or barns of these Kabbalists brings happiness. David was considered the eldest among the other Kabbalists of the settlement. He was considered a great scholar in both Neagle and Nistar. 

R. David was a man of spirit, but cold and calculating. Nothing ever bothered him. He was a participant in a happy or sad event that happened to someone only because the Torah prescribes it, and not because he sympathizes with it. 

The other person’s joy or grief didn’t affect him. He couldn’t laugh, any more than he could cry. Nothing moved him. He was as dry as a skull. R. David followed good rules in his behavior, as set forth in the holy books, rules that he taught common sense and did not require the manifestation of feelings. He lived according to the Torah’s instructions, but without any warmth. He was sad on the day of Tish’a beAv and happy on the day of Simchat Torah, but only because it was required and indicated. 

Moreover, he put all the lofty thoughts of Kabbalah into all this, but inwardly and outwardly he remained cold.


I’ve been researching all this stuff for months, and it’s the first time I’ve heard of an agricultural settlement founded by Sephardi and Portuguese ‘Kabbalist-farmers’ in the middle of Posen, Poland.

There is so very much to unpick here.


The last thing to share with you – for now! – from the 6th Lubavitcher Rebbe’s memoirs concerns another member of the Batlan – Portugali family, named Binyamin.

He is another son of ‘Baruch Batlan’ (Alter Rebbe G-Grandfather).

Here’s the snippet from the memoirs:

“He was accepted as a rabbi in Grodno, a city famous then for its great scientists. From there, Binyamin’s name became known throughout Poland and Lithuania, as well as in Jewish communities outside these countries.”


Here he is, on geni:


Binyamin Broda (Portugali’s) second wife is the grand-daughter of Jacob Frank.

Via Frank’s daughter Annie Rosa (Rivka Shoshana) Mayer.

And in turn, she is the mother of Chabad’s Rebbetzin ‘Leah Golda Alecsandrov‘, mother of the Chabad Rebbe number 4.


Last thing, for now.

That same ‘Binyamin Broda’ was fingered by Athol Bloomer, a real life descendent of Catholic Frankists who likes to mix up a lot of ‘Real Jewish History’ with figments of his fertile imagination, as the ‘Secret Frankist Tzaddik’ who remained within the Jewish community, to subvert it from within.

I’m not saying that definitely is true.

What I AM saying, is that there is such a big cover-up going on here, that certainly there has to be some cause for all this deliberate obfuscation of what should be simple history, simple facts.

And with God’s help, we’re getting closer and closer to figuring that out.

So, Israel apparently has a ‘new’ government and a ‘new’ President.

‘Itzhak Eizak’ Herzog got the vote from more than three quarters of the MK’s in our oh-so-corrupt Knesset, including from the ‘religious’ parties.

Now the blinkers are off, it’s clear that he’s the choice ‘from outside’ that got parachuted into the cushy position of ‘President of the State of Israel’, to continue the Frankist-Freemason agenda for this country.

Because, as I keep saying, it doesn’t matter who we really vote for, or who we really get leading us, they will only be allowed to rise to the top and wield real power, if they are part of the ‘machine’ that’s been controlling the Jewish world for centuries, already.


All these people are connected to each other, with very deep family and idealogical ties that go back a very long way.

I’m currently wading through more and more of the family trees, and the details that have been deliberately hidden from the public, and the the ‘false personas’ and fake stories that have been created to hide just how incestuous all this really is.

But in the meantime, I was totally struck by the video up on the Yeshiva World News site, together with the ‘puff piece‘ praising the secular Herzog as the ‘religious world’s choice’ for President.

Here it is, below, almost a full four minutes of Herzog only talking (in English) about his meeting with the late Lubavitch Rebbe, and how important it was for Herzog’s father – who was not a ‘religious’ man – to get the Rebbe’s blessing for his son:


I’m just finding it so strange, that 25 years after the Rebbe died, secular politicians in Israel do a whole interview just reminiscing about meeting the Lubavitch Rebbe.


At least externally, the Chabad community in Israel is not very large, and it’s not like a lot of people are going to run out and ‘vote for him’ just because he met the Rebbe 30 years ago.

So what’s really going on here?

Bibi: I heard and saw your message.

Rebbe: May you continue in this path. God helps all those who wish to elevate others. How much more so when one begins with himself. Please don’t hold it against me for speaking about this in public.

Bibi: I intend to continue precisely on this path. I’ve heard the Rebbe’s message well.

Rebbe: It is the best path to avoid war, etc. “With tranquility and restfulness shall you be saved.” Blessing and success.

Bibi: I thank you for the opportunities to be helped by you, and to receive the spiritual guidance you provide not just for me, but for all Jews.

Rebbe: I am just starting my work.

Bibi: I know.

Rebbe: You are also just starting your new role.

Bibi: I have come to you at the start and I intend to return to you many times.

Rebbe: You will have to struggle with 119 others in the Knesset. Surely, you won’t be intimidated. Because God is on this side. Blessing and success with God’s mission.


Which side is God really on?

Is God really on Netanyahu’s side?

That selfsame Bibi Netanyahu who has been behind the ongoing persecution of Rav Berland over the last 7-8 years, which is continuing right now?

That same guy that sold all the citizens of Israel down the river to Big Pharma, with his ‘secret’ deal with Pfizer to forcibly inject as many of us as possible with the dangerous experimental ‘gene therapy‘ (aka magnetized nanobots that can hack into your brain…)?

That same guy who signed off on the ‘Covid 19 plans’ for Meron this year?

And who then deliberately started a war to try to take the nation’s mind of things, when Meron didn’t exactly go as planned and too many people realised that a mass casualty event had been deliberately organised by the government, to bring the religious public to heel?

That same guy who – I have a sneaking suspicion – will try to launch a war with Iran in the week he has left as PM, just so he can stay in power, and try to stuff all the skeletons back into the exploding cupboard?


At this stage, it’s hard – nay, impossible – for me to say that God is on Netanyahu’s side.

And what on earth is ‘the mission’ that the Rebbe apparently sent Netanyahu to do?

Let me put it out to the readers:

Can anyone out there tell me what ‘this mission’ actually is / was?

