I have a deal with my husband that I can’t be ‘the first’ to put sensitive information out there.

Mostly for spiritual reasons, he’s totally right.

Which is why I’ve been in a big bind the last few months, figuring things out that apparently no-one else knows.

That’s how it seemed, at least in English, at least browsing with Google and DuckDuckGo.

Then last week, I smashed my computer.

It wasn’t an accident.

I picked it up, and smashed it really hard, twice, on the floor, so I wouldn’t have to keep getting into arguments with my husband about the dangers – mostly spiritual – associated with all this ‘research’ I keep finding myself doing.

====

That same day, he went to get me a new one, and told me to continue researching – but not to be the first that publishes sensitive information.

I left the PC in a box for 5 days, as I really, really didn’t want to get back into all this.

But then… after a lot of praying, and a lot of soul-searching, I came to the conclusion that God really does want all this to come out, somehow, because otherwise, how do we rectify ‘the world of lies’ and turn it around into the world of truth?

So, the last few days I’ve been writing up one family tree after another again.

It’s truly exhausting work, on a number of levels, not least because there are so many ‘alter egos’ and multiple personalities going on, where one person has two, or even three, or even four names – and a different family tree associated with each – that sometimes I literally can’t speak by the end of the day.

But I have the feeling that all this needs to come out as fast as possible, and so I’m continuing.

====

Today, I finally got a massive breakthrough.

When I fired up the new computer, I decided to switch my browser to the Russian language Yandex, which seems to be censoring things less, or at least, censoring the things that I’m interested in less.

Long story short, I was trying to fill in some ‘gaps’ in a particular family tree – that I will tell you more about another time – when I literally stumbled across the real family tree for the Alter Rebbe’s ancestors.

All of the details for that family tree, all the information I’m pasting up below, come from the memoirs of one Rabbi J.J. Schneerson.

I am not the first one putting it out there, and before someone started wildly censoring and fabricating Jewish history, this was apparently public information.

So with that intro, let’s get on with.

Note: I’m playing a very straight bat in this post, just putting the info out there.

We can discuss it’s implications another time.

====

If you go to the JewAge website HERE, you’ll find this:

===

This is a screenshot for the Alter Rebbe’s family tree.

It shows clearly that his father was: Israel Boruch Loewy Pauzner (1721-1790), and that his mother’s name is Rivka Shor.

In the official Chabad write-ups for the Alter Rebbe’s family, the surname of his mother’s family is never given.

If you go HERE, you’ll find the entry for ‘Rivka, mother of the Alter Rebbe’ on the Chabadpedia website.

Here’s a snippet – in the original Hebrew first, with my translation:

הרבנית הצדקנית מרת רבקה, אמו של אדמו”ר הזקן, נולדה בויטבסק לאביה הגאון ר’ אברהם.

The Rabbanit and Tzadeket Rivka. Mother of the Alter Rebbe. Born in Vitebsk to her father, the Gaon R’ Avraham.

====

Now, you might ask what’s the big deal with the surname?

Why leave it off?

For the answer to that question, we have to return to what happened with the infamous ‘Shor’ family.

This comes from HERE – the very first post I wrote, trying to track down ‘Real Jewish History’:

====

The Shor family was one of the most well-known in Galicia, and intermarried with many of the biggest rabbinical dynasties.

Sadly, they were also hardcore secret Shabbatians, and when Jacob Frank came along, the family ‘came out’ publically.

You can read more about them HERE. Here’s a taster:

“ELISHA SCHOR, the first known of the ramified Wolowski family, was a descendant of Zalman Naphtali Schor, rabbi of *Lublin. For many years Elisha Schor held the position of Maggid in the community of *Rogatin….

The children of Elisha Schor, Solomon, Nathan, Lipman, Hayyah, and their families adhered to the Frankist sect, until their conversion to Christianity in 1759, when they changed their name to Wolowski (Pol. wol = Heb. shor). They held various positions in the court of Jacob Frank in Poland and in Offenbach.”

====

The Shor family got ‘airbrushed’ out of Jewish history now, so it’s hard tracking them all down. Suffice to say, that while some Schors openly became Frankists and then converted to Catholicism, other members of the family continued to stay within the Jewish community – and many of them continued to be ‘secret Shabbateans’.

====

So, if the Alter Rebbe’s mother was ‘Rivka Shor’, daughter of Chaim Avraham Shor, son of Naftali Hirsch Shor, son of Oyzer Shor, son of Avraham Chaim Shor….

Well.

You can see the problem.

====

====

(As a side note, the ‘Schor’ family are a renamed branch of the ancient ‘Treves’ family. But more about that another time.)

====

So now, that ‘Margela Mirele Schorr’ that I highlighted above can be found ‘in real life’.

====

Her father is listed as one R’ Jacob Shor, ABD Lutzk, Brest-Litvosk (Brisk) and Brody.

And she married Rabbi Eliezer Lippman Heilprin, the ABD of Tarnogrod (1630-1695), and had a LOT of kids.

Now, we have the right time frame for ‘Avraham Chaim Shor’ and his sister Margola, and the rest of their siblings including Ephraim Zalman “Tevias Shor” – roughly between 1630-1695.

That’s important, because so many of the dates are being deliberately fudged and distorted, to make it easier to see how everyone is really related.

Let’s get back to that ‘Elisha Schor’, from above, who was one of Jacob Frank’s closest lieutenants, and who converted out to Catholicism, together with most of his family. Here’s a bit more about him, from the Jewish Encyclopaedia website, HERE:

====

WOLOWSKI (Schor), Christian family in Poland of Jewish origin. In 1755–56, its members joined the *Frankists, after which they converted to Catholicism. Until the 1830s the Wolowski family exclusively married apostate Frankists, but subsequently they also contracted mixed marriages.

ELISHA SCHOR, the first known of the ramified Wolowski family, was a descendant of Zalman Naphtali Schor, rabbi of *Lublin. For many years Elisha Schor held the position of Maggid in the community of *Rogatin, and was among the leaders of Shabbateanism in the southeastern sector of the Polish kingdom.

In 1755, with his sons and his son-in-law Hirsch Shabbetais, the husband of his daughter Hayyah, he joined the sect of Jacob Frank, whom he regarded as the loyal successor of Shabbateanism.

It was at Elisha’s initiative and with his participation that the disputation with the rabbis was held at *Kamenets Podolski in June 1757; he also signed the Patshegen ha-Ta’anot ve-ha-Teshuvot (“Summary of the Arguments and the Replies”). After the death of Bishop M. Dembowski, the patron of the Frankists, Elisha was compelled in the autumn of 1757 to flee across the Turkish border with his followers. He died there during a popular outbreak against the members of the sect.

The children of Elisha Schor, Solomon, Nathan, Lipman, Hayyah, and their families adhered to the Frankist sect, until their conversion to Christianity in 1759, when they changed their name to Wolowski (Pol. wol = Heb. shor). They held various positions in the court of Jacob Frank in Poland and in Offenbach.

====

HERE‘s the family tree that shows that Elisha Shor was the great-grandson of Ephraim Zalman, the ‘Tevuot Shor’:

====

(Another side note: there is confusion about whether the author of the ‘Tevuot Shor‘ is called ‘Ephraim Zalman Shor’ or ‘Alexander Sender Shor. My best guess at this point is that ‘Alexander Sender Shor’ was originally developed as an alter ego, to spare the family’s blushes over Elisha Wolowski. And that this ‘alter ego’ name has been deployed many times now, in many different generations. More on that another time.)

====

Rivka Shor – the Alter Rebbe’s mother – was the same generation as Elisha Shor (Wolowksy), notorious Sabbatean and lieutenant of Jacob Frank who scandalously converted out to Catholicism with his whole family.

====

Obviously, just belonging to these families doesn’t automatically make someone ‘bad’.

But it has to be stressed that most of the extended Shor family were known to be Sabbateans, and that they continued to adhere to the tenets of Shabtai Tzi long after he died.

That’s why they were so fast to embrace Jacob Frank, and Frankism, who presented himself as the ‘reincarnated soul’ of Shabtai Tzvi in his generation, which was part and parcel of the Sabbatean belief system.

It also has to be stressed that these ‘secret Sabbatians’ had a practise of marrying each other – something that was continue by the Frankists, later on.

Let’s continue, because mind-blowing as all this is, there’s something every MORE interesting to tell you about.

====

So, after I saw that the Alter Rebbe’s maternal family tree ties him straight into the Sabbatean-Frankist network, via his mother Rivka Shor, I went back to check out his father’s family.

And here’s where I found something that for me, is even more extraordinary.

====

The following comes from the description on that JewAge site, above, for ‘Baruch Batlan Portugali’, from the memoirs of one Rabbi J.J. Schneerson:

(AKA, the 6th Rebbe of Chabad).

A disciple and follower of R. Joel Baal-Shem of Zamosch.

Lived in Poznań. R. Baruch-Batlan then lived with his family on the Portuguese Street in Poznań. This street got its name from the fact that it was inhabited mainly by refugees from Portugal-Jews who fled from the inquisition. The street was beautiful, and there were imposing buildings on it. The house in which R. Baruch-Batlan lived belonged to the famous rich man, goldsmith Avigdor-Tuvya and his wife Sarah-Gitl.

In addition to the owners of the house, seven other families lived there, all well-to-do, pious and Talmudic Jews. R. Baruch-Batlan lived in this house for thirty years… R. Baruch-Batlan was the first to start looking for another apartment. A few months later, he built his own house on Synagogue Street and moved there with his family. Besides his great learning and righteousness, he was also a large and wealthy merchant.

====

I never heard of this ‘Baal Shem of Zamosc’ before, so I went to look him up.

HERE‘s who is ‘in real life, Rabbi Joel Heilprin, ABD of Ostrog and Lvov.’:

====

His brother, Eliezer Lippman Heilprin is the one married to Margola Shor, above.

Like I said, it’s a very small world.

I never heard of this particular ‘Baal Shem’ before, and something tells me I’m going to be researching this guy for a while to come.

====

But this is some of what I learned about him from Wikipedia:

Yoel Baal Shem was an Orthodox Jewish scholar of Halacha and Kabbalah who lived in Zamość during the 17th century. He became renowned as a Baal Shem (lit. '”Master of [Divine] Names”‘) for performing miracles, commanding demons and authoring Kabalistic amulets.[3][4]

Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak Schneersohn (1880–1950) writes in his memoirs that Yoel’s father was Yisrael Yosef, a disciple of Rabbi Mordecai Yoffe. Sometime after the latter’s passing in 1612 he moved to Zamosc. A year after his arrival to Zamosc he had a son and named him Yoel. Yoel learned for 5 years in the Yeshiva of Rabbi Joel Sirkis who was a Halachist and adherent of Kabbalah.

Yoel married before the age of 20 and started learning Kabbalah. Upon a dream, Yisrael Yosef sent his son Yoel to Prague to learn kabbalah from Rabbi Eliyahu Baal Shem. Yoel became one of the closest students of Rabbi Eliyahu Baal Shem who confided all his special teaching to him. Yoel returned to Zamosc and opened a Yeshiva there which became renowned for teaching both niglah and nistar.

Reb Yoel had a son Uri who learned in the Yeshiva of Rabbi David HaLevi Segal (author of the Turei Zahav) in Ostroh. After the latters passing, he went to learn for another six years under Rabbi Avraham Gombiner (author of Magen Avraham) in Kalisz

Rabbi Yoel Baal Shem was the teacher of Rabbi Adam Baal Shem of Ropczyce, who instructed Rabbi Israel Baal Shem Tov in Kabbalah.

====

Oo-ah!

Interesting. Not least, because there are strong grounds to believe that ‘Adam Baal Shem of Ropczyce‘ was one and the same as ‘Hershel Zoref’ of Vilna, another ‘Sabbatean’ prophet. And something tells me that the Chacham Tzvi is also in the middle of all this, one way or another.

(BTW, if you want to read the 6th Lubavitcher Rebbe’s memoirs discussing all this stuff – in English! – you can. HERE‘s where you’ll find the PDF to download. BH, I can honestly say he’s helped me more than anyone else, to piece all this stuff together.)

Let’s continue with more members of the ‘Batlan’ family.

====

Baruch (Alter Rebbe’s G-Grand-dad) has a brother called ‘David Portugali’.

Here’s what the 6th Lubavitcher Rebbe writes about him:

David lived in a village about fifteen miles from Poznań. He worked the land there with other Jews. All these farmers were Kabbalists and behaved like their ancestors, who were followers of Kabbalah, like most people from Spain and Portugal.

