Here are three things that I found really interesting.

***Update of the Rav fainting in court, below***

Interesting thing 1: How human health really works.

We aren’t ‘bodies’, we are souls with a ‘garment of skin’.

I plan to come back to this topic a lot in the near future, BH, but for now, please watch THIS, which does an excellent job of explaining how energy, intention and sound – betzem, prayer, emuna and ratzon – are really the basis of real human health, even in the ‘real world’.

(This has two women in it, so not shmirat eynayim friendly. So if that’s a concern, please just listen to the audio, as understanding these concepts are a total game-changer, for understanding health – and how body and soul are totally intertwined.)

====

Interesting thing 2: Some real Torah on the Parsha, with Rav Ofer Erez.

Rav Ofer Erez is a Breslov Rav, one of Rav Berland’s closest students, and the person whose Torah wisdom really saved me, spiritually, when I got buried under an avalanche of fake-emuna-induced misery and suffering.

They are launching a new ‘Breslov by the Kotel’ online yeshiva for English speakers, so BH, we hope to see way more quality Breslov Torah, in English, coming out now.

HERE‘s the link where you can download the PDF of the parsha sheet, and the snippet:

With the help of Hashem, we present to you the first Parsha sheet based on our online weekly classes. This is based on the shiur of Rav Ofer Erez given this week via our online Breslov University.

We hope to upgrade the design of the Parsha sheet in the coming weeks and to add more of the teachings shared throughout the week.

Interesting thing number 3: Is THIS post from November 2020, that just ‘popped up’ on the Arutz 7 site.

It’s entitled:

Snippet:

Video clips taken from the event make no attempt to conceal the nature of their beliefs, with their slogans, “The Rebbe is the Melech Hamoshiach,” (the King Messiah) and “Long live our master, the Melech Hamoshiach,” in prominent display.

The messages from Knesset members were broadcast to this event, including those from MK Naftali Bennett, Defense Minister Benny Gantz, Education Minister Yoav Galant, Interior Minister Aryeh Deri, Opposition head MK Yair Lapid, MK Amir Peretz, and deputy Education Minister Meir Porush.

====

You can watch these greetings for yourself, HERE:

(Warning: viewing this video may result in mild-to-severe nausea. Please consult your medical professional if symptoms continue more than 24 hours.)

====

For non-Hebrew speakers, I decided to translate the comments of our dear PM, Naftali Bennett, below:

Shalom to every dear Chabad shaliach.

First of all, I love you.

I love each and every one of you, so very much.

And I love the Chabad movement, from the depth of my heart.

I know, and I’m familiar with, the wonderful self-sacrifice, of each and every one of you.

Another last thing. Whatever is going to happen, from any palce, whatever is going to happen, I guarantee that I am not going to give away even a centimetre of Eretz Yisrael. Because Eretz Yisrael, is ours.

==

(Here’s a screenshot of Bennett’s face, as he says these last words, nausea alert:)

====

If that isn’t strange enough, the video then cuts away to that notorious hater of religious Jews and Torah Judaism, Yair Lapid.

Here’s what he says:

I want to bless all the Chabad shlichim in the whole world. You aren’t just shlichim for Chabad, you are also my shlichim, and the shlichim of the Jewish people, in entirety.

[Chabad] is bigger than every specific group in the Jewish people….

It gives me pleasure (lit: happiness) to give you happiness.

====

If THAT isn’t strange enough, the video now switches to Amir Peretz (who also looks like he’s in early stages of Parkinsons), also encouraging Chabad to continue ‘on their true path’.

And then telling them this (2:30 mark):

The Rebbe continues [present tense] to be with you.

The next sentence isn’t clear, but I think Amir Peretz says something like: “You are busy with his mitzvahs”, and concludes with: “The salvation of Hashem comes in the blink of an eye.”

====

But the perplexing and surprising statements don’t stop there.

Yoav Galant, who was almost IDF Chief of General Staff before scandals torpedoed that, had this to say:

“I want you to know that you are doing holy work. And that you are the real shlichim. You – and to my great pleasure, also me – are busy with the education of Am Yisrael, about the important things….I tell you that you are doing holy work, and continue to strengthen Am Yisrael.”

====

Then there is Benny Gantz, former Defence Minister, who says this:

As the Defense Minister, I am certain that the strength of our army by itself is not enough to protect our State. Only the combination between the army’s [strength?] and spiritual [strength?] is what can help us to succeed…. Yeshar Koach, and may you be blessed.

====

Most of these guys hate frum Jews and the Torah lifestyle.

Lapid and Bennett sat with Netanyahu, all those years ago, to launch the ‘war’ against the Torah world in Israel, which decimated yeshivas, slashed child benefits, tried to force yeshiva bochurs into the army – and of course, began the terrible State persecution of Rav Berland.

Amir Peretz is a Labour Socialist (say no more); Galant and Gantz are ex-army top brass who live on communist moshavim, and Deri and Porush sat in the government that seems to have killed 45 pilgrims to Meron with secret Directed Energy weapons.