Because apart from polarising the country; destroying small businesses by the hundreds of thousands; welcoming missionaries of every stripe; indulging in regular ‘wars’ with Gaza that are just for show; locking us all down for a year and destroying our mental health; force vaxxing everything that moved with experimental gene therapies; controlling the press; sending the murderous police after Torah Jews in a myriad different ways; kick-starting massive anti-semitism across the globe; and taking bribes and kick-backs for so many things that we still don’t even know a fraction about –

What other ‘missions’ did Netanyahu actually engage in?



What I’m trying to tell you – again – is that the State of Israel is being run by the members of one big, extended family.

We’ve been covering some of those deep family connections between the ‘secular’ political world and the apparently ‘religious’ world here on the blog for the last few months, and I’m getting closer and closer to finally pinning this down.

But in the meantime, go back and read some of these posts, to see how ‘Rivlins’ and ‘Schneersons’ have been interconnected in Lithuania, and then over in Eretz Israel, too, right from the start.


Once you know more of what’s really going on, it becomes obvious why Herzog is our new President, and why the first thing he did is put out a video in English stating he was ‘blessed’ by the Lubavitcher Rebbe.

It’s the same people, the same extended family, running the show here, regardless of external appearances and claims of being ‘religious’ or otherwise.

Poor Miriam Peretz.

She may have lost two sons on active duty in the IDF; she may have been the people’s choice – she definitely WAS the public’s choice for President – but she didn’t get a blessing from the Rebbe.

And when all is said and done, that seems to be the only thing that really counts, here.

Senior Chabad rabbi pleads with Yamina MKs not to join Lapid – Israel National News

Rabbi Yitzhak Yehuda Yaroslavsky, considered the most senior Chabad rabbi in Israel, has sent a letter to the members of the Yamina party, pleading with them to reverse their decision to partner with center and left-wing parties to establish a coalition with Yair Lapid and others.

Yeshiva World News notes that the customary practice of Chabad rabbis is to avoid involvement in politics and that this step is a significant deviation from that quasi-policy.

“I am turning to you, unlike my usual habit, at literally the last moment, and in the lashon of the passuk [as is stated in the Torah] (Parshat Korach 16: 26): ‘Please turn away from the tents of these evil ones and don’t touch anything of theirs lest you die because of their sins,’” Rabbi Yaroslavsky wrote.

“This step poses a great danger to Klal Yisrael [the Jewish People] in all aspects and will be a bechiyahl’dorot [a source of weeping for generations] and it won’t be possible to stop the deterioration of this decision after, G-d forbid, the government is sworn in.

Anyone who thwarts this plan is assured that he will merit [great blessings]; withstanding this challenge will bring infinite blessing to each one of you and your families … You will be engraved with golden letters in the history of the Jewish People as having withstood this great test at a difficult time, and for bringing salvation to the Jewish People.”


Chabad didn’t send a letter like that when Yair Lapid and Bennett partnered with Netanyahu, 8 years ago, when Yesh Atid and Likud launched an all-out war on the Torah world in Israel.

So what’s so different this time?

And why are Chabad issuing not-so-veiled death threats like this?



More ‘political pressure’ from the ‘apolitical’ Chabad, from Arutz 7:

Australian Chabad tycoon Yosef Gutnick, who in recent years has politically supported Yamina No. 2 Ayelet Shaked, saying that he sees her as the successor of Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, wrote an open letter to her that was published in Yisrael Hayom on Monday.

“You and I know each other for many years,” Gutnick wrote. “I always strongly supported you, for your loyal adherence to the values ​​we share – a strong and uncompromising right-wing government – to prevent the establishment of a Palestinian state and not to allow portions of Eretz Yisrael to be given away.”

“Right-wing voters believed and trusted you, but now their votes are being stolen by you and other MKs by joining a government with partners you promised in the past not to sit with under any circumstances.”

“We recognize the right of others to think differently from us but most voters in the last election voted for a right-wing government. The Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rav Menachem Mendel Schneerson, always opposed any compromise on the Land of Israel, demanded our commitment to the sheleimus of our Eretz HaKodesh, and warned that such a government is dangerous to the residents of Israel and the Jewish people throughout the world.

“You always expressed great respect for the Rebbe. What changed? Why not go to another election so that your voters don’t feel cheated and can express whether or not they agree with your actions and those of your colleagues? Isn’t that the honest and democratic approach? What are you afraid of?

“Don’t be influenced by those who strive for power at all costs,” Gutnick asserted, in an apparent reference to Naftali Bennett. “In the name of everyone who trusts in you, please don’t take part in this so-called ‘government of change.’ Prevent this disaster, for the sake of the kavod and sheleimus of the Torah, Am Yisrael, and Eretz Yisrael. This is the hour of truth for you and your colleagues, to be sincere and honest representatives.”


Yamina MKs are getting a lot of death threats.

And no-one in this country wants a 5th election, just because a failed, corrupt prime minister who sold us out to big business, and big Pharma – repeatedly – can carry on running the country as his own private fiefdom.

If you think there is no ‘Litvack’ interest in Meron, you’d be wrong.

Granted, most of us believe that the Litvack / Lithuanian interest in Meron kind of starts and stops with statements like the one below, from R’ Gershon Edelstein in Bnai Brak – who appears to have some form of mild ruach hakodesh.


On April 28th, 2021 – two days before the mass murder in Meron – he put out the following heavily publicised statement:

Rabbi Edelstein: ‘We do not travel to Meron’

Leading Lithuanian-haredi rabbi calls on followers not to travel to Meron on Lag Ba’omer. ‘We do not travel; we sit and learn.’


Snippet below:

“We have learned from the Brisker Rav, from the Chazon Ish, from the Ponevezher Rav – and they did not travel [to Meron],” [R’ Edelstein] explained, listing former leaders of the Lithuanian-haredi community.

“They did not travel, and therefore we do not travel. We sit and learn: Learning Torah is equal to everything else. We do not travel: Torah learning is equal to all else.”


So that’s nice and clear, isn’t it.

And if that wasn’t nice and clear enough, we have other more minor luminaries in the Litvack universe echoing the same message ad nauseum. Like this, from HERE:

Yes, Lag Ba’Omer is a happy day!… But who says we are supposed to celebrate a Yohrtzeit of Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai and the illumination of the Zohar that he taught with mass events that outstrip the most grandiose wedding?… Something has gone terribly wrong.