The behavior of the Kabbalists of those times was that they had a tendency to asceticism, distance from society, and seclusion. However, these Kabbalistic farmers from near Poznań were not ascetics and did not seek solitude. But in real life, they behaved as if they were really moving away from society.

They were estranged from each other and came into contact with each other only at the time when Jews should have been together – in minyan, in collective prayer.

Although R. David was an admirer of R. Joel Baal Shema, he visited him very rarely, not like his brother R. Baruch, who regularly visited his rebbe at certain times.

R. David and other Jewish farmers were known throughout the area. They did not need to take their bread, fruits and vegetables from their fields, orchards and vegetable gardens, or wool from their sheep to the nearest cities for sale. Customers themselves came to them in the village for goods.

==

The settlement founded by the Kabbalists, in which each of them had his own allotment, was called Eretz Achaim (“Land of Life”).

It was said throughout the district, as a very definite thing, that everything that grows in the fields, vegetable gardens, orchards or barns of these Kabbalists brings happiness. David was considered the eldest among the other Kabbalists of the settlement. He was considered a great scholar in both Neagle and Nistar.

R. David was a man of spirit, but cold and calculating. Nothing ever bothered him. He was a participant in a happy or sad event that happened to someone only because the Torah prescribes it, and not because he sympathizes with it.

The other person’s joy or grief didn’t affect him. He couldn’t laugh, any more than he could cry. Nothing moved him. He was as dry as a skull. R. David followed good rules in his behavior, as set forth in the holy books, rules that he taught common sense and did not require the manifestation of feelings. He lived according to the Torah’s instructions, but without any warmth. He was sad on the day of Tish’a beAv and happy on the day of Simchat Torah, but only because it was required and indicated.

Moreover, he put all the lofty thoughts of Kabbalah into all this, but inwardly and outwardly he remained cold.

====

I’ve been researching all this stuff for months, and it’s the first time I’ve heard of an agricultural settlement founded by Sephardi and Portuguese ‘Kabbalist-farmers’ in the middle of Posen, Poland.

There is so very much to unpick here.

====

The last thing to share with you – for now! – from the 6th Lubavitcher Rebbe’s memoirs concerns another member of the Batlan – Portugali family, named Binyamin.

He is another son of ‘Baruch Batlan’ (Alter Rebbe G-Grandfather).

Here’s the snippet from the memoirs:

“He was accepted as a rabbi in Grodno, a city famous then for its great scientists. From there, Binyamin’s name became known throughout Poland and Lithuania, as well as in Jewish communities outside these countries.”

====

Here he is, on geni:

====

Binyamin Broda (Portugali’s) second wife is the grand-daughter of Jacob Frank.

Via Frank’s daughter Annie Rosa (Rivka Shoshana) Mayer.

And in turn, she is the mother of Chabad’s Rebbetzin ‘Leah Golda Alecsandrov‘, mother of the Chabad Rebbe number 4.

====

Last thing, for now.

That same ‘Binyamin Broda’ was fingered by Athol Bloomer, a real life descendent of Catholic Frankists who likes to mix up a lot of ‘Real Jewish History’ with figments of his fertile imagination, as the ‘Secret Frankist Tzaddik’ who remained within the Jewish community, to subvert it from within.

I’m not saying that definitely is true.

What I AM saying, is that there is such a big cover-up going on here, that certainly there has to be some cause for all this deliberate obfuscation of what should be simple history, simple facts.

And with God’s help, we’re getting closer and closer to figuring that out.

====

So, Israel apparently has a ‘new’ government and a ‘new’ President.

‘Itzhak Eizak’ Herzog got the vote from more than three quarters of the MK’s in our oh-so-corrupt Knesset, including from the ‘religious’ parties.

Now the blinkers are off, it’s clear that he’s the choice ‘from outside’ that got parachuted into the cushy position of ‘President of the State of Israel’, to continue the Frankist-Freemason agenda for this country.

Because, as I keep saying, it doesn’t matter who we really vote for, or who we really get leading us, they will only be allowed to rise to the top and wield real power, if they are part of the ‘machine’ that’s been controlling the Jewish world for centuries, already.

====

All these people are connected to each other, with very deep family and idealogical ties that go back a very long way.

I’m currently wading through more and more of the family trees, and the details that have been deliberately hidden from the public, and the the ‘false personas’ and fake stories that have been created to hide just how incestuous all this really is.

BH, I will have another chunk of Real Jewish History for you a little later today.

====

But in the meantime, I was totally struck by the video up on the Yeshiva World News site, together with the ‘puff piece‘ praising the secular Herzog as the ‘religious world’s choice’ for President.

Here it is, below, almost a full four minutes of Herzog only talking (in English) about his meeting with the late Lubavitch Rebbe, and how important it was for Herzog’s father – who was not a ‘religious’ man – to get the Rebbe’s blessing for his son:

====

I’m just finding it so strange, that 25 years after the Rebbe died, secular politicians in Israel do a whole interview just reminiscing about meeting the Lubavitch Rebbe.

Why?

At least externally, the Chabad community in Israel is not very large, and it’s not like a lot of people are going to run out and ‘vote for him’ just because he met the Rebbe 30 years ago.

So what’s really going on here?

Watch the interview yourselves, see what ‘floats up’ in your own consciousness.

====

And then, if you’re bored, there are a whole bunch of other ‘secular-politicians-falling-over-themselves-to-meet-the-Rebbe’ videos you can watch, too.

Like this one, with Ariel Sharon:

====

Ariel is positively glowing when he speaks about his close relationship with the Rebbe, and all the meetings and yichidus he had with him over the years, starting in 1967.

Ah, Ariel Sharon.

We all remember what a tremendous force for good he was for Israel….

And where all that ‘advice’ and deferment to the Rebbe’s instructions led…

Let’s change the subject.

====

If you want more strange videos of rabidly secular Israeli politicians sucking up to the Rebbe over the years, then the good news is there are a lot to choose from.

But I’ll leave you with this one, of a young Benjamin (Nitay) Netanyahu, ‘getting a blessing’ from the Rebbe (with full text below).

====

Here’s a little of what they say (but I highly recommend you watch it yourself, to see how deferential Bibi is towards the Rebbe.)

Rebbe: I had much satisfaction from your first speech.

Bibi: I heard and saw your message.

Rebbe: May you continue in this path. God helps all those who wish to elevate others. How much more so when one begins with himself. Please don’t hold it against me for speaking about this in public.

Bibi: I intend to continue precisely on this path. I’ve heard the Rebbe’s message well.

Rebbe: It is the best path to avoid war, etc. “With tranquility and restfulness shall you be saved.” Blessing and success.

Bibi: I thank you for the opportunities to be helped by you, and to receive the spiritual guidance you provide not just for me, but for all Jews.

Rebbe: I am just starting my work.

Bibi: I know.

Rebbe: You are also just starting your new role.

Bibi: I have come to you at the start and I intend to return to you many times.

Rebbe: You will have to struggle with 119 others in the Knesset. Surely, you won’t be intimidated. Because God is on this side. Blessing and success with God’s mission.

====

Which side is God really on?

Is God really on Netanyahu’s side?

That selfsame Bibi Netanyahu who has been behind the ongoing persecution of Rav Berland over the last 7-8 years, which is continuing right now?

That same guy that sold all the citizens of Israel down the river to Big Pharma, with his ‘secret’ deal with Pfizer to forcibly inject as many of us as possible with the dangerous experimental ‘gene therapy‘ (aka magnetized nanobots that can hack into your brain…)?

That same guy who signed off on the ‘Covid 19 plans’ for Meron this year?

And who then deliberately started a war to try to take the nation’s mind of things, when Meron didn’t exactly go as planned and too many people realised that a mass casualty event had been deliberately organised by the government, to bring the religious public to heel?

That same guy who – I have a sneaking suspicion – will try to launch a war with Iran in the week he has left as PM, just so he can stay in power, and try to stuff all the skeletons back into the exploding cupboard?

====

At this stage, it’s hard – nay, impossible – for me to say that God is on Netanyahu’s side.

And what on earth is ‘the mission’ that the Rebbe apparently sent Netanyahu to do?

Let me put it out to the readers:

Can anyone out there tell me what ‘this mission’ actually is / was?

Because apart from polarising the country; destroying small businesses by the hundreds of thousands; welcoming missionaries of every stripe; indulging in regular ‘wars’ with Gaza that are just for show; locking us all down for a year and destroying our mental health; force vaxxing everything that moved with experimental gene therapies; controlling the press; sending the murderous police after Torah Jews in a myriad different ways; kick-starting massive anti-semitism across the globe; and taking bribes and kick-backs for so many things that we still don’t even know a fraction about –

What other ‘missions’ did Netanyahu actually engage in?

====

Sigh.

What I’m trying to tell you – again – is that the State of Israel is being run by the members of one big, extended family.

We’ve been covering some of those deep family connections between the ‘secular’ political world and the apparently ‘religious’ world here on the blog for the last few months, and I’m getting closer and closer to finally pinning this down.

But in the meantime, go back and read some of these posts, to see how ‘Rivlins’ and ‘Schneersons’ have been interconnected in Lithuania, and then over in Eretz Israel, too, right from the start.

====

Once you know more of what’s really going on, it becomes obvious why Herzog is our new President, and why the first thing he did is put out a video in English stating he was ‘blessed’ by the Lubavitcher Rebbe.

It’s the same people, the same extended family, running the show here, regardless of external appearances and claims of being ‘religious’ or otherwise.

Poor Miriam Peretz.

She may have lost two sons on active duty in the IDF; she may have been the people’s choice – she definitely WAS the public’s choice for President – but she didn’t get a blessing from the Rebbe.

And when all is said and done, that seems to be the only thing that really counts, here.

UPDATE:

How do we explain this, from the Arutz 7 website HERE:

Senior Chabad rabbi pleads with Yamina MKs not to join Lapid – Israel National News

Rabbi Yitzhak Yehuda Yaroslavsky, considered the most senior Chabad rabbi in Israel, has sent a letter to the members of the Yamina party, pleading with them to reverse their decision to partner with center and left-wing parties to establish a coalition with Yair Lapid and others.

Yeshiva World News notes that the customary practice of Chabad rabbis is to avoid involvement in politics and that this step is a significant deviation from that quasi-policy.

“I am turning to you, unlike my usual habit, at literally the last moment, and in the lashon of the passuk [as is stated in the Torah] (Parshat Korach 16: 26): ‘Please turn away from the tents of these evil ones and don’t touch anything of theirs lest you die because of their sins,’” Rabbi Yaroslavsky wrote.

“This step poses a great danger to Klal Yisrael [the Jewish People] in all aspects and will be a bechiyahl’dorot [a source of weeping for generations] and it won’t be possible to stop the deterioration of this decision after, G-d forbid, the government is sworn in.

Anyone who thwarts this plan is assured that he will merit [great blessings]; withstanding this challenge will bring infinite blessing to each one of you and your families … You will be engraved with golden letters in the history of the Jewish People as having withstood this great test at a difficult time, and for bringing salvation to the Jewish People.”

====

Chabad didn’t send a letter like that when Yair Lapid and Bennett partnered with Netanyahu, 8 years ago, when Yesh Atid and Likud launched an all-out war on the Torah world in Israel.

So what’s so different this time?

And why are Chabad issuing not-so-veiled death threats like this?

====

UPDATE 2:

More ‘political pressure’ from the ‘apolitical’ Chabad, from Arutz 7:

Australian Chabad tycoon Yosef Gutnick, who in recent years has politically supported Yamina No. 2 Ayelet Shaked, saying that he sees her as the successor of Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, wrote an open letter to her that was published in Yisrael Hayom on Monday.

“You and I know each other for many years,” Gutnick wrote. “I always strongly supported you, for your loyal adherence to the values we share – a strong and uncompromising right-wing government – to prevent the establishment of a Palestinian state and not to allow portions of Eretz Yisrael to be given away.”

“Right-wing voters believed and trusted you, but now their votes are being stolen by you and other MKs by joining a government with partners you promised in the past not to sit with under any circumstances.”

“We recognize the right of others to think differently from us but most voters in the last election voted for a right-wing government. The Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rav Menachem Mendel Schneerson, always opposed any compromise on the Land of Israel, demanded our commitment to the sheleimus of our Eretz HaKodesh, and warned that such a government is dangerous to the residents of Israel and the Jewish people throughout the world.