====

Hey, lookie here, what else I just learned about Benny Gantz from Wikipedia:

In July 2011, Gantz appointed a special committee to address a controversy that had developed concerning mention of the word Elokim, “God”, in the military Yizkor prayer. The committee determined that a disputed passage should read Yizkor ‘Am Yisrael, “May the Nation of Israel remember”, and not Yizkor Elokim, “May God remember”. Gantz upheld the committee’s ruling…

Gantz was the chairman of the Fifth Dimension, a computer security and law enforcement technology company, which specialized in tracking via smartphone spyware. The company closed due to financial reasons, after its Russian investor Viktor Vekselberg was sanctioned under CAATSA by the United States during the Special Counsel investigation into Russian attempts to interfere with the US election, led by Robert Mueller.

====

If I was still in ‘investigative journalist’ mode, that would be dinging off the bell pretty loudly, considering what is now going on with ‘contact tracing’ and Covid 19.

But the point is this:

How do we explain all these MKS falling over themselves to suck up to the ‘Messianic’ side of Chabad, in 2020, almost three decades after the Rebbe died?

And it’s not just the fact they recorded messages, as politicians do that all the time. But more what these messages were actually saying.

Really, Naftali Bennett ‘loves’ them? Really, it’s making Yair Lapid so happy to have a chance to do something for ‘his’ shlichim? Really, Benny Gantz is giving the credit for defending the State of Israel to the spiritual activities of Chabad, and Amir Peretz believes the Rebbe is still alive and guiding the movement?

Really?

====

Let’s end with this quote from THIS post, that led to so much kick-back on the site, when I posted it up:

====

Nuff said.

====

POSTSCRIPT:

I just want to underscore, again, that good and bad is mixed up all over the place in this story.

There are some tremendously good people within Chabad, more at the grassroots level, who really deserve all the accolades the movement regularly gets.

The two local shlichim near me both seem to be putting a lot into serving their communities – although I’ll admit to being puzzled how Chabad can afford the rent on their multiple locations in expensive Jerusalem, particularly when most of them barely scrape a minyan.

====

Point is, that I do need to make some teshuva on carelessly lumping good and bad together, without stating this point clearly.

For example, I am in touch with some descendants of the Alter Rebbe via email, who have way better middot than mine.

In that sense, it’s correct to say the yichus doesn’t matter – people can stand for the highest good, or the highest bad, whichever gene pool they happen to have.

And free choice is paramount.

Dafka, the people who come out from the darkest places, and choose ‘against’ that, contain the greatest spiritual light.

====

But at the same time…. There’s a lot of mysteries that need to be cleared up involving Chabad’s tight connection to the secular State of Israel.

And as the State of Israel is a Freemason-Frankist creation, that is obviously going to have a lot of implications, in a lot of ways, for a lot of people.

And we still didn’t pin down where the Vilna Gaon, and his 70 Perushim, and that whole Litvak-Volozhin yeshiva thing fits into this picture yet, either.

But I have a feeling we will.

And probably sooner rather than later.

====

UPDATE:

I just got sent video of the 84 year old holy Rav, Rabbi Eliezer Berland, fainting in court, when he was dragged into the Russian Compound – Shneur Zalman Cheshin St – for questioning earlier in the week.

Watch it, and understand the real mesirut nefesh that our True Tzaddikim are undertaking, in order to sweeten all the terrible gezeirot still coming down on Am Yisrael.

====

And then compare and contrast.

Deri and Porush sat in the government that chased, harassed and persecuted the Rav, and his Shuvu Banim community, for approaching a decade, already – and did nothing to stop it. And let’s not even talk about what happened at Meron, on their watch.

Lapid and Bennett actively ‘went to war’ against the world of Torah in Israel, with the Rav, and Shuvu Banim, and Breslov, as their main target.

Remember, we are in the olam hafuch.

See who these slimy people are praising and sucking up to.

And see who they are persecuting and trying to kill, mamash.

And then draw your own conclusions.

====

Last word for now, from the same person who sent me this video:

Rav Kook saw the video of the Rav fainting in court. He started shaking and said everyone should have extra kavana when they say “break the enemies and subdue the evil doers.”

====

BTW – I’m not taking any more ‘anonymous’ comments on posts about the Rav. If you want to share your opinion, do it with your real name, or don’t bother.

    I should have asked this before. I’ve been thinking about this for a long time.

    So, why didn’t ‘the Rebbe’ (Rabbi Schneerson) ever step foot on this land? Many have asked this question; but now we have, it would seem, more reason to ask, and demand an answer.

      Very interesting, for a lot of reasons. BH, the good people in Chabad, and the good people in the police, and the good people in the government – bekitzur, the good people EVERYWHERE – will start to come to the fore soon, and help to turn things around, peacefully, with their prayers, charity and teshuva.

      The forces of evil keep telling us stories and gaslighting us, so we stop believing our own eyes, and trusting our own senses.

      The more we uproot that ‘world of lies’ internally, and in our dalet amot, the more it crumbles globally. And everyone has their part to play in this process.

    BH I’m at the Weston A. Price Foundation Wise Traditions conference this weekend (dr Cowan is closely affiliated) and during the talk by Dr. David Martin I felt hopeful because there really are people out here exposing the truth face to face. During his talk I thought about your graphic of the dude chilling in the street. Then I realized, maybe that isn’t such a bad idea. Peaceful protest. Resting calmly in the streets, in numbers, and showing you do not comply. What’s the worst that would happen? Be thrown into jail with the Rav? Sounds like a blessing to me. If I were there, with HaShem’s help I hope I would be brave enough to do such a thing. It might take something “drastic” as such. Hm…