When I was in Yeshiva Rabbi Chaim Berlin under the guidance of Rav Yitzchok Hutner ZT”L (1906-1980) I do not recall any special mention or fuss being made about Lag Ba’Omer. There was no hadlaka (bonfire) tthere, there was no special singing or dancing, there was no official lecture about the day. Nothing. Just no Tachanun, perhaps a wedding or two of students.

This is admittedly the Litvish, Lithuanian yeshiva approach…


But of course, everyone should be holding by it.

That’s the ‘subliminal message’ I picked up from all these articles. And it’s the same message you get about daring to go to Uman for Rosh Hashana, too. Good Jews, good ‘Litvaks’ just don’t do that sort of un-Jewish, quasi-avoda-zorah stuff involving travelling to tzaddikim.

But there is a puzzle here that I can’t quite seem to figure out.

So I thought I’d try and thresh it out here on the blog, and we’ll see what turns up.


On Pini Dunner’s blog HERE, he set out who ‘owns’ Meron, on the religious side of the equation.

Relevant snippet below:

Ultimate control over what happens in Meron is in the hands of a shadowy group known as the Va’adat Hachamisha (“committee of five”)… 

One of the two Ashkenazi groups [who ‘own’ Meron] is headed by Rabbi Avrohom Frohlich – the former proprietor of a Judaica auction house in Jerusalem who closely associates himself with the Brisk community in Jerusalem, a group that utterly rejects the State of Israel’s legitimacy… He is closely followed in his inflexibility and refusal to consider any changes to Meron’s infrastructure by his Ashkenazi counterpart, Rabbi Mordechai Dov Hacohen Kaplan, son of Safed’s late chief rabbi, Rabbi Avraham Simcha Hacohen Kaplan.


Me being me, I went to look these people up.

Let’s start with R’ Mordechai Dov Hacohen Kaplan, descendant of Shabtai, aka the SHACH, whose family have ‘inherited’ the position of Chief Rabbi of Tzfat over the last six generations.

There’s lot of interesting stuff I could tell you, but let’s focus in on this pertinent snippet, for this post:

The Kaplan family are about as hardcore ‘Litvak’ as it comes.

If you go to the Hebrew Wikipedia entry for R’ Avraham Simcha Hacohen Kaplan, here’s a bit of what you learn:

He was a member of the Council of Torah Scholars of Degel HaTorah. Degel HaTorah is an: ‘ultra-orthodox Lithuanian political party in Israel’.

Not only that, R’ Kaplan senior seems to have studied with just about every big Litvak ‘luminary’ of the 20th century, including:

  • Rabbi Chaim Ozer Grodzensky
  • Rabbi Shabtai Yagel of the Slonim Yeshiva
  • Rabbi Shabtai Weigel Slonim of the Mir Yeshiva
  • Rabbi Shmuel Rozovsky of the Lomza Yeshiva (and later of the Ponevezh Yeshiva)

And while he’s at the Lomza Yeshiva, he rubbed shoulders with many other ‘Litvak’ luminaries, including:

Rabbi Yosef Rozovsky, Rabbi Reuven Yosef Gershonovich , Rabbi Eliyahu Mishkovsky , Rabbi Zalman Rotenberg , Rabbi Zvi Markowitz, Rabbi Chaim Kanievsky and more.


And if that wasn’t enough, he makes aliya to Israel with none other than the Brisker Rabbi himself, R’  Yitzhak Zeev Halevi Soloveitchik, descendent of R’ Chaim of Volozhin.

And if THAT wasn’t enough to prove just how ‘Litvak’ R’ Avraham Simcha Hacohen Kaplan really was, he got his smicha from another very interesting big personality in the Litvak world, called R’ Isser Zalman Meltzer of the Slutsk yeshiva.

In fact, there is so much huge, Litvak yichus going on there, on his Wikipedia page, it’s almost making my eyes water.

So now, let’s set out the difficulty I’m having.


How is it, that the two Ashkenazi organisations who are part of the “Va’adat Hachamisha” who control the site of Meron on the ‘frum’ side of the equation are both being run by people with very deep ties to the Litvak community?

For example, R’ Mordechai Dov Hacohen Caplan’s sister is married to Rav Mordechai Drori, the Rosh Yeshivah of Yeshivas Chemed.

Rav Drori’s brother was the late R’ Ozer Drori, who according to the YWN,

“[L]earned in Ponevezh as a bochur under his Rav, Hagaon Harav Gershon Edelstein.”


Hey, wait a minute.

Where have we heard that name before?

Ah yes, I remember now:

Rabbi Edelstein: ‘We do not travel to Meron’


R’Avraham Froehlich is proving harder to track down ‘in the real world’, but I will take Pini Dunner’s word for it, at least for now, that he’s closely associated with the Brisk Litvak faction.

So, that makes two out of the two Ashkenazi groups who ‘own’ Meron being run by people who are about as LITVACK as you can get.

So now, the questions start to multiply like mushrooms after rain.

Here’s a few, to get us started.


  • How did this strange situation come about, given that no Litvaks rabbis light bonfires at Meron, nor apparently hold with the custom of ‘praying to dead people’, and other things they like to describe as ‘quasi-avoda-zorah’?

  • Why have the two Litvak Ashkenazi groups who ‘own’ Meron been blocking the very necessary renovations required, for the site to be able to safely accommodate the hundreds of thousands of people who visit every year?
  • Why is it that none of us know that the same people who tell us ‘not to go to Meron’ for L’ag B’omer are closely linked to the people who ‘own’ Meron, at least on the Ashkenazi side of the equation?
  • Who gets to decide who should be leading the Ashkenazi organisations who participate in the “Va’adat Hachamisha”.
  • Who put the money down, in the first place, to create these Ashkenazi Hekdashs, and to get them recognised by the Ottoman rulers of Israel 200 years ago? (If we can get the answer to that, then we’ll really start to know a whole bunch of other things, too.)


Do you see the problem, here?

The Chassidim are getting blamed for the ‘awful infrastructure’ of the RASHBI tomb at Meron, by the secular authorities and the police, and also – and often much more harshly – by people who proudly claim to be religious Jews who are part of the Litvak world.