“You always expressed great respect for the Rebbe. What changed? Why not go to another election so that your voters don’t feel cheated and can express whether or not they agree with your actions and those of your colleagues? Isn’t that the honest and democratic approach? What are you afraid of?

“Don’t be influenced by those who strive for power at all costs,” Gutnick asserted, in an apparent reference to Naftali Bennett. “In the name of everyone who trusts in you, please don’t take part in this so-called ‘government of change.’ Prevent this disaster, for the sake of the kavod and sheleimus of the Torah, Am Yisrael, and Eretz Yisrael. This is the hour of truth for you and your colleagues, to be sincere and honest representatives.”

Yamina MKs are getting a lot of death threats.

And no-one in this country wants a 5th election, just because a failed, corrupt prime minister who sold us out to big business, and big Pharma – repeatedly – can carry on running the country as his own private fiefdom.

There’s a lot more to say here…

I just got a message that a nationwide prayer rally for Rav Berland is happening right now.

Please say 7 Tikkun Haklalis, and 1 Pirkey Nivcharim for the Rav.

But really, it’s for us.

Iran seems to be imploding from within right now…

All the prayers are being put to good use.

And we all need so many prayers in our own lives, too.

So whatever you can manage, now’s the time – whenever you happen to read this, it all counts.

And may we just hear good news.

Back in September 2020, against all the odds, I found myself in Uman for Rosh Hashana.

***Updates Below***

My blog had been hacked within a few days of me arriving, so I ended up writing about what was going on for the RavBerland.com site, HERE.

Towards the end of my stay there, when it was a day before Rosh Hashana, and it was obvious that despite all the effort, all the contortions, to follow the ‘Coronavirus Rules’ in Uman as set out by the ISRAELI government, they weren’t going to let anyone else into Uman, a bunch of leaflets got dumped all over the floor of Pushkina Street.

====

Here’s what they said:

*Voted for Shas or Gimmel (United Torah Judaism)? You got Bibi and Gamzu, who chased after, with anti-semitism and cruelty, the Rosh Hashana of Rabbenu in Uman. Breslov chassid: remember, and don’t forget!

==

*On the way to Uman for Rosh Hashana 5781: Thousands of Breslov chassidim experienced 20 days of exile and suffering in Belarus. And the ‘chareidi’ leaders in the Knesset, Deri, Litzman and Porush stayed silent. The chareidi newspapers, HaDerech, HaMevasar, HaModia, totally and utterly ignored the anti-semitic persecution of Breslov Chassidiut. Until when?? Breslov chassid: remember, and don’t forget!

==

* Myriads of Breslov Chassidim are pointing an accusing finger against the Chareidi parties, who abandoned us, and our request to fulfill the will of Rabbenu, our teacher, his merit should protect us, amen, to come to him on Rosh Hashana. And even, [they] joined in with the wicked, cruel, anti-semitic persecution, that was without parallel, at the hands of Bibi Netanyahu and the members of his government. It won’t be forgotten, and it won’t be forgiven!

==

* Deri, Litzman and Porush! Myriads of Breslov Chassidim have a pained, broken and ripped heart, from the decrees of Netanyahu and Gamzu. How could you totally ignore what was going on? Breslov chassid: Remember, and don’t forget!

====

When I wrote about all this back in September – how the ‘chareidi’ politicians, the ‘chareidi’ papers, the ‘chareidi’ movers and shakers totally turned their backs on thousands of pilgrims to Uman – and sided with the anti-semitic, evil government which was overtly and covertly persecuting them – I got some flack for that.

“Deri got you in to Uman….” I was told.

“UTJ went to bat for you. They did everything they could,” I was told.

I didn’t believe it then.

And I certainly don’t believe it now.

====

I’m totally a-political.

I’m not a leftist, or a rightist. I don’t vote. I believe all politicians are totally corrupt, and that the political system is a sideshow, a ‘distraction’ to make you and me feel like we really have some say in what’s going on.

Really?

Every single politician is bought and paid for.

Part of the system of ‘control from the top’. Anyone who can’t or won’t be ‘controlled’ doesn’t last very long, or get very far.

Politics is a dirty business, lest we forget, and just having a beard and a rebbe doesn’t change that.

====

So, I switched on my PC for the first time in days, and I saw this article that my friend sent me, from the Times of Israel:

Forty-five people died at Meron. Why are Haredi parties blocking a probe?

WHY are they blocking an independent State Commission?s

The possible answers to that are terribly disturbing for ‘frum Jews’ like you and me – that’s why we have to keep fighting the tendency to shove all this under the carpet, and run away from it.

We have to look this monster in the face, for the 45 people who died in Meron – and also for ourselves.

====

Then, I read all these statements by ‘frum politicians’ trying to slay any opposition to Netanyahu and ‘the right bloc’ – and honestly, I am totally sickened by them.

I sit here, I put two and two together – and I understand that all these people are really the same. They are serving the same god – i.e. themselves, and their own vested interests – except one group has a beard and a rebbe, and the other group doesn’t.

45 people were deliberately murdered in Meron, on orders that came straight from the top.

And here we have ‘frum yidden’ who are not only going all out to cover that up, they are also actively praising the person who ultimately gave those orders as ‘the savior of Israel’.

====

Let’s update the stuff from Uman, for Meron:

* Myriads of frum Jews are pointing an accusing finger against the Chareidi parties, who abandoned us, and our request to fulfill the will of Rabbenu, Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai, our teacher, his merit should protect us, amen, to come to him on L’ag B’omer – in a safe and respectful manner.

And even, [they] joined in with the wicked, cruel, anti-semitic persecution, that was without parallel, at the hands of Bibi Netanyahu and the members of his government, that resulted in 45 people being murdered in a crush that was deliberately created by the police at the bottom of the ‘Reb Dov Shvil’ stairs.

It won’t be forgotten, and it won’t be forgiven!

====

I know it’s painful.

I know it’s so, so disturbing.

But the rot here goes so very deep, in every direction.

====

Yesterday night, I had a very powerful dream, where the atrocity at Meron was being ‘recreated’ – i.e. the same thing tried again, except in a different location.

I watched as all these ‘bad actors’ pretended to be this person and that person, all following their script, all playing their part in a perfectly-choreographed ‘drama’ that was again designed to kill as many frum Jews as possible.

Except this time, in my dream, someone sounded the alarm.

====

Someone went around telling all the innocent members of the public that there were demons in our midst, ‘dressed up’ to look a certain way to fool the public, but who were really just ‘bad actors’, playing their part in trying to trap, injure and kill religious Jews.

So, when those ‘bad actors’ showed up with their gates, and their blueprint for how to crush more Jews to death – we fought back.

We stood up to them.

We didn’t just ‘roll over’ and go along with what the ‘Police Actors’, and the ‘Politician Actors’, and yes, the ‘Rebbe Actors’ told us.

And  as soon as we did that, they – and the threat they really pose to Torah Jews and Judaism itself – disappeared just-like-that.

It was a good dream.

It came to teach a very important message.

====

Last week, one of my kids was a sadranit (usher) at a wedding for one of the big chassidic Rebbes, that got moved to the sports arena in Jerusalem, because it was ‘safer’ after what happened when the bleachers collapsed at the Karlin-Stolin shul in Givat Ze’ev.

She came home very disturbed by the whole experience.

She told me there were 10-11,000 people in the Arena – and every single one of them had a ‘Green Passport’ to flash, together with their entrance ticket.

My daughter has been an usher for quite a few different events the last few months, and even with ‘secular’ crowds, there is always a large contingent that doesn’t have a ‘Green Passport’.

And they are always let in, quietly, one way or another.

====

But that night, there was not a single person who wasn’t waving a ‘Green Passport’ to show they’d been cheerfully ‘vaccinated’ in her face.

She asked someone what was going on, and she was told:

The Rebbe said everyone needed to get a ‘Green Passport’ in order to come to the wedding, so we all did it.

Just like that.

Apparently with no questions asked.

====

Moshe Leon, the Mayor of Jerusalem, was guest of honor at the wedding.

And my daughter told me that all night, there were massive adverts going on all over the place for the different kupot, or health funds, that exist in Israel.

When she asked someone what was going on, she got told:

How do you think we pay for all of this?

Ah.

Big Pharma and the Ministry of Health are funding chassidic weddings in Jerusalem.

That starts to explain so much, doesn’t it?

====

The rot goes so very deep, and it can’t be labelled as a problem just for ‘secular’ people, or ‘leftists’.

Those ‘bad actors’ exist all over the place, they are on every side of ‘the argument’ – and usually, they are the ones who are leading all the machloket, and hatred of ‘the other’.

====

I have so much more to say on this subject.

But I’ve said enough for now.

We need to stop making excuses for ‘bad actors’ just because they have beards and rebbes.

When things don’t make sense – when they seem wrong, bad or dangerous – we need to find our courage and our voices, and to start speaking up and questioning what is really going on.

Pikuach nefesh – saving a soul, saving a life – is a massive mitzvah in the Torah.

There are people in the world who are mamash trying to kill us, just for wanting to live an authentic Torah life, and just for wanting to serve God and to believe in our True Tzaddikim.

And there are people with beards and rebbes who are ‘in bed’ with those evil people, and following the scripts they are being given to recite, to manipulate and control the people who believe they are really ‘frum yidden’.

But this time, when the gates go up again – when the bleachers ‘fall down’ again – we need to push back with all our might.

Remember this. And don’t forget.

====

UPDATE:

Yesterday, I went to see a good friend in Bet Shemesh I haven’t seen for ages.

We were talking about what happened at Meron, and she told me the story of her gannenet’s brother. (A gannenet is a kindergarten teacher.)

That brother had died in the crush at Meron.

People then came to his shiva, and explained how that brother had pulled them out of the crush, and saved their lives.

But then somehow, he was taken in an ambulance to hospital where he somehow – inexplicably – died.

Not only that, the hospital / Abu Kabir then refused to release his body to the family for two whole days.

My friend isn’t a news junkie like yours truly, but she found something about this whole situation with the gannenet’s brother terribly disturbing.

====

When I was discussing this with another friend, and telling her how Abu Kabir was refusing to hand over the autopsy results on the people who died to Lahav 443 – the police agency that is supposedly investigating what happened in Meron – my friend told me:

But we don’t do autopsies in Israel.

And I just looked at her incredulous.

Because, of course that’s what they were doing in Abu Kabir.

With or without the families’ consent, because don’t you know?

We live in a dictatorship, where things like ‘free choice’ and ‘human rights’ actually don’t exist, and especially not for religious Jews.

====

There are some very disturbing implications here, for how Zaka, and United Hatzolah are really operating hand-in-hand with the government, to do things that should not be done, according to Torah law.

(In case you didn’t know, Magen Dovid Adom is a government agency, just with a different name, so OF COURSE they are serving the State of Israel’s agenda. But United Hatzolah and Zaka are meant to be ‘independent’ charities. In theory.)

====

When I went back to Meron, I realised two things about United Hatzolah:

  1. There is a camera mounted on the wall of the ‘United Hatzolah’ command centre, directly at the bottom of the Reb Dov Shvil steps, were 45 people were deliberately suffocated to death behind a police barrier that the police are still claiming doesn’t exist.

That camera is pointed straight up the enclosed ‘alley’ built by the Ministry of Health especially for this year’s L’ag B’omer, and it for sure has footage of exactly how the exit was blocked, when, and by who – and the results of that action.

We know the police went through Meron disabling all the “independent” CCTV cameras in Meron the day before L’ag B’omer.

My gut is telling me that the United Hatzolah camera was still operating, and has a very important story to tell.

I want that footage to be made public.

====

2) The second thing I realised about ‘United Hatzolah’ is in plain view – and very disturbing.

And it is this:

That killer crush occurred RIGHT NEXT TO THEIR ‘COMMAND CENTRE’ IN MERON.

You see that brown / grey structure in the picture below, roofed with white sheeting?

That’s the permanent ‘United Hatzolah’ central command post in Meron.

====

The United Hatzolah ‘command centre is right at the bottom of those stairs, where 45 people died.

This makes it even more incredible to me, that a fatal crush developed over the course of 10 minutes – and it took 10 minutes before United Hatzolah ‘arrived on the scene’ to start helping people, and to put the call out about what going on.

How is this even possible?

Were the ‘United Hatzolah’ people in central command asleep, as that killer crush occurred right outside their window?

Why didn’t they get involved immediately, to force the police to remove the gates and release the suffocating pressure on the crowd?

How could ‘trained first-aiders’ not recognise what was developing, literally before their eyes, and NOT CALL FOR HELP FOR TEN MINUTES?