But who is really at least partly responsible for that ‘awful infrastructure’ in the first place?

The two Ashkenazi ‘hekdash’ institutions, who officially ‘own’ at least a bit of Meron – and who are being run by dyed-in-the-wool Litvaks.

There appears to be something very strange going on here, and another mystery that needs solving.

BH, with God’s help, we’ll get to it.


In the meantime, let’s be clear that the hardcore Litvak community in Israel has a very strong, historical link to the ‘ownership’ of Meron, and that this link has been deliberately obscured from the public, for reasons that are not yet obvious.

Now we know this information, we can start to ask why the Litvak people running the Ashkenazi institutions that ‘own’ Meron don’t stand aside, and let representatives of the communities who actually believe in things like going to Meron for L’ag B’omer, and the importance of visiting the graves of tzaddikim take over?

I mean, c’mon guys, what does Meron have to do with learning Toyrah?

And why are you running these organisations when you clearly don’t believe in the whole inyan of going to Meron for L’ag B’omer in the first place?

What else is going on here, under the surface?

I think it’s time we popped the hood, and tried to find out.




A reader sent me links to the following:

First THIS, which explains how the feuds between the Ashkenazi and Sephardi organisations who ‘own’ Meron have basically brought us to the stage where the State of Israel is ANYWAY going to expropriate the tomb of the Rashbi at the end of three years, in 2023 if they can’t figure out how to work together, to do what needs to be done at the Kever.

The basic gist is that in 2008, there was a State Comptroller’s report into the RASHBI site, that lambasted the ‘owners’ for not renovating the site properly, and keeping it properly maintained.


Then at the end of 2011, the State of Israel decided it was going to ‘expropriate’ the site – which honestly, also makes me queasy, as I don’t trust a thing the State of Israel decides to do, vis-a-vis things that are holy to yiddishkeit, and to Jews, generally.

So then, a massive court battle ensued, which apparently only ended in February 2020 of last year, where the ‘Vaad HaHamisha’ – or ‘Council of Five’ in Meron – was given three years to put appropriate administrative arrangements for the site in place (whatever that actually means…).

If they didn’t manage to do that – then the State of Israel ‘reserved the right’ to expropriate ownership of the site at the end of 2023.


If we could trust the government here, and if we could believe that it really only has the best interests of the religious Jewish community at heart, maybe that wouldn’t be such an issue

But we can’t.

And so it is.

Here’s a longish snippet:

Between the rival [Ashkenazi and Sephardi] trusts, the battle lines are clearly drawn. According to Shalvash [of the Sephardi Trust], “All areas are our areas” and the Ashkenazic trust “has no control of” Rabbi Shimon bar Yohai. But Ben-Zion Guberstadt, board member of the Ashkenazic trust, states simply, “We say the whole thing is ours.”

Both groups claim hundreds of years’ precedent, and appeals through the past five years to courts — both religious and civil — have failed to settle the feud…

Both groups say that they are ready to build prayer houses and ritual baths to serve the million-plus pilgrims a year. The Sephardim say they would use a multimillion-dollar Safra legacy. The Ashkenazim say that even without this money, they have donors in England who will give $25 million.

[Rivka note – this is an old article, and some renovations of the Tomb itself, using money from the Safra legacy, have subsequently been carried out in Meron.]


The Sephardic trust, however, says that the Ashkenazim are driven less by a genuine interest in the site and more by the financial implications of control…

The Ashkenazic trust is battling for control “because they want money. That’s the name of the game,” Shalvash said in an interview with the Forward. Guberstadt flatly denied the claim…

The prevailing opinion in the Israeli government is that it should take control of the site, an inside source said.

On Meron, Rabbi Shraga Shnitzer suggests a different solution. Shnitzer, head of the independent charity Ohel Ha’Rashbi-Meron, which provides free food to visitors, believes that decisions about the site’s future should be placed in the hands of the most respected contemporary halachic authorities, the gedolei hador.

He said, “Ashkenazim and Sephardim need to sit together with gedolei hador who will come to the place and hear from everyone at Meron and decide what is allowed to do and what it is not allowed to do.”

But Schvinger says that any resolution will open up another can of worms, as there are rival splinter groups within each trust. “If it is decided that either the Sephardi or Ashkenazi hekdesh are the owners, this will open up a whole new question as to who is the true Sephardi or Ashkenazi hekdesh.”


The ‘Schvinger’ quoted here is Yosef Schvinger, head of the ‘National Center for the Management of Holy Places‘, and Aryeh Deri’s right hand man, who we wrote about HERE.

There’s a LOT of very dodgy things going on around the grave of the RASHBI at Meron, but at least one aspect seems to be bringing us back to the idea of ‘following the money’.


Right at the start of the investigation into Meron, I had some emails from someone who told me that the grave is a very big money spinner for the people who are running it.

It brings in literally millions of shekels in donations every year, and those donations are made to the various organisations and people who ‘own’ it.

Something about this just doesn’t seem right, does it?

We’ll have to tread very carefully, to try and unpick all this, because while the financial incentive is clearly looming large in the battle for control, it’s certainly not the only reason that at least some of the people involved in Meron are there, and doing what they are doing.

At least some of those people also care for the sanctity of the site, and the well-being of the pilgrims who are visiting it.

But sorting the wheat from the chaff is going to be challenging, to say the least.

And at this stage, I’d really love to know who is sitting on those ‘hekdeshim’, which ‘hekdeshim’ came first, the Sephardi or the Ashkenazi ones, who is making the decisions and really wielding the control on the ground – and how much money is flowing through the coffers of these organisations, and where it’s all going.

Once we know that, we’ll know a lot more about what ‘went wrong’ in Meron this year.

For sure, it was State-sponsored mass murder carried out by the police.

But clearly, there is also a lot of cheshbon hanefesh that’s required on the ‘frum’ side of the equation, too.




Baruch Hashem, now we are having some ‘achdut’ between the Sephardim and Ashkenazim after all…

SHAS and UTJ are working together to try to help cover up what really happened in Meron on L’ag B’omer.

Interior Minister and Shas head Arye Deri would control appointment of chairman, and at least two other committee members, while the chief rabbis would also appoint a representative.


In case you forgot, Deri and ‘Interior Minister’ Amir Ohana were two of the ministers, together with Yuli Edelstein, Nachman Ash, and Netanyahu, who signed off on the ‘Coronavirus rules’ for Meron this year, that directly killed 45 people, and injured hundreds more.

So of course, a ‘government controlled committee of enquiry’ where the appointments are all being controlled by the very people who need to be investigated to get to the truth, is worse than useless.

People, how much longer are we going to put up with these so-called ‘religious’ politicians, who only care about their own egos?

45 people died, the Government is poised to swoop in on Meron and ‘expropriate it’, what happened in Meron is now being used as the ‘excuse’ to stop big weddings, and visits to other holy sites, and to try to ‘control’ even more aspects of religious life – and our two ‘religious’ parties in the Knesset are totally complicit in the cover up of what really happened on L’ag B’omer.

Man, it stinks.



So, I did more digging around the whole question of ‘who owns Meron’, and that brought me to a couple more interesting bits of information.

#1 – There is apparently also a massive corruption investigation currently going on in land ownership in the whole of Meron, over the last 40 years, which began in April 2019.

#2 The Hebrew Wikipedia contains more information about who ‘owns’ Meron.

It seems that the Algerian ‘Abu’ family basically bought the site when they made aliyah in 1817.

That then somehow became the ‘Sephardi Trust’ – or at least one of them – who took over management of the site, which was registered in the Trust’s name in 1888, when Eretz Yisrael was still under Ottoman control.

In 1920, when it became mandatory to official register ownership of the land, most of the land was registered in the name of the Spanish Trust, with a small area now also registered in the name of the ‘unknown’ Ashkenazi Trust, while the rest of Meron was put in the name of the Israel Lands Administration.

“In 1976 , an agreement was signed between the Spanish Trust and the Ministry of Religions, according to which the ministry will rent the complex for a period of 5 years. This period ended in 1981, when the complex returned to the management of the Spanish Trust. However, during the period a number of different organizations and bodies clung to the place, which refused to vacate their place afterwards.

Splits and divisions in various dedications, led to four various public agencies being involved in managing the complex, in addition to the Ministry of Religious Affairs and National Center for the Development of the Holy Places…

Since 1998, there has been a legal dispute over the ownership of the site, between four different endowment bodies, which are splits of the old Sephardic and Ashkenazi Trusts.

The litigation took place in both the Rabbinical Court and the District Court , with appeals being submitted to the Supreme Court . The State of Israel was also involved in the litigation on the issue, and finally in 2008 the Supreme Court decided to appoint a five-member committee (one from each body of the sanctuary, and the State Representative as chairman), to manage the compound.”


So the ‘Vaad Hahamisha’ is this five-member committee, that was appointed by the State of Israel’s Supreme Court in 2008.

And the ‘State Representative’ is R’ Shmuel Rabinovitch, the Rav of the Kotel and chair of the Western Wall Heritage Foundation.

You probably won’t be surprised to learn that there is a whole can of worms opening up around the Western Wall Heritage Foundation, too, but I’ll save that for another post.

R’ Rabinovitch lost a nephew in the crush at Meron.

He wrote about that – apparently in English! – HERE.

But it’s strange there is no mention of him chairing the ‘Vaad Hahamisha’ that is actually at least nominally responsible for the site’s infrastructure.


In the meantime, from what I can tell with the very limited information available, the Sephardim seem to be getting the short end of the stick here, as their Trust / Endowment clearly owned the site first, and clearly owns most of the site, historically.

Also check the comments, below, for more input on ‘who really owns Meron’ which at this stage I can’t verify, but it’s certainly adding another dimension into an already murky discussion.

It’s hard to see anyone associated with Meron – in any capacity – coming out of this smelling of roses.

Everywhere I turn, there seems to be decades of corruption bubbling up – even when we’re not talking about the State-sponsored mass murder of pilgrims.




Another interesting addition to the list of ‘figuring out what really happened in Meron’ can be found HERE, on the Kikar Shabbat website.

Take away points:

“[A]nother document of the licensing officer from the northern district of the police, which was revealed to “News 12”, states that the engineer approved the buildings, the bleachers and the lighting stage in the Toldot Aharon compound, and determined that each bleacher would have 220 to 300 people. There will be 1,800 people in the gathering plaza and the total number of celebrants in the place will not exceed 3,159.

In practice, and although the Israel Police approved the decision of the licensing officer and the safety plan, about 20,000 people were present – six times the number allowed.”


But here is the really telling stuff:

“Also, in a document sent three days before the incident, the engineer alerted police that “due to the expected amount of crowds, all emergency exits should be kept free.” But in real time there were policemen on the ground who were not properly instructed, and even blocked one of the exits.

Moreover, at a concluding safety discussion, which took place a day before the celebration, according to one of those present, when talking about the quantities of celebrants, and the engineer expressed concern about the congestion, District Commander Superintendent Shimon Lavi replied: “Do not worry [about access] To the site, I know how to stop them if necessary. “

(Emphasis mine).


This is incredible.

It seems the police are saying they DID block ‘one exit’ out of Toldos Aharon the night of L’ag B’omer.

And of course, we know that THERE WAS ONLY ONE EXIT out of Toldos Aharon, the night of L’ag B’omer, as the Health Ministry ‘Coronavirus Regulations’ meant that the other three were blocked the whole time, with fences and gates.

And the police’s own safety engineer flags congestion as a real concern three days before L’ag B’omer – before most of the Ministry of Health’s additional fences and ‘checkpoints’ and the ‘tunnel of death’ had even been built – and is just waved off by the police.

Why aren’t these people being arrested, already?


That Kikar Shabbat article also throws some light on the specific issue we’re discussing in this post, stating there is:

“[A]n open check for tens of millions of shekels, which the Safra Foundation previously placed in favor of renovating the complex and repairing the many defects in it, but while most members of the famous ‘Va’ad HaHamisha’ in charge of the complex were happy, Avraham Froelich, who heads the “sanctuary” of the fanatics, refused – because of their principle not to enjoy “Zionist money”.

I understand the principle.

But I’d really like to know just who Avraham Froelich is representing.

Who is he working for?

Who is making these decisions, behind the scenes?

And why is all this information so very hard to come by?



Yosef Schvinger and Israel Deri, of the Holy Sites Authority, were questioned by the police two days’ ago, on May 18th. See more HERE.