====

And then there are more first-hand accounts, like THIS, sent to me by one of my readers, written by a mother who had several children caught up in events at Meron, including by those stairs:

When I checked the news Sunday morning, it was like reading about a completely different event than the eyewitness reports I heard.

What those attending all said – that I didn’t see discussed at all in the English news – was that the sole exit from the Toldos Aharon hadlaka was blocked by a gate put up by the police. At the same time that more and more people were allowed in at the entrance, no one could get out, leading to a deadly crush and numerous people dying of suffocation.

====

Here’s another snippet from those eye-witness accounts:

When the announcement was made that people had died, the atmosphere at Meron changed in an instant. All music and dancing ceased immediately, replaced by tehillim, crying, screaming. Everyone was ordered to leave – at least 100,000 people.

But there was no plan, no clear evacuation directions. People were told to go in one direction and ran there, to be told they had to go in the other direction and then ran in that direction.

No cars were allowed in, no buses were allowed in. There was almost no cell coverage, people couldn’t call for help, look up directions, or contact family members whom they were separated from.

====

Whatever else the 5,000 police assigned to Meron were doing that night, ‘helping people’ and ‘maintaining safety and order’ was not on the priority list.

====

Dear readers, this is still only the tip of the iceberg.

Why are our ‘chareidi’ politicians – and the ‘religious leaders’ who are backing them – trying to quash an independent State Commission into Meron?

Why is it that a month on, the police haven’t even questioned the policemen and women who were directly involved in the incident, nor any other official?

This from HERE:

Kikar HaShabbat news site has stated that thus far the police are just conducting checks and have not yet investigated any police officer or official.

====

If all this isn’t setting off the ‘massive cover up’ alarm, then I don’t know what will.

The State of Israel – and all the ‘frum yidden’ who are working hand-in-glove with it, despite appearances to the contrary – want this story buried and forgotten about.

Because when the truth comes out, we’re all going to understand what we are really dealing with, and how much moral corruption of every stripe exists on all sides of this equation.

But the blood by those stairs in Meron is literally boiling.

And this story is not going to just ‘go away’, until real justice has been done, and those responsible for the murder in Meron are exposed, and brought to justice.

For the last three weeks, I’ve been a woman possessed.

From the time the atrocity in Meron occurred, three weeks ago today, I’ve barely slept and I’ve been totally consumed with ‘getting the truth out there’, any way I could.

BH, with a lot of siyatta di shmeya, and a lot of help from a lot of other people here on the blog and elsewhere, we’ve pulled enough of the picture together now into that PDF, that I’m kind of feeling like my job is done.

That’s not to say I won’t come back to it if God gives me a nudge to do that, but now that BH it looks like there will be a State Commission of Inquiry after all, and that more and more people are opening their eyes to what really happened in Meron, I think I need to take a break from the subject.

====

It’s been SOOO intense the last three weeks – mini-pogroms and wars notwithstanding – and I need a rest.

Which of course, means going back to ‘fun’ stuff like writing about evil fake vaccines and trying to track down more Freemason-Frankists…

And I also want to press ‘pause’ on the lashon hara l’toelet that I’ve had to engage in the last few weeks, to really try and stop the police cover-up in Meron.

When bad things happen, we have to explore them, we have to deal with them – but it’s a mistake to keep looking for the bad, once the ‘job has been done’.

(I’m clearly going to fall back into speaking lashon hara again… but at least I’m trying to not to. Like all of us.)

====

So, let’s end this week with a miracle story from Meron, which you can read the full story of HERE, in English.

====

His life was saved when he yelled out that he was going to do a pidyon nefesh with Rav Berland.

And he also clearly describes how the exit was blocked by the police – and from what he describes, the police seemed to have blocked the ‘Reb Dov Shvil’ at both the top of the metal ramp for people who were ascending, as well as at the bottom of the stairs – which is another piece of information that needs careful scrutiny.

But not by me.

BH, it’s gone enough ‘mainstream’ now that other people are asking the questions, and with God’s help will find the answers:

Life is crazy right now, mamash.

Especially in Israel.

But geula is so close, you can smell it in the air.

And we just have to hang on for one more minute.

If you think there is no ‘Litvack’ interest in Meron, you’d be wrong.

***Updates below***

Granted, most of us believe that the Litvack / Lithuanian interest in Meron kind of starts and stops with statements like the one below, from R’ Gershon Edelstein in Bnai Brak – who appears to have some form of mild ruach hakodesh.

====

On April 28th, 2021 – two days before the mass murder in Meron – he put out the following heavily publicised statement:

Rabbi Edelstein: ‘We do not travel to Meron’

Leading Lithuanian-haredi rabbi calls on followers not to travel to Meron on Lag Ba’omer. ‘We do not travel; we sit and learn.’

====

Snippet below:

“We have learned from the Brisker Rav, from the Chazon Ish, from the Ponevezher Rav – and they did not travel [to Meron],” [R’ Edelstein] explained, listing former leaders of the Lithuanian-haredi community.

“They did not travel, and therefore we do not travel. We sit and learn: Learning Torah is equal to everything else. We do not travel: Torah learning is equal to all else.”

====

So that’s nice and clear, isn’t it.

And if that wasn’t nice and clear enough, we have other more minor luminaries in the Litvack universe echoing the same message ad nauseum. Like this, from HERE:

Yes, Lag Ba’Omer is a happy day!… But who says we are supposed to celebrate a Yohrtzeit of Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai and the illumination of the Zohar that he taught with mass events that outstrip the most grandiose wedding?… Something has gone terribly wrong.

When I was in Yeshiva Rabbi Chaim Berlin under the guidance of Rav Yitzchok Hutner ZT”L (1906-1980) I do not recall any special mention or fuss being made about Lag Ba’Omer. There was no hadlaka (bonfire) tthere, there was no special singing or dancing, there was no official lecture about the day. Nothing. Just no Tachanun, perhaps a wedding or two of students.

This is admittedly the Litvish, Lithuanian yeshiva approach…

====

But of course, everyone should be holding by it.

That’s the ‘subliminal message’ I picked up from all these articles. And it’s the same message you get about daring to go to Uman for Rosh Hashana, too. Good Jews, good ‘Litvaks’ just don’t do that sort of un-Jewish, quasi-avoda-zorah stuff involving travelling to tzaddikim.

But there is a puzzle here that I can’t quite seem to figure out.

So I thought I’d try and thresh it out here on the blog, and we’ll see what turns up.

====

On Pini Dunner’s blog HERE, he set out who ‘owns’ Meron, on the religious side of the equation.

Relevant snippet below:

Ultimate control over what happens in Meron is in the hands of a shadowy group known as the Va’adat Hachamisha (“committee of five”)…

One of the two Ashkenazi groups [who ‘own’ Meron] is headed by Rabbi Avrohom Frohlich – the former proprietor of a Judaica auction house in Jerusalem who closely associates himself with the Brisk community in Jerusalem, a group that utterly rejects the State of Israel’s legitimacy… He is closely followed in his inflexibility and refusal to consider any changes to Meron’s infrastructure by his Ashkenazi counterpart, Rabbi Mordechai Dov Hacohen Kaplan, son of Safed’s late chief rabbi, Rabbi Avraham Simcha Hacohen Kaplan.

====

Me being me, I went to look these people up.

Let’s start with R’ Mordechai Dov Hacohen Kaplan, descendant of Shabtai, aka the SHACH, whose family have ‘inherited’ the position of Chief Rabbi of Tzfat over the last six generations.

There’s lot of interesting stuff I could tell you, but let’s focus in on this pertinent snippet, for this post:

The Kaplan family are about as hardcore ‘Litvak’ as it comes.

If you go to the Hebrew Wikipedia entry for R’ Avraham Simcha Hacohen Kaplan, here’s a bit of what you learn:

He was a member of the Council of Torah Scholars of Degel HaTorah. Degel HaTorah is an: ‘ultra-orthodox Lithuanian political party in Israel’.

Not only that, R’ Kaplan senior seems to have studied with just about every big Litvak ‘luminary’ of the 20th century, including:

  • Rabbi Chaim Ozer Grodzensky
  • Rabbi Shabtai Yagel of the Slonim Yeshiva
  • Rabbi Shabtai Weigel Slonim of the Mir Yeshiva
  • Rabbi Shmuel Rozovsky of the Lomza Yeshiva (and later of the Ponevezh Yeshiva)

And while he’s at the Lomza Yeshiva, he rubbed shoulders with many other ‘Litvak’ luminaries, including:

Rabbi Yosef Rozovsky, Rabbi Reuven Yosef Gershonovich , Rabbi Eliyahu Mishkovsky , Rabbi Zalman Rotenberg , Rabbi Zvi Markowitz, Rabbi Chaim Kanievsky and more.

====

And if that wasn’t enough, he makes aliya to Israel with none other than the Brisker Rabbi himself, R’  Yitzhak Zeev Halevi Soloveitchik, descendent of R’ Chaim of Volozhin.

And if THAT wasn’t enough to prove just how ‘Litvak’ R’ Avraham Simcha Hacohen Kaplan really was, he got his smicha from another very interesting big personality in the Litvak world, called R’ Isser Zalman Meltzer of the Slutsk yeshiva.

In fact, there is so much huge, Litvak yichus going on there, on his Wikipedia page, it’s almost making my eyes water.

So now, let’s set out the difficulty I’m having.

====

How is it, that the two Ashkenazi organisations who are part of the “Va’adat Hachamisha” who control the site of Meron on the ‘frum’ side of the equation are both being run by people with very deep ties to the Litvak community?

For example, R’ Mordechai Dov Hacohen Caplan’s sister is married to Rav Mordechai Drori, the Rosh Yeshivah of Yeshivas Chemed.

Rav Drori’s brother was the late R’ Ozer Drori, who according to the YWN,

“[L]earned in Ponevezh as a bochur under his Rav, Hagaon Harav Gershon Edelstein.”

====

Hey, wait a minute.

Where have we heard that name before?

Ah yes, I remember now:

Rabbi Edelstein: ‘We do not travel to Meron’

====

R’Avraham Froehlich is proving harder to track down ‘in the real world’, but I will take Pini Dunner’s word for it, at least for now, that he’s closely associated with the Brisk Litvak faction.

So, that makes two out of the two Ashkenazi groups who ‘own’ Meron being run by people who are about as LITVACK as you can get.

So now, the questions start to multiply like mushrooms after rain.

Here’s a few, to get us started.

====

  • How did this strange situation come about, given that no Litvaks rabbis light bonfires at Meron, nor apparently hold with the custom of ‘praying to dead people’, and other things they like to describe as ‘quasi-avoda-zorah’?

  • Why have the two Litvak Ashkenazi groups who ‘own’ Meron been blocking the very necessary renovations required, for the site to be able to safely accommodate the hundreds of thousands of people who visit every year?
  • Why is it that none of us know that the same people who tell us ‘not to go to Meron’ for L’ag B’omer are closely linked to the people who ‘own’ Meron, at least on the Ashkenazi side of the equation?
  • Who gets to decide who should be leading the Ashkenazi organisations who participate in the “Va’adat Hachamisha”.
  • Who put the money down, in the first place, to create these Ashkenazi Hekdashs, and to get them recognised by the Ottoman rulers of Israel 200 years ago? (If we can get the answer to that, then we’ll really start to know a whole bunch of other things, too.)

====

Do you see the problem, here?

The Chassidim are getting blamed for the ‘awful infrastructure’ of the RASHBI tomb at Meron, by the secular authorities and the police, and also – and often much more harshly – by people who proudly claim to be religious Jews who are part of the Litvak world.

But who is really at least partly responsible for that ‘awful infrastructure’ in the first place?

The two Ashkenazi ‘hekdash’ institutions, who officially ‘own’ at least a bit of Meron – and who are being run by dyed-in-the-wool Litvaks.

There appears to be something very strange going on here, and another mystery that needs solving.

BH, with God’s help, we’ll get to it.

====

In the meantime, let’s be clear that the hardcore Litvak community in Israel has a very strong, historical link to the ‘ownership’ of Meron, and that this link has been deliberately obscured from the public, for reasons that are not yet obvious.

Now we know this information, we can start to ask why the Litvak people running the Ashkenazi institutions that ‘own’ Meron don’t stand aside, and let representatives of the communities who actually believe in things like going to Meron for L’ag B’omer, and the importance of visiting the graves of tzaddikim take over?

I mean, c’mon guys, what does Meron have to do with learning Toyrah?