The director general of the Center for Holy Places in the Ministry of Religious Affairs, Yossi Schwinger and Israel Deri, in charge of the northern region, the center’s cargo, were interrogated by Lahav 433 with a warning in recent days, and released today [Tuesday, May 18, 2021.]

And in case you need more evidence that we are living in the olam hafuch, or upside-down world, the anti-Torah ‘Yesh Atid’ is bringing a bill to the Knesset on Monday to demand an independent State Commission of Inquiry into what happened in Meron.

Let’s see how the ‘religious’ parties, UTJ and SHAS, try to wiggle out of voting in favor for it, so they can keep the cover up going.

How were so many people ‘trapped’ in Area 41 in Meron, when there are no visible gates?

That question has been exercising me for days now.

But thanks to a couple of my readers, and a lot of siyatta di shmeya, I think I might have the answer.

Read on, to learn how ‘the police’ managed to close down both sides of the ‘Reb Dov Shvil’ exit in Meron.


In THIS post, I put up a video that showed some very distressing footage of what was going on at the ‘Area 41’ stairs in Meron after the killer crush had already developed.

(You can see that video for yourself on Youtube HERE, and on Brighteon HERE, if you want to, but from this point on I’m trying to minimize embedding distressing footage into blog posts, unless I really need to.)

You can clearly see police cynically waving people ‘back up the stairs’ – which is initially what I was focussing on.

But then, after I watched it a few times in slow motion, trying to gather more clues, I realised something very strange:

The people at the very front of the crush in ‘Area 41’ are not moving forward, even when being pulled by the police.

But no ‘gate’ is visible, at least in the footage I’ve seen.

So what the heck was going on?


This screenshot comes from 1:09 seconds into THIS footage, and it clearly demonstrates the problem:


What was really blocking that left-hand exit, the exit out to ‘Area 41’ in Meron?

That question has been bothering me for days.

Two days ago, I was even starting to wonder if there was some ‘invisible forcefield’ going on in Meron, or some other super-hitech-super-secret nefarious ‘crowd control’ technology being tried out on those poor people who got crushed to death.

But then, a reader sent me a link to THIS – it’s a two-and-a-half-hour ‘livestream’ from Israeli TV Channel 11, the night the atrocity happened in Meron.

So yesterday, I girded my loins and started watching it, to see if I could catch more ‘clues’ with hindsight, from stuff that hadn’t yet been covered up.


They have a habit on these TV stations of re-running the same bit of tired footage again and again and again in the background, as someone is speaking over it.

So it was, that they kept replaying the same bit of footage of people starting to escape from the crush on the left hand side – Area 41.

And that’s when I started to notice the weird beam.


I’m screenshotting the below from that ‘live footage from Channel 11, which you can see HERE.

First, here’s a shot of ‘Area 41’, that shows the bottom of the stairs, and the partial railing on the right-hand side, apparently from earlier on in the evening.

The police are standing roughly where the outer edge of the ‘crush’ was located (on that side. Remember, the exit to ‘Area 42’ was also blocked by a standard double gate.)


Next, we have this screenshot, from around the 44 minute mark.

It clearly shows a heavy metal beam being ‘moved out of the way’, across the blocked exit at ‘Area 41’:


Let’s zoom in on that ‘mysterious beam’:


If you go and look at the live footage (around 44 min mark) you can see this beam being ‘lifted’ up.

Then, a stream of trapped people from the stairs at the left-hand exit (Area 41) start streaming out behind it.

I watched that footage maybe 20 times, before a couple of things suddenly dawned on me:

  1. What is that beam doing there in the first place?

Initially, we were being told that ‘something’ had collapsed, so the brain wasn’t flagging it as weird that a metal beam should apparently be blocking an exit like that.

But now, we know that NOTHING collapsed (more on that in a moment.)

So, why was that beam there in the first place?


If you want to tell me that it was holding the roof up, that’s demonstrably not the case.

Play the video, and you’ll see that the beam is way too tall to have been standing erect.

It’s a clear foot above where the roof was, in that corrugated white metal death-trap tunnel, built especially for L’ag B’omer this year, by the police and Ministry of Health.


I pressed ‘rewind’ to start watching the clip involving the ‘mysterious beam’ from the beginning.

In this clip, (screenshotted below) you could see the first responders starting to stream to the area.

And there was the mysterious metal beam again, clearly too long to go past the roof.

This time, I could see it had a rope tied to it’s left end, which appears to be looped over one of the heavier metal crossbeams in the police-built ‘tunnel of death’.



Now, I had even more questions.

Again, what was that beam even doing there, in the first place?

Why did it have a rope tied around one side?

When was that rope tied on to it – and why?

If you’re going to tell me that it was done to get the beam out of the way, then why not move the whole beam out of the way, instead of risking it falling on all those first responders rushing to the scene of the crush?


Let’s zoom in on the mysterious beam with the rope attached:


I was still looking for clues as to where this ‘mysterious beam’ came from in Area 41.

This screenshot also comes from the Channel 11 ‘livestream footage’, around the 49 minute mark:


There were similar metal beams spaced the whole length of the ‘tunnel of death’, leading up to Area 41.

Now, I’m not an engineer – and I’d really appreciate input from someone who is.

But I’m finding it hard to understand the purpose of these particular metal beams.

Also, I went back and scanned all the available footage for ‘Area 41’ near the stairs, and I just couldn’t see any ‘indentation’ where a metal beam would have been resting across that far end of the tunnel of death.


But this is what I currently believe to be the best hypothesis of how the exit to ‘Area 41’ got blocked by ‘the police’.

Remember, a few people in Meron – including my daughter – said they heard something ‘collapse’, ahead of the deadly crush?

I think that was the sound of this ‘beam’ being manoeuvred into place by the rope-pulley, or being ‘pulled down’ to create a low barrier that crossed the exit at the bottom of the stairs of ‘Area 41’.

Police where there to stop the first people trying to ‘get around’ it by trying to step over it, or duck under it.

And very quickly – literally within 30 seconds to a minute – enough of a crush built up from behind to literally pin peoples’ legs against the beam – just above knee level – which meant that they simply couldn’t move forward, even though it looks like nothing was blocking them.

This explanation would explain why we were seeing things like this:


Remember, the right hand exit, Area 42, was blocked shortly before this, with a standard double-gate, placed a little way down the steps.

So then, the crowd is all automatically going to the left-hand side, Area 41.

If you see the footage from Channel 12, (screenshotted below) you see that just as the Toldos Aharon Rebbe was lighting his bonfire, in the few minutes before 12:41 am, both exits off the bottom of the ‘Reb Dov Shvil’ are open, and the stairs themselves look relatively empty.


Immediately after the fire was lit, a large number of people decided to leave via the only open exit the police and Ministry of Health left open – ‘Reb Dov Shvil’.

Between 12:41:41 am and 12:44am, the right hand exit (Area 42) is blocked with a double gate, while the left hand exit (Area 41) is blocked by a ‘fallen beam’.

Then, a bunch of police threaten people to stay put, while the deadly crush very quickly builds up behind them, pinning them next to the ‘fallen beam’ and making it impossible for them to move forward, even when being pulled by the hands.

Eyewitnesses report they were screaming at the police to remove ‘the barriers’, and that their pleas were ignored.

They also report that the police only removed ‘the barriers’ once they’d got permission from their superiors to do so.


What were they waiting for?

Why did ‘the police’ go to all that trouble to block the exit with a metal construction beam, that was apparently designed to ‘collapse’ in just the right way,and  just the right place, to instantly create a death-trap-log-jam at the bottom of the ‘Reb Dov Shvil’ stairs?

Which was the ONLY exit out of the crowded Toldos Aharon complex, just above.

I have some potential answers to these questions, too.

BH, in the next blog post we’ll zoom out to the ‘bigger picture’ of what was going in Meron that night.

And then we’ll start to really understand just how much God loves the Jewish people, just how evil our enemies really are, and just how many miracles occurred that night in Meron.


The 45 didn’t die for nothing.

They were martyrs for the whole of the Jewish people, hand-picked by Hashem to sweeten the decrees on the nation of Israel, and to finally help us identify and uproot the true evil in our midst.

And now that we’ve cleared up (as best we can…) what was going on at the site of the stairs, we can turn our attention to why ‘the police’ wanted that exit blocked up in the first place, and why they literally thought they were going to get away with murder, that night in Meron.




A couple of readers just sent me THIS:

They are closing down Meron to visitors for Rosh Chodesh Sivan, as part of their ‘thin end of the wedge’ operation, to start taking more and more of our holy sites out of the picture, and off limits.

It’s a temporary state of affairs, mamash the last few skirmishes of the Sitra Achra against daat and Torah and our True Tzaddikim.

But they won’t win this time.

Just keep praying and working on our bad middot, and wait and see how all this will turn around, BH.

There is a new video with new footage of what happened, that needs careful analysis.



The timings on the slides below appear to be wrong – the crush built up much faster, and seems to have been caused by 10 policemen and at least one policewoman blocking the exit, with or without gates.

The footage is conveniently ‘cut’ at the crucial part that would show why people suddenly stopped on the stairs.

I’d been poring over media accounts for three days, and still couldn’t really understand how this was meant to have happened. So yesterday morning, I grabbed my camera and decided I had to go and see things for myself, to see if that would bring a bit more clarity to the picture.

In this post, I’m going to first bring the cold, hard facts – as much as they are knowable, with so many big parts of the puzzle still missing.

And then maybe in a different post, I’ll tell you more about some of the interesting things that were going on up in Meron, and more of what I heard from some of the people there.


Let’s do it.


Identifying where the deaths occurred.

I’ve seen so many pictures of stairs next to white sheet metal fencing – that I totally didn’t recognise. So, the first job was to go and actually find the place where the 45 Meron Martyrs were killed al kiddush Hashem.

(More on how that actually happened below, after we get the cold, hard facts set down).

The following stills come from THIS drone footage of Meron, shot on April 30th, 2021.

That’s how it happened.

Now, we can make more sense of the videos I posted up here in previous articles. Let’s explain them clearly, so you really get what happened beyond the shadow of a doubt, and can’t be misled by any more MSM-government-sponsored lies and ‘spin’.

This video below first shows the exit that was blocked.

It also seems to show that one Border Policeman had enough of a neshama to start trying to rip down the metal sheeting right next to the blocked exit, to try to relieve the pressure and give people more space.

But notice other policemen standing at the bottom of the stairs, still holding the crowds back.


Next, you see the ‘river’ of visitors coming down the fenced-in path with the metal ramp.

I suspect that fencing was also put up around the sides just for this L’ag B’Omer, but I haven’t been able to confirm that yet.

But you can clearly see from the drone footage, above, that usually this area was all open air.

So why close it in?


Next, the video goes to an overhead view, looking down at the stairs from the building above it, where you can see how people have now ‘collapsed’ down the stairs and been crushed to death.

This occurred after the police removed the barriers blocking the exit, which caused hundreds of people to topple down on each other.

You can see one or two ‘regular’ police at this point trying to pull people out of the pile, together with a few first responders.

But all those big, burly ‘Border Police’ guys who were blocking the exit have now left the area.

Why didn’t they stay, to try to rescue more of the people who had been crushed and asphyxiated to death?


Now that we’ve pinned this information down, there are more questions to be answered.

According to this eyewitness account, below, two police pulled a double-gate across this exit at approximately 12:30am.

(The audio is very quiet, but if you can listen to what he’s saying, it’s very useful information.)


The gate was still in place almost half an hour later, at approximately 1am.

That means that the police let the crush build up on the metal ramp for approaching half an hour before the deaths occurred, without making any public announcement that people should try to find a different exit.




Menachem Engel, the guy in the video above, contacted me to make it clear that he is not saying and doesn’t know if the gates were still in place at almost 1am. I’m happy to include this information.

And I also want to include this information, from another eye-witness, that was reported in Hebrew HERE,  that the single exit out of the Toldos Aharon complex was blocked by 10 burly policemen, plus at least one policewoman who were pushing people back up the stairs and the ramp, just before the ‘disaster’ (in Hebrew):

“[Q]uite a few dozen seconds after we passed the entrance to the path, a lot of policemen and at least one policewoman came to the entrance to the path and blocked the exit.