And why are you running these organisations when you clearly don’t believe in the whole inyan of going to Meron for L’ag B’omer in the first place?

What else is going on here, under the surface?

I think it’s time we popped the hood, and tried to find out.

UPDATE:

A reader sent me links to the following:

First THIS, which explains how the feuds between the Ashkenazi and Sephardi organisations who ‘own’ Meron have basically brought us to the stage where the State of Israel is ANYWAY going to expropriate the tomb of the Rashbi at the end of three years, in 2023 if they can’t figure out how to work together, to do what needs to be done at the Kever.

The basic gist is that in 2008, there was a State Comptroller’s report into the RASHBI site, that lambasted the ‘owners’ for not renovating the site properly, and keeping it properly maintained.

==

Then at the end of 2011, the State of Israel decided it was going to ‘expropriate’ the site – which honestly, also makes me queasy, as I don’t trust a thing the State of Israel decides to do, vis-a-vis things that are holy to yiddishkeit, and to Jews, generally.

So then, a massive court battle ensued, which apparently only ended in February 2020 of last year, where the ‘Vaad HaHamisha’ – or ‘Council of Five’ in Meron – was given three years to put appropriate administrative arrangements for the site in place (whatever that actually means…).

If they didn’t manage to do that – then the State of Israel ‘reserved the right’ to expropriate ownership of the site at the end of 2023.

====

If we could trust the government here, and if we could believe that it really only has the best interests of the religious Jewish community at heart, maybe that wouldn’t be such an issue

But we can’t.

And so it is.

====

The next article my reader found is also very interesting, in English, HERE:

Here’s a longish snippet:

Between the rival [Ashkenazi and Sephardi] trusts, the battle lines are clearly drawn. According to Shalvash [of the Sephardi Trust], “All areas are our areas” and the Ashkenazic trust “has no control of” Rabbi Shimon bar Yohai. But Ben-Zion Guberstadt, board member of the Ashkenazic trust, states simply, “We say the whole thing is ours.”

Both groups claim hundreds of years’ precedent, and appeals through the past five years to courts — both religious and civil — have failed to settle the feud…

Both groups say that they are ready to build prayer houses and ritual baths to serve the million-plus pilgrims a year. The Sephardim say they would use a multimillion-dollar Safra legacy. The Ashkenazim say that even without this money, they have donors in England who will give $25 million.

[Rivka note – this is an old article, and some renovations of the Tomb itself, using money from the Safra legacy, have subsequently been carried out in Meron.]

==

The Sephardic trust, however, says that the Ashkenazim are driven less by a genuine interest in the site and more by the financial implications of control…

The Ashkenazic trust is battling for control “because they want money. That’s the name of the game,” Shalvash said in an interview with the Forward. Guberstadt flatly denied the claim…

The prevailing opinion in the Israeli government is that it should take control of the site, an inside source said.

On Meron, Rabbi Shraga Shnitzer suggests a different solution. Shnitzer, head of the independent charity Ohel Ha’Rashbi-Meron, which provides free food to visitors, believes that decisions about the site’s future should be placed in the hands of the most respected contemporary halachic authorities, the gedolei hador.

He said, “Ashkenazim and Sephardim need to sit together with gedolei hador who will come to the place and hear from everyone at Meron and decide what is allowed to do and what it is not allowed to do.”

But Schvinger says that any resolution will open up another can of worms, as there are rival splinter groups within each trust. “If it is decided that either the Sephardi or Ashkenazi hekdesh are the owners, this will open up a whole new question as to who is the true Sephardi or Ashkenazi hekdesh.”

====

The ‘Schvinger’ quoted here is Yosef Schvinger, head of the ‘National Center for the Management of Holy Places‘, and Aryeh Deri’s right hand man, who we wrote about HERE.

There’s a LOT of very dodgy things going on around the grave of the RASHBI at Meron, but at least one aspect seems to be bringing us back to the idea of ‘following the money’.

==

Right at the start of the investigation into Meron, I had some emails from someone who told me that the grave is a very big money spinner for the people who are running it.

It brings in literally millions of shekels in donations every year, and those donations are made to the various organisations and people who ‘own’ it.

Something about this just doesn’t seem right, does it?

We’ll have to tread very carefully, to try and unpick all this, because while the financial incentive is clearly looming large in the battle for control, it’s certainly not the only reason that at least some of the people involved in Meron are there, and doing what they are doing.

At least some of those people also care for the sanctity of the site, and the well-being of the pilgrims who are visiting it.

But sorting the wheat from the chaff is going to be challenging, to say the least.

And at this stage, I’d really love to know who is sitting on those ‘hekdeshim’, which ‘hekdeshim’ came first, the Sephardi or the Ashkenazi ones, who is making the decisions and really wielding the control on the ground – and how much money is flowing through the coffers of these organisations, and where it’s all going.

Once we know that, we’ll know a lot more about what ‘went wrong’ in Meron this year.

For sure, it was State-sponsored mass murder carried out by the police.

But clearly, there is also a lot of cheshbon hanefesh that’s required on the ‘frum’ side of the equation, too.

UPDATE 2:

Baruch Hashem, now we are having some ‘achdut’ between the Sephardim and Ashkenazim after all…

SHAS and UTJ are working together to try to help cover up what really happened in Meron on L’ag B’omer.

This comes from HERE:

Mount Meron: UTJ and Shas propose gov’t controlled committee of enquiry

Interior Minister and Shas head Arye Deri would control appointment of chairman, and at least two other committee members, while the chief rabbis would also appoint a representative.

====

In case you forgot, Deri and ‘Interior Minister’ Amir Ohana were two of the ministers, together with Yuli Edelstein, Nachman Ash, and Netanyahu, who signed off on the ‘Coronavirus rules’ for Meron this year, that directly killed 45 people, and injured hundreds more.

So of course, a ‘government controlled committee of enquiry’ where the appointments are all being controlled by the very people who need to be investigated to get to the truth, is worse than useless.

People, how much longer are we going to put up with these so-called ‘religious’ politicians, who only care about their own egos?

45 people died, the Government is poised to swoop in on Meron and ‘expropriate it’, what happened in Meron is now being used as the ‘excuse’ to stop big weddings, and visits to other holy sites, and to try to ‘control’ even more aspects of religious life – and our two ‘religious’ parties in the Knesset are totally complicit in the cover up of what really happened on L’ag B’omer.

Man, it stinks.

====

UPDATE 3:

So, I did more digging around the whole question of ‘who owns Meron’, and that brought me to a couple more interesting bits of information.

#1 – There is apparently also a massive corruption investigation currently going on in land ownership in the whole of Meron, over the last 40 years, which began in April 2019.

You can go HERE to read more of the details, if you want. (I’m choosing not to translate this, at this point, for the blogbut Google translate works well enough, if you don’t have Hebrew:)

==

#2 The Hebrew Wikipedia contains more information about who ‘owns’ Meron.

It seems that the Algerian ‘Abu’ family basically bought the site when they made aliyah in 1817.

That then somehow became the ‘Sephardi Trust’ – or at least one of them – who took over management of the site, which was registered in the Trust’s name in 1888, when Eretz Yisrael was still under Ottoman control.

In 1920, when it became mandatory to official register ownership of the land, most of the land was registered in the name of the Spanish Trust, with a small area now also registered in the name of the ‘unknown’ Ashkenazi Trust, while the rest of Meron was put in the name of the Israel Lands Administration.

Snippet from Wiki:

“In 1976 , an agreement was signed between the Spanish Trust and the Ministry of Religions, according to which the ministry will rent the complex for a period of 5 years. This period ended in 1981, when the complex returned to the management of the Spanish Trust. However, during the period a number of different organizations and bodies clung to the place, which refused to vacate their place afterwards.

Splits and divisions in various dedications, led to four various public agencies being involved in managing the complex, in addition to the Ministry of Religious Affairs and National Center for the Development of the Holy Places…

Since 1998, there has been a legal dispute over the ownership of the site, between four different endowment bodies, which are splits of the old Sephardic and Ashkenazi Trusts.

The litigation took place in both the Rabbinical Court and the District Court , with appeals being submitted to the Supreme Court . The State of Israel was also involved in the litigation on the issue, and finally in 2008 the Supreme Court decided to appoint a five-member committee (one from each body of the sanctuary, and the State Representative as chairman), to manage the compound.”

====

So the ‘Vaad Hahamisha’ is this five-member committee, that was appointed by the State of Israel’s Supreme Court in 2008.

And the ‘State Representative’ is R’ Shmuel Rabinovitch, the Rav of the Kotel and chair of the Western Wall Heritage Foundation.

You probably won’t be surprised to learn that there is a whole can of worms opening up around the Western Wall Heritage Foundation, too, but I’ll save that for another post.

R’ Rabinovitch lost a nephew in the crush at Meron.

He wrote about that – apparently in English! – HERE.

But it’s strange there is no mention of him chairing the ‘Vaad Hahamisha’ that is actually at least nominally responsible for the site’s infrastructure.

====

In the meantime, from what I can tell with the very limited information available, the Sephardim seem to be getting the short end of the stick here, as their Trust / Endowment clearly owned the site first, and clearly owns most of the site, historically.

Also check the comments, below, for more input on ‘who really owns Meron’ which at this stage I can’t verify, but it’s certainly adding another dimension into an already murky discussion.

It’s hard to see anyone associated with Meron – in any capacity – coming out of this smelling of roses.

Everywhere I turn, there seems to be decades of corruption bubbling up – even when we’re not talking about the State-sponsored mass murder of pilgrims.

Sigh.

====

UPDATE #4:

Another interesting addition to the list of ‘figuring out what really happened in Meron’ can be found HERE, on the Kikar Shabbat website.

Take away points:

“[A]nother document of the licensing officer from the northern district of the police, which was revealed to “News 12”, states that the engineer approved the buildings, the bleachers and the lighting stage in the Toldot Aharon compound, and determined that each bleacher would have 220 to 300 people. There will be 1,800 people in the gathering plaza and the total number of celebrants in the place will not exceed 3,159.

In practice, and although the Israel Police approved the decision of the licensing officer and the safety plan, about 20,000 people were present – six times the number allowed.”

====

But here is the really telling stuff:

“Also, in a document sent three days before the incident, the engineer alerted police that “due to the expected amount of crowds, all emergency exits should be kept free.” But in real time there were policemen on the ground who were not properly instructed, and even blocked one of the exits.

Moreover, at a concluding safety discussion, which took place a day before the celebration, according to one of those present, when talking about the quantities of celebrants, and the engineer expressed concern about the congestion, District Commander Superintendent Shimon Lavi replied: “Do not worry [about access] To the site, I know how to stop them if necessary. “

(Emphasis mine).

====

This is incredible.

It seems the police are saying they DID block ‘one exit’ out of Toldos Aharon the night of L’ag B’omer.

And of course, we know that THERE WAS ONLY ONE EXIT out of Toldos Aharon, the night of L’ag B’omer, as the Health Ministry ‘Coronavirus Regulations’ meant that the other three were blocked the whole time, with fences and gates.

And the police’s own safety engineer flags congestion as a real concern three days before L’ag B’omer – before most of the Ministry of Health’s additional fences and ‘checkpoints’ and the ‘tunnel of death’ had even been built – and is just waved off by the police.

Why aren’t these people being arrested, already?

====

That Kikar Shabbat article also throws some light on the specific issue we’re discussing in this post, stating there is:

“[A]n open check for tens of millions of shekels, which the Safra Foundation previously placed in favor of renovating the complex and repairing the many defects in it, but while most members of the famous ‘Va’ad HaHamisha’ in charge of the complex were happy, Avraham Froelich, who heads the “sanctuary” of the fanatics, refused – because of their principle not to enjoy “Zionist money”.

I understand the principle.

But I’d really like to know just who Avraham Froelich is representing.

Who is he working for?

Who is making these decisions, behind the scenes?

And why is all this information so very hard to come by?

UPDATE 5:

Yosef Schvinger and Israel Deri, of the Holy Sites Authority, were questioned by the police two days’ ago, on May 18th. See more HERE.

The director general of the Center for Holy Places in the Ministry of Religious Affairs, Yossi Schwinger and Israel Deri, in charge of the northern region, the center’s cargo, were interrogated by Lahav 433 with a warning in recent days, and released today [Tuesday, May 18, 2021.]

And in case you need more evidence that we are living in the olam hafuch, or upside-down world, the anti-Torah ‘Yesh Atid’ is bringing a bill to the Knesset on Monday to demand an independent State Commission of Inquiry into what happened in Meron.

Let’s see how the ‘religious’ parties, UTJ and SHAS, try to wiggle out of voting in favor for it, so they can keep the cover up going.

What’s the ‘correct’ spiritual response to everything that’s going on, right now?

Let me spoil the suspense by telling you up front that I don’t have a pat, neat answer to that question. But what I do want to share here is some general guidelines, for how each of us can start to figure out what God really wants from us, and what message we are meant to be getting here, on the individual level.

====

Let’s start with an (anonymised…) email exchange I had a few days ago, around the subject of what happened in Meron:

Dear Rivka:

What’s your take on the following videoclip:

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1El353YyacJKm2iDb9UmqDL0CfE2wS07I/view?usp=sharing

How would you explain it in the light of your perception of what transpired?

Thank you in advance!

====

It’s a clip of one of the Meron survivors who lost a child saying that he refuses to discuss the idea that there was anything nefarious going on that evening.

Here’s what I wrote back to my correspondent:

If you’re asking how do I understand his viewpoint, that God did it and we shouldn’t question ‘why’ God did it – that’s his derech, and kol ha kavod to him.
My derech (tries to….) follow the 3 rules of emuna set out by Rav Arush, based on Jewish traditions that pre-date Breslov, but are part of the Breslov path of my rabbi:
1) God is doing everything.
2) Everything God does is for the good (even though sometimes it’s v painful)
3) Everything that happens contains a message, about what we need to work on, fix, rectify, improve.
I’m looking at #3 with all this stuff.
There’s a message here – many millions of messages here – and each person needs to identify their own message, and run with it, to figure out what God really wants from THEM.
====

Here’s what my correspondent sent back:

Thank you very much for your prompt and detailed response! I appreciate your analysis and lessons learned.

What my friend, who forwarded this videoclip to me, saw in it – is the refutation of “the conspiratorial insights” as per testimony of this person. It impressed him immensely and he demanded that I should be “moideh al hoemes”.

I was wondering if his reply was attributable to his “aberration state” of consciousness following such profound personal tragedy.

Also, I was thinking that perhaps, people in Israel are locked in the deep state of denial vis-a-vis the scale and pervasiveness of wickedness emanating from the Erev Rav in power that their Orwellian mode of thinking prevents them even under normal circumstances from facing the reality. And ultimately, simple concern and vigilance of possible outcome: who knows who else was there in the shiva room then, who was taping the scene and where could the recording eventually land?

Yet, with all that in mind, the resolve to deny any shred of a foul play does beg a question.

Perhaps, you might have additional clarifications.

Thank you!

====
Here’s what I replied:

I can’t really answer the question, as to why he believes what he believes, or is saying what he’s saying.

I don’t know why.
It certainly strikes me as very strange, and there could be any number of explanations as to what is really going on.

I think the thing to focus on is our roleour response to all this.

It could well be that Hashem doesn’t expect the people who lost loved ones to stand up and fight this battle for the truth – they’ve been through enough.
But you and me – we don’t have that excuse.
And I feel in my soul, that IF there was foul play here – and the more I look into it, the more it seems that this is the case – then I owe it to myself, as a frum Jew, and to the victims, and to the greater Am, and ultimately also Hashem, to stand up for the truth.
Or at least, to try to, given that I’m also very limited, and I’m also groping in the dark here, a lot of the time.
====

The point is this: spiritual responses are not ‘one size fits all’.

Each person in the world is on their own path, with their own mission, their own job to do, their own stuff to fix.

So where one person may get the message to just ‘see the good’ in something like Meron, and another person might get the message that they need to strengthen their Torah learning, or where bullet-proof tights – those messages are all individual to them.

The message I got – very strongly and repeatedly in my hitbodedut about what went down into Meron – was to research it as fast and as thoroughly as I could, because something very bad happened here, and we can’t just sit back and watch it all get covered up.

====

Which brings me to the next point.

Very well known individuals came out to say that we cannot know the reasons why Meron happened, and that there are no prophets in our generation that can tell us.

Again, I respectfully disagree with this approach.

EVERYTHING contains a message from God about what we may need to work on, fix rectify and change, absolutely everything – and especially soul-shaking events like the mass murder of 45 people in Meron on L’ag B’omer.

And I also disagree that there are ‘no prophets in our generation’.

====

A full three weeks before the atrocity in Meron, Rav Berland gave over THIS shiur, and that same day, he also sent two busloads of his talmidim up to Meron to go and pray on a Thursday night, dafka between 12am – 7am, to avert a ‘terrible decree’ he foresaw on the horizon.

Here’s some of what he said on April 11th, 2021, almost three weeks before L’ag B’omer:

====

[O]n that day, they decided to slaughter all the Jews. 100,000 Jews in five minutes.

How long does it take to kill 100,000 Jews?….
All the police will go on the microphone at 6 in the morning… And they will make an announcement to wipe out all the Jews, all the Jewish nation….

The goyim are waiting all year to start chopping… To decapitate, to [separate] the Jews from their heads. Only [waiting] for permission from the king.

They are just waiting for the announcement, the megaphone, and then within 10 seconds there will not remain any Jews in all of ‘Istanbul’…And so at 6 in the morning, no memory [of the Jews] will remain.

Judenrein, Judenrein, Judenrein.

Everything will all be cleansed of Jews. And Jews will not live in ‘Istanbul’, until the end of their lifetimes.

====

So then, the gezeira will occur, and then Jews will no longer live in ‘Istanbul’ forever. It will be Judenrein… And so, we will have a city cleansed of Jews, and then we’ll have fun.

And what a good life we will have!

====

This is what [the goyim] thought in their hearts – and it’s forbidden to reveal it.

Whoever reveals it, oy va voy. The electric chair in the city square. They would always say that there was one like this who used to tell things to the Jews, always!

And the Jews would then nullify the gezeira within five minutes. They would bring a few coins, they would collect at the wall (Kotel) a few agarot (pennies) and sweeten it all. What’s the problem? A Jew knows how to sweeten everything.

In a thousandth of a second, he can sweeten all of the gezeirot in the world – so [the Turks decided] don’t reveal it, and that’s it!…

====

It’s already 1 in the morning, and [the minister who loves the Jews] can’t fall asleep. He cries out, hatzilu! Save us! Save us! Save us! Save us!

They are going to destroy all of the Jews, and they don’t know anything about it!

====

So he ran to the head of the community, at 1 o’clock in the morning, already everyone is asleep…

[S]uddenly, BOOM! CRASH! What incredible banging on the door! CRASH! BOOM! They are breaking down the door.

And the head of the community, he doesn’t understand what’s going on. The FBI has arrived, the KGB have arrived – only the KGB would make such banging.

He ran in a panic to open the door… He sees the most important minister, the most important minister.

He says to him, Listen, in another five minutes no memory will remain from all of Am Yisrael. Run quickly to the King! I’m fleeing from here. Oy va voy, maybe they will come after me! Today everything is recorded!

If they record me, I’m finished! I’m lost! The electric chair! He called out to the minister, where are you running to?

====

The minister with kol od nafsho bo (all the soul that was left in him) jumped all the stairs in one jump.

The head of the community, did not know what to do. He did not know where to run. Where can we go? In another five minutes, אhere will be no trace left of all the Jews.

Six in the morning, 9.30 – there won’t remain the trace of even a single Jew.

Run quickly! Run quickly, and save all the Jews! Just run, they need to run!

====

How the head of the community ran!

Wow! Not even the best athlete couldn’t catch up with him. He woke up all the heads of the community. It’s already 3 in the morning. Everyone is running.

They don’t know their right from their left, north or south, east or west. They don’t know where to run to, in which direction, where to run, where to flee to, where to go…

====

The heads of the community, let’s say Shuvu Banim, began to sing one passuk (verse) for three hours, ‘Who performs wonders alone, because His kindnesses are forever’.

[On April 11th, the same day this shiur was given over by the Rav, two coachloads of Shuvu Banim went to Meron, on the instructions of a ‘hidden Tzaddik’, to try to sweeten a very harsh decree that this ‘hidden Tzaddik’ could see on the horizon.]

Everybody sing! [Rabbi] Shimon is singing with us! [the Rav is singing with them] ‘Who performs wonders alone, because his kindnesses are forever’. There are still another 20 minutes before 7am, ‘to perform wonders alone, because His kindnesses are forever.’..

====

….Come, let’s run to Balfour!

Maybe there, Bibi will sweeten something…Everyone, yallah, run, run!

How they ran! Wow!

I remember it, they ran, they stampeded over 10 cats and 5 dogs.

There are indictments, to crush a cat is worse than murdering a human being, today.

B’kitzur, they bang for the gatekeeper, four in the morning. By six – they say there will already be no trace remaining of the Jews.

They didn’t tell about the decree, because we can’t make the announcement five minutes before. They didn’t make the announcement – because people would cancel it. Only at that moment. And then, they would all come, and gomarnu. He / it will decapitate 10 people, and slaughter, and within five seconds there will not remain one Jew in ‘Istanbul’…

====

The guard wakes up.

What’s going on here?! Why are you breaking down the gate?! I’m going to bring the police on everyone!! They said, no, no! There is a terrible decree here! Some decree on the Jews! We are the messengers of the Jews! There is a decree to wipe out all of us!

Yes, I heard it. I heard something about this. They said it’s forbidden to reveal it….

====

….He jumped 10 stairs in one jump.

Banged on the door. [The mother of the sultan] came out in her pyjamas, wearing her night robe. What’s going on? Guests? I heard that the head of the community arrived.

Don’t ask! They are going to kill all the Jews!

What?! Bring them into the lobby. I’m coming down.

She slid down all of the 10 steps. She jumped it in one jump. What’s going on?! They said there’s a decree!! They are killing the Jews! They said it’s forbidden for us to reveal it. If we reveal it, they will hang us all in the city square…

They crushed 20 cats. 100 dogs, on the way.

She has 100 indictments until today.

To run over dogs is worse than killing a human today.

====

Who can read this, and honestly not see – with hindsight – exactly what Rav Berland was describing?

On the same day that he sent his students up to Meron, to go and pray to avert a terrible decree?

And now, you tell me: can we really say ‘there are no prophets amongst us’?

====

Why are all these terrible things happening right now?

There are many reasons, and each of us has to do our own cheshbon hanefesh, talk to God, and figure out what the specific message is for us, that we need to work on figure out.

But there are certainly clues that the ongoing awful treatment of Rav Berland – and how the frum world has turned its back on him, leaving him to be tortured in prison by the same reshaim who killed 45 holy Jews in Meron – has at least something to do with all this.

====

Remember THIS, from three days ago?

A terrifying message from the elder Kabbalist, the Tzaddik Rabbi Amos Gweta shlit”a of Netanya.

“For a long time the Jewish people are silent, great rabbis are silent, the entire world is silent — about the disgracing of a great Tzaddik, the Tzaddik of the generation, who is Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit”a, who they are disgracing from the morning to the evening.

Rabbi Berland shlit”a, they’re torturing him for a year and a half in prison — he still hasn’t been tried, and everyone is afraid to protest….

 “If [people] don’t protest the [insult] to the honor of Rabbi Eliezer Berland, there will be a tragedy a 1000 times greater.”

====

There are many, many spiritual messages coming down right now.

Each person needs to do their own cheshbon hanefesh, to see what they themselves are being required to recognise, rectify and fix.

But at least for some people in the frum world, re-examining their attitudes towards Rav Berland – and towards the lying, corrupt, murderous, anti-Torah ‘State of Israel’ who has been persecuting him groundlessly for the last decade – may need to loom large in that process.

I’ve pulled together the basic relevant information about what happened in Meron into a PDF.

If you click the link below, you should be able to download this.

It has a lot of screenshots, and tries to pull everything we’ve learned together over the last couple of weeks into an easy, simple to understand document.

Accident or Murder in Meron – PDF

Given what just happened in Givat Zev – and the fact that the police has inexplicably slapped a gag order on the investigation into that – I think it’s imperative to get this document around as many people, as fast as possible.

There is a war going on against the religious world in Israel right now, and the gloves have really come off, since Meron.

====

Just a few days ago, the kabbalist Amos Guetta warned that if more of us don’t start protesting what is happening to Rav Berland, the disasters are just going to keep going, and going to get 1,000 times worse.

Things are pretty bad here already!

I can’t begin to imagine what 1,000 times worse would look like….

So, we have our work cut out for us.