Anyone who knows this area at the time of L’ag B’Omer, this year and every year knows that police officers do not walk around in the mehadrin area at all [i.e. the area cordoned off for just men]… And certainly there are no policewomen in the whole area.

Suddenly at least 10 policemen appeared in one shot?!?!

They were at the ‘disaster’ long before the first responders and Magen Dovid Adam !! And after the disaster – most of them (not all!) did not reach out at all… they were not determined and urgent to help, to say the least.”


Another thing that Menachem Engel states – corroborated by many others – is that the Toldos Aharon plaza was unusually and uncomfortably crowded, and that he felt ‘trapped’ in the complex as soon as he entered it.

Other eye-witnesses have said that the police blocked other exits out the Toldos Aharon plaza, leaving ‘Reb Dov Shvil’ – the metal ramp – as pretty much the only exit out of the area.

According to the eyewitness above, he was told by a ‘mystery chassid’ to try to find another route out of the Toldos Aharon Complex because there was so much overcrowding at the blocked exit.

He only managed to do that because he was joined by a group of 40 yeshiva bochurs who managed to ‘fight their way out’ of the crowds to go up past the bleachers, and to exit via the area containing the ‘back bleachers’ at the top of this picture:


Let’s try to sum up the list of specific questions here, to keep this as simple as possible:

1.Why were all other exits out of the Toldos Aharon complex blocked off by the police?

2. Why was the only real exit out of the Toldos Aharon complex blocked by gates for half an hour, while more and more people joined the crush on the metal ramp? –

UPDATE: More information is coming out about how the exit was blocked. It could have been gates, initially, but it could also have been the group of 10 policemen, plus at least one policewoman, who showed up shortly before the ‘disaster’ and physically prevented the crowds from leaving the steps.

3. Who gave the order for that exit to be blocked?

4. Why was that order given?

5. Why was no public announcement made to tell people that the exit out of the Toldos Aharon complex had been blocked?

6. If you are going to tell me that the police closed the exit to prevent more people entering the plaza to ‘prevent overcrowding’, why wasn’t the gate set up at the top of the metal ramp, instead of by the bottom at the stairs?

7. Why was that whole area enclosed with white metal sheeting on the morning of L’ag B’omer, making a narrow, confined space even more narrow and confined?

(Especially in ‘Covid times’, when the authorities have been making a big distinction between ‘indoor’ and ‘outdoor’ areas?)

8. Why did the police refuse to acknowledge that they had blocked the main exit out of the Toldos Aharon complex – and instead tried to blame the disaster on a mythical ‘stampede’ that never happened?

9. Why, immediately after the disaster at 1am, did the police put a message out on the public announcement system that everyone should leave the Rashbi complex immediately – which only added to the crush at all the blocked exits, and prevented ambulances from being able to drive up to the site of the fatalities?

(That’s why we saw so many pictures of people being carried out by hand on stretchers, then taken a long way down the mountain by people running with them – the ambulances couldn’t get up to the site.)

10. What other structures were built, what other bottlenecks were created, what other exits were blocked by the police at Meron before L’ag B’omer, to create so much dangerous and unusual overcrowding in the area?


There are way, way more questions about what happened.

We’ll get to those another time.

But in this post, I’m focussing-in specifically on the circumstances that led to the deaths of those 45 Meron Martyrs.

I’ve learned from experience that it’s when we focus in on the details, the nitty-gritty, that the truth inevitably starts to shake out.

I know they say the devil is in the detail, but invariably, I’ve found that the truth is in the detail – and once you pin the details down, they just can’t spin their lies about what happened in quite the same way.


BH, we’ve made a lot of progress since Friday, in figuring out what really went on here.

Now, that this part of the equation is figured out, we can turn more of our attention to who made these deadly decisions, who enforced them – and who stood to benefit from a ‘mass casualty’ event in Meron this year.

Make no mistake: this time around all of these questions will be answered.

And the people responsible for the murder in Meron will finally be exposed.



On the Ynet (fake…) news site they had this article, about the safety report about the Toldos Aharon complex ahead of L’ag B’Omer:


Meron event organizers ignored major safety report days before disaster

Report ordered organizers of the festivities at the Toldos Aharon compound, where the stampede occured, to have 4 passageways if the number of participants exceeds 9,000; 20,000 were inside when stampede occured but only one exit was open.



That Ynet report is trying to shift the blame for the deaths to the Toldos Aharon chassidut.

But what I want to know is, who was responsible for deciding there should be only one exit out of the Toldos Aharon complex?

I don’t believe that the Toldos Aharon chassidut would only want one exit in and out of their complex – how would that be helpful to them, and their followers?

So who made that decision, in stark contravention of this report that there should be at least 4 exits?

And then, who made the decision to close the only exit out of the Toldos Aharon complex, and who else signed off on it?

Once we know that, I think we’ll know a lot more.



In a minute and a half, you can now grasp what the MSM / government / police have all failed to explain to us over the last 4 days, namely how this ‘tragedy’ really occurred.

I got this comment from the eyewitness in the video above, who wanted to make it clear that he doesn’t say / doesn’t know if the gates were still in place half an hour later.

I’m after the truth here, so I’m very happy to keep updating the information as more of it comes to light. And I’m very happy to see the new footage on Channel 12, that apparently shows there were no barriers.

Which means, of course, all these poor people on the steps suddenly stopped there for no reason at all, and voluntarily suffocated and crushed themselves to death….

This is in Hebrew, but Google translate does a good enough job of giving you the gist. It sets out in detail how the regular exits in and out of the ‘Toldos Aharon’ complex were blocked this L’ag B’omer, in the name of ‘Coronavirus Restrictions’.

While the Health Ministry put no limits – at all! – on the number of people travelling to Uman this year; and as far as I could see, there weren’t even the regular park n’ ride facilities in place this year to help regulate the crowds, what they did do is block off every exit to the ‘Toldos Aharon’ complex with fences, leaving just the ‘Shvil Reb Dov’ exit – which was known from previous years to be dangerously overcrowded, even with the other exits open.

That article is apparently based on hundreds of eye-witness testimonies.

I was going to bring one of the comments on that article, which brings more information and raises a bunch more disturbing ideas, but I realised it’s making this post too long. So I will do a new post with that information instead, BH.