In this penultimate part of the series about the Meron atrocity, we’re going to take a look at who signed off on what.

Because while the people who were operating the crematoria, and policing the gas chambers, were undoubtedly cruel and sadistic, they were still just murderous scum who were ‘only following orders’.

Same thing here.

Over the last few posts, we’ve been building up a picture of what was really going on in Meron that shows clearly that ‘blocking the exit’ by AREA 41 was only the final coup de grace in a meticulously planned operation to mass murder hundreds, and probably even thousands of Jews.

So now, let’s take a look at what ‘agreements’ were made; who signed off on what, to see if we can get an idea of whose orders were being followed, that terrible night in Meron.

With God’s help, let’s do this.

EXHIBIT 1:

The text below is a translation of THIS news story, that appeared on the ‘Bhol Chareidi’ news site, on April 29, 2021, the day before L’ag B’omer:

====

Here’s a little of what it says:

(To ensure we have clarity, I will put the original Hebrew, then my English translation underneath.)

ENGLISH TRANSLATION:

Just hours before the opening of the celebrations of the hiloula of the RASHBI in Meron, Corona Tzar Nachman Ash publicizes the full outline for the celebration of L’ag B’omer in Meron, 5781.

A document obtained by Behadrei Haredim states that in a discussion held last night with the participation of Health Minister Edelstein, Interior Minister Deri and Internal Security Minister Amir Ohana, the outline of the celebration on Mount Meron was agreed upon, based on the work done between the relevant parties in recent weeks.

At the meeting, it was agreed that the National Center for the Management of Holy Places and the Israel Police will do everything possible to implement the Ministry of Health’s recommendations as follows:

====

Let’s sum things up as we go along, as this is probably going to be an important post, with a lot of vital information.

We are being told here that the ‘health’ guidelines for how L’ag B’omer should be conducted this year, 5781, was agreed upon by the following ministers:

Yuli Edelstein, Minister of Health

Aryeh Deri, Minister of the Interior

Amir Ohana, Minister of Internal Security,

Nachman Ash, the ‘Coronavirus Tzar’.

And of course, the whole thing then went to Netanyahu for his agreement.

These politicians then tasked the police, and the  National Center for the Management of Holy Places, with implementing these dangerous ‘health’ guidelines – with deadly results.

====

The police we’ve covered in other posts, and their part in implementing the murder in Meron is obvious.

But let’s take a look at the ‘National Center for the Management of Holy Places‘, to see what we can learn about that organisation.

====

THIS article appeared on the horrible YNET site, shortly after the atrocity in L’ag B’omer.

====

Here’s a relevant (translated ) snippet:

Going underground: Director General of the Center for the Development of Holy Places has remained silent since the Meron disaster.

Joseph Schwinger, director of the Center for the Development of Holy Places, has been the liaison between all the bodies involved in organizing the celebration for 20 years…

Around two hours before the terrible disaster in Meron, Yosef Schwinger, the director of the Center for the Development of Holy Places, and the person most identified with [organising] the hiloula of the RASHBI, removed responsibility [for the event] from himself.

[He said in interview]:

“The one who is responsible for operations in the field is the Israel Police, and it’s forbidden to let them run away from this matter.”

====

Doesn’t it strike you as odd, that TWO HOURS before the fatal crush in Meron, this guy was being interviewed live on TV blaming the police, and saying they were responsible?

Ynet explains this very strange occurrence like this:

“It is likely that Schwinger, nicknamed the “Meron Chief of Staff”, already felt something was wrong at the time. “I’m already waiting to get to the next day,” he said, and told [the interviewer] that he himself had been buffeted by all the crowds of people who were filling every spot in the grave complex.

“Children are almost being crushed, it’s a very unpleasant spectacle,” he said.

====

But as soon as the atrocity actually happened, Schwinger dropped off the radar.

So, we have the ‘Meron Chief of Staff’, head of the Center for the Development of Holy Places for 20 years, clearly aware that something bad is in the offing two hours before the fatal crush occurred – and he does nothing about it.

To be fair, we all know that all these so-called ‘religious Jews’ in the government are just window-dressing, with no real power. They are just ‘following orders’, same as everyone else.

They are the PM’s ‘religious-looking’ poodles, whose job is to keep persuading the religious public in Israel that they really do have some political power, someone in government who is really looking out for them.

But of course, Meron clearly showed us all that’s a total lie.

Let’s continue.

====

Here’s what else we can learn from that YNET article:

  • Schwinger is Aryeh Deri’s right hand man – and has been for 20 years.
  • Schwinger is the liaison between the police, the fire brigade, MDA and the other bodies involved in the L’ag B’omer celebration, and participates in their joint work.
  • He also gets an annual budget of about NIS 15 million, which is entirely dedicated to the L’ag B’omer celebration.
  • Schwinger doesn’t report to the Religious Affairs ministry, he reports directly to Deri, and the Center for the Development of Holy Places has none of the regulatory oversight you’d expect.

====

Let’s quote this next bit directly from YNET, Hebrew original first, then my translation:

====

ENGLISH TRANSLATION:

This shita enabled the Centre to operate as an ‘extra-territorial’ body, also in relation to funds.

A source in the Finance Committee said that there was never any supervision of the way in which the millions of shekels transferred to the Centre were distributed in relation to the celebration in Meron….

Unlike most government authorities, the Centre doesn’t only receive a budget from the state, but is also allowed to raise donations. “It’s just not clear where that money is going,” another source said.

====

Where it clearly WASN’T going was into improving the basic infrastructure of the site in Meron, for the pilgrims.

But that’s a post for another time.

I want to point out one more thing, that Schwinger had apparently been warning for years that the hiloula in Meron was not being managed in a safe way.

Why nothing was done about that is also a post for another time, but it brings us back to the point that the ‘religious Jews’ in the government here are just paper tigers. They are following ‘orders from above’, same as everyone else.

====

I was also really shocked to learn which ministers were supporting a full Independent State Commission into the atrocity, and who wasn’t.

Again, from YNET:

“Ynet contacted all government ministers to understand their position regarding the establishment of a State Commission of Inquiry.”

Most of the MKs who wanted a State Commission were from Blue and White, including Benny Gantz.

Nearly all of Likud, bar Tzachi Hanegbi, WANTED THE POLICE TO INVESTIGATE THEMSELVES.

And ‘religious’ ministers Aryeh Deri, Yaakov Litzman and  Rafi Peretz either dodged the question, or went totally underground.

This is so mind-boggling…. 45 people are murdered by police actions in cold blood in Meron, and our so-called ‘religious’ MKs simply don’t care about getting to the truth of what really happened?!

Why are they so scared of the truth being revealed?

====

So now, it’s time to turn our attention to ‘whose orders’ were being followed, that night in Meron.

There is an effective ‘dictatorship’ occurring in Israel – and this is has been going on for years.

There is one key person making the crucial decisions in this country, and that person then finds ‘patsies’ to hide behind, so there is some built-in ‘plausible deniability’.

I’m not mentioning names, but you all know who I’m talking about here.

And that person themselves is ‘taking orders’ from people behind the scenes, who really don’t have the Jewish people’s best interests at heart.

Let’s continue with the story of Meron.

====

While I was trawling through a million-and-one sites that last few weeks, trying to piece together the real story of Meron, I came across THIS blog site.

There, I read a weird reference translated from the Hasifot.com website about something called the ‘Pima police’, who were alleged to have been operating in Meron, on the day of atrocity.

This is the relevant snippet:

A commenter on Telegram, Becky Aloni, stated:

“זה היה מתוכנן מאוד הם רצו להקרות ליהודים מי שולט פה כי רוב היו שוטרי משטרת ההסדר העולמי “פימא

“It was very planned they wanted to happen to the Jews who control here because most were policemen from the global police force Pima.”

I don’t know what “Pima” is, but were there people acting as police in Mt. Meron who were bad actors?

====

Well, my atuned journalist nose for ‘news’ started twitching when I read that, and I started trying to track down these ‘Pima police’, who were apparently in Meron this year.

I turned up nothing, nada, in my search for ‘Pima police’.

But then, I realised that the Hebrew had been mis-translated, and that the woman was really talking about ‘FEMA police.’

All of a sudden, things got interesting again.

But was there any demonstrable connection – at all – between the State of Israel and FEMA?

(For those of you who don’t already know, FEMA stands for ‘Federal Emergency Management Agency’.

Here‘s their website – and this agency has been figuring large in nefarious ‘New World Order’ type scenarios for decades.)

====

So, I type in ‘FEMA and Israel’ – and very quickly, I get to this, from March 25, 2020:

https://www.jpost.com/Israel-News/Israels-NEMA-to-work-with-FEMA-in-the-fight-against-coronavirus-622315

====

Here’s the relevant snippet:

Israel’s National Emergency Management Authority (NEMA) and its American Counterpart, FEMA, have established a cooperation mechanism to fight the coronavirus pandemic, Israel’s Defense Ministry announced on Wednesday.
According to a statement released by the defense ministry, the two agencies held their first joint discussion on Tuesday night with representatives of the health ministries of both countries, the National Security Council (NSC), US Department of Homeland Security and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
The discussion, which was part of the international cooperation initiative led by NEMA, was led by the Head of the Cooperation and Assistance Unit in NEMA, Mr. Kobi Wimisberg, Director of the International Department of the Ministry of Health, Dr. Ashi Shalmon, and the Head of the Foreign Policy Department in the NSC, Dr. Avner Golov.

====

How about that.

Barely a year ago, FEMA and Israel’s NEMA (which I’d never even heard about, before this article) make an agreement to start ‘working together’ to ‘fight Coronavirus’.

In Meron this year, a whole bunch of people are mass murdered in the name of ‘Coronavirus regulations’ put in place by the Ministry of Health, and signed off on by Yuli Edelstein, Aryeh Deri, Amir Ohana, Nachman Ash, and of course, Benjamin Netanyahu.

All year, the State of Israel has been actively targeting the chareidi community in Israel as being ‘disease spreaders’ and ‘vectors of infection’, and openly demonising them in the press, and treating Chareidim as second-class citizens – also in the name of ‘fighting Coronavirus’.

After months of closing down every venue, every gathering, every religious place, the State of Israel suddenly decides to open up Meron for L’ag B’omer, with absolutely no limitations on the numbers of people attending.

And then, after a day replete with awful police brutality and life-threatening fences and over-crowding, 45 people ‘coincidentally’ die when the one remaining exit out of the Toldos Aharon complex is shut down by the police, following ‘orders from above.’

Then very soon after, we’re all bounced into another new ‘war’ to take our mind off investigating who gave those orders, and what really happened in Meron.

====

If you go HERE, you’ll find the official press release put out by Israel’s Ministry of Religious Affairs, about L’ag B’omer this year.

There, you’ll learn that the government was apparently expecting half a million people to attend the Meron festivities this year.

Way more than the 200,000 who actually tried to attend.

Here’s another snippet from that press release:

Seven government ministries are partners in preparing the celebration.

This year, the Ministry of Religious Affairs will budget the celebration with about NIS 15.5 million, the Ministry of Internal Security, which took care of the influx of about 5,000 police officers who will secure the many immigrants. The police are equipped with modern technology.

The Ministry of Transportation, which allocates about 4,000 buses, which will make about 7,000 round trips….

The Ministries of Health and Justice were also partners in the discussions around the revelry.

====

Let’s just head back to the ‘guidelines‘ for Meron that were put out by Nachman Ash, on April 29th, 2021 – the same day this press release came out on the website of the Ministry of Religious Affairs.

Translated snippet, below:

1. Transport only or by shuttles from the parking lots. There will be no restriction on getting to the mountain area – anyone who wants to get there can do so.

2. Across the mountain, the existing crowd restrictions will apply – 20 people in a closed space and 100 people in an open area.

3. It was agreed that the lighting area would be conducted according to a special layout for the “tav yarok” (‘green passports’):

A. The organized ascent to the fires will be made by buses, which can only be used by those with a “green passport”, i.e. those who will be vaccinated and recovered, or with negative PCR tests up to 72 hours before the event, as coordinated by the Holy Places Administration and the Israel Police.

B. There will be no more than 3,000 people next to each lighting.

C. There will be three lightings in parallel – for a total of up to 9000 people at one go.

D. There will be up to 4 rounds of lighting.

E.  It was agreed and clarified that the “green passport” will not be checked at the entrance to the event.

====

How many glaring contradictions can 10 sentences of text contain?

On the one hand, they said:

“There will be no restriction on getting to the mountain area – anyone who wants to get there can do so.”

And the government was clearly expected half a million people to show up, as evidenced by the news release on the Ministry of Religious Affairs’ website.

But, with the next breath, they said:

“[E]xisting crowd restrictions will apply – 20 people in a closed space and 100 people in an open area” – which was clearly totally unrealistic and unworkable, right from the start.

====

Next, they said that people would only be allowed to board the buses to come to Meron, and to attend a bonfire, if they could show a ‘green passport’.

But then they contradicted themselves again by saying:

“The “green passport” will not be checked at the entrance to the event.”

And also, even having just 3,000 people per bonfire clearly contravened the Health Ministry’s own guidelines that shouldn’t be more than “100 people in an open area.”

====

This ‘agreement’ for Meron was a total farce.

It was designed to publicise a bunch of rules that were totally unrealistic, to guarantee that ‘when things went wrong’, it would be so easy to point the finger at the pilgrims for ‘not following the rules’.

And in the meantime, the authorities went all out to make sure L’ag B’omer was going to teach the chareidim a lesson they’d never forget, this year in Meron.

====

Let’s stop there.

I know this isn’t one of my more polished posts -I’m feeling pretty weird today, honestly, and that’s reflecting in my writing.

But I thought it was important to get more of this information out there, including the link between Israel’s ‘NEMA’, and the USA’s ‘FEMA’, and how that may also have something to do with what happened at Meron this year.

I’m sure there is much more that could be said about all this, but I’m going to leave it here for now.

The next post will focus on a spiritual response to Meron.

If more information surfaces in the meantime, I will share it with you, BH, and I will also try to write a conclusions post, to make it easier for readers to share the key facts we’ve discovered over the last 2 weeks.

But otherwise, I’m done for now.

UPDATE:

More on NEMA – that quasi-secret Ministry of Defense organisation in Israel that has been working with FEMA to implement ‘Coronavirus directives’ on our unsuspecting population.

Here is NEMA’s official description, nested on the MoD website HERE:

The National Emergency Authority (NEMA) is tasked with coordinating and integrating all of the organizations responsible for home-front defense during emergency scenarios. The authority was established in December 2007, as a product of the lessons learned during the Second Lebanon War.

NEMA is an important tool that enables the Minister of Defense to manage and coordinate responses to emergency situations in the civil sphere.

NEMA accomplishes the aforementioned by planning, coordinating, and directing all national and local authorities dealing with preparation for emergency scenarios, and educating civilians on the subject.

  NEMA also works to maintain national resilience and functional continuity throughout crises and emergencies.

====

NEMA reports to the Minister of Defense in Israel.

Who is the Minister of Defense in Israel right now?

Benny Gantz.

Here’s who is currently heading up NEMA, as of October 2020:

Defense Minister Benny Gantz appointed Brig.-Gen. (res.) Yoram Laredo head of the National Emergency Management Authority on Thursday. The appointment was made after the roll was filled by an interim head for the past eight months.

Laredo previously served as the head of the Home Front Command and was recently released from the IDF.

====

Here he is, talking about ‘Covid preparedness’ back in March 2020 – which is weird, as he was apparently only appointed head of NEMA six months later:

Take a look from about minute 7 onwards.

====

I would love to know just how involved ‘NEMA’, and its officials were, in planning this year’s ‘celebration’ in Meron.

Especially as the police and Magen Dovid Adam, and other organisations apparently operating under the NEMA remit were busy practising ‘war games’ in Meron the whole week before, where they were practising for grandstands to collapse…and for massive fires to break out… and for people to ‘die’ in all sorts of weird and wonderful ways.

And of course, we see how USEFUL all that ‘preparation’ was on the night, when it came to saving lives, getting people off the site and enabling ambulances to have a good route of access to evacuate the dead and injured.

====

This comes from Ha’aretz:

Earlier in the week the police conducted war games simulating the Meron celebrations, with results that were similar to what actually transpired a few days later. The worst thing is that it shouldn’t have been a surprise.

Ha’aretz journalists, please rest assured that the authorities weren’t surprised AT ALL by what happened here.

Except that maybe, it didn’t kill anywhere near as many people as they’d hoped, because of a series of open miracles.

====

Remember, NEMA in Israel is working hand-in-hand with FEMA in the USA.

There is way more going on here, than meets the eye, and we’re starting to ‘surface’ the real people who are in control here.

And they aren’t ‘nice’.

At all.

====

UPDATE #2:

More information on the subject of ‘who owns Meron’.

The following comes from Pini Dunner’s site, HERE:

BTW, I don’t agree with his conclusions at to why the atrocity in Meron occurred.

As usual, it’s ‘all or nothing’ thinking that is has to either be the secular State or the religious authorities who are 100% to blame. All parties share some of the responsibility for what happened in Meron, but the split is more like 95% secular State to 5% ‘religious authorities.

But Pini does bring a lot of useful historical background and information in his post:

The vexed question of who “owns” Meron, and specifically the tomb itself, is at the root of the problems that led to the tragedy last week.

During the dying embers of Ottoman rule in the late nineteenth-century, control of Meron was officially put into the hands of the Sephardic community of Safed under the auspices of something called a hekdesh, which translates roughly as “non-profit” or “endowment”.

Even at that time ownership was already disputed, and some elements of the area were designated in the name of another hekdesh – the Ashkenazi community of Safed. Over time, these two groups split into four separate entities: two Sephardic and two Ashkenazi.

After the establishment of the State of Israel… government authorities chose to let things remain as they were.

Since then, various attempts have been made by Israel’s Ministry of Religious Affairs and local civic authorities to upgrade the facilities so that Meron could accommodate the ever-increasing numbers of pilgrims on Lag Ba’omer, but the competing interests refused to agree to any major structural work.

[Rivka note: it’s not that black and white. Yair Lapid launched an attempt to take over governance of Meron when he was involved in his all-out war against the Torah world. It’s little wonder that his initiative wasn’t trusted by the religious community.]

====

Last Summer the Va’adat Hachamisha, which is made up of representatives of each hekdesh, along with Rabbi Shmuel Rabinovich, who is Israel’s official rabbi of the Western Wall and other Jewish holy sites in Israel, announced that a lawyer, Eli Freund of Haifa, was taking over as the new CEO of the Meron shrine.

But according to a senior local resident who I spoke to, Freund has rarely visited Meron, and his impact on the site has been non-existent. Rabbi Rabinovich is also unable to impose decisions on the site, even though he is chairman of the committee, as… none of the competing “owners” recognizes his authority, nor that of the Israeli government.

One of the two Ashkenazi groups is headed by Rabbi Avrohom Frohlich – the former proprietor of a Judaica auction house in Jerusalem who closely associates himself with the Brisk community in Jerusalem, a group that utterly rejects the State of Israel’s legitimacy…

He is closely followed in his inflexibility and refusal to consider any changes to Meron’s infrastructure by his Ashkenazi counterpart, Rabbi Mordechai Dov Hacohen Kaplan, son of Safed’s late chief rabbi, Rabbi Avraham Simcha Hacohen Kaplan;

Rabbi Dovid Derli of Tiberias, who heads one of the two Sephardic endowments; and Rabbi Matityahu Shrem, the head of the other Sephardic hekdesh, who lives in Rechasim, a neighborhood adjacent to Kfar Hasidim.

====

All this segues in with many of the things I’ve been researching here on the blog over the last few months, about the ‘interesting people’ in our midst.

BH, we’ll come back to this soon.

====

UPDATE #3:

Here’s an interview with R’ Avraham Frohlich, where he explains at least some of the reasons why the Meron grave has not been properly refurbished. It’s really worth reading the whole thing:

https://www.theyeshivaworld.com/news/israel-news/48584/rav-froehlich-speaks-out-on-meron-violence.html

In short, he’s saying the State of Israel doesn’t respect the sanctity of the site, doesn’t appreciate that it’s actually a Jewish graveyard, and that they have no faith in the secular architects the State of Israel is trying to foist on them.

This interview is from 2010.

Snippet below:

We agreed to what must be done, with caution and care.

We are asking two things. The professional committee; the architects, engineers and contractors, and by the way, we no longer trust the present architect so we are asking for an engineer, someone the chareidi community trusts, someone who exhibits an understanding for the religious sensibilities involved. He will be the person on whom we rely to understand what is going on.

====

The headline kind of says it all.

This ‘government’ is only interested in one thing: staying in power to advance its own agenda.

Exactly two minutes before an ‘alternative government’ was going to be formed – and Netanyahu would be out of power for the first time in well over a decade – the message went out to agent provacateurs on both sides of the fence to start ratcheting up the violence.

Now that I’m more adept at spotting the fake news, it was clear that so very much of the ‘build up to war’ was state-sponsored.

And now, lots of people are dying and being hurt.

====

What can we small people do about all this, really?

Here’s a snippet of an email I got from someone who is close to the Rav, a couple of days ago:

On another occasion the Rav [Rabbi Eliezer Berland] said most of the those that act violently are doing it because of the few demonic leaders who instill in them this hate.

But if we do teshuva and have shemirat habrit then automatically the demons die.

(It’s like the Arizal says in the kavanot of kriat shema – those hundreds of thousands of demons and evil spirits that a person created can get destroyed in one moment of teshuva).

And then automatically, all their followers will stop acting violently.

Each person needs to look only to himself and honestly say I am the cause of all this.

====

When we really make the teshuva required, when we return to God wholeheartedly, when we stop talking c*ap about politics being the answer, or one ‘identikit’ Manchurian candidate after another being our ‘savior’, or advocating more violence and murder as being an answer to our difficulties –

That’s when things will really change.

There are demonic people in this country, mamash demonic leaders, inciting everyone to grab a machine gun and go teach ‘the other side’ a lesson.

They are manipulating us 24/7 with ‘fake news’ about what they pretend is going on, because then the real people will jump on their bandwagon of violence and hatred  – and that’s how these demonic leaders can perpetuate their power and control for another 50 years, God forbid.

Underneath, we are all human beings.

And the blood we all bleed, is the same shade of red.

====

I’m not excusing or condoning Arab violence.

What I’m saying is that VIOLENCE AND MURDER IS NO WAY TO SOLVE PROBLEMS, whoever is dishing it out.

God is the Master of the World here, did we forget?

If we make peace with God, make the teshuva required – all these mamash demonic leaders will disappear in an instant, as the Rav says, and real peace – and geula! – will sprout in its place.

====

Let me leave you with a prayer from the Rav:

Master of the world all powerful who can do anything, merit me from now on to feel the terrible suffering of the Jewish people and the Jewish blood that is spilled in the cities street day and night until there is no house which does not have dead.

Therefore, I come before you Master of kindness and mercy, please have mercy and compassion on the flock that is being led to slaughter because before You all the secrets are revealed and all of the concealed things from the beginning of creation.

And I only yearn and desire and plead to You that You Yourself should fix everything that I messed up.

I hereby return in teshuva and I yearn only for You like it says like a deer yearns by the water so too my soul yearns for You G.od and I know faithfully that I am at fault for all of the terror attacks, all of the catastrophes, all of the terrible murdering.

This is only and solely because of my defilement of the brit that caused all of this terrible catastrophes to happen.

Therefore, I came to plead before You, Master of compassion, that Your greatness has no comprehension, to merit me to completely fix my pegamei haBrit and may I merit from now on to guard my eyes and not to cause any defilement at all in the holy covenant, G.od forbid.

And through this, may the verse be fulfilled that the sparks of holiness which the other side has swallowed up will now be vomited out and all of the holy sparks will return to the rightful place.

And through this, the holy and awesome soul of Rabeinu [our Master Rebbe Nachman of Breslov] will be drawn down once again and the complete redemption will come very very soon, in the blink of an eye.

Amen netzach selah vaed

====

One more thing I wanted to share with you here, again from the contact who is close to the Rav:

“I heard in the name of the Rav that in one month from now something really good will happen to Am Yisrael.

The Rav went out during the rockets and davened Maariv outside.

On Lag B’Omer he shot many arrows and said ‘this is for Hamas, this is for Iran…’

====

The way things are going, it’s going to be a really long month….

But hang on!

I’m also saying this to myself, because I’m feeling so very tired of all this non-stop drama, non-stop murder, non-stop manipulation, non-stop violence.

These demonic leaders of ours sometimes seem to be cemented in place, and impossible to move out the way, for geula to start flourishing.

But the Rav is saying one more month…..something very good is going to happen in one more month.

May God give us all the strength to endure, and the ability to get to the end of this month in peace, and with body, mind and soul intact.
